Been wanting to check this place out for a while. I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage. The house blend sausage was very mildly spiced. I expected it to be spicier TBH. This is a perfectly serviceable breakfast burrito. Tasty but a little soggy as they're kept in a warmer and not made to order. (Reminiscent of how King David's keeps their breakfast tacos warm). It's fine but it doesn't hold a candle to Ursula's. Will have to come back to dinner and try out the rest of the menu. read more

Wow! Happened to stumble on this spot. Super nice staff and bartender. I was kinda hesitant since I'm from LA. Ordered a margarita. Bartender started muddling lime juice. I knew something good was about to happen. It was amazing. Super soft essence of lime and sugar and tequila. Ok! I wasn't even that hungry and I ordered some chips and salsa. The salsa was freshly made with a good kick of jalapeño spice. Ok! I then ordered the green Chile chicken wet burrito. Wow! Amazing! Such a good find in Williamsburg especially when good Mexican is hard to find. Well technically it's SouthWestern via New Mexico. But definitely coming back here. read more

all around amazing! from atmosphere to service to menu to cocktails. came here on a whim with a group of friends after walking by and seeing how cute it is through the window! the whole theme of the resturant is absolutely adorable. we all got different cocktails and trader tastes, my favorite was the fallen ranger! all drinks were pretty strong and absolutely DELICIOUS! everything on the menu looked fantastic, a few of us got taco salads and other salads. having vegetarians and people with allergies, everything on the menu was able to be altered to accommodate in a very easy manner! the portion sizes were amazing, left us all full but not stuffed. Our waitress brought out a surprise dessert when we got our check, sopapiklas... INCREDIBLE! I cannot wait to go back here, the stafff was all soooo nice and friendly!!!! read more

They're supposed to open up into a full size restaurant soon, which will be great. They're going to have sopapillas and other traditional New Mexican food. My family's from NM & this right here is my comfort food. I've never been able to eat NM food from a restaurant & my expectations were set very high & SFBK did not disappoint. Green chile stew was phenomenal (grab it when you feel like you're coming down with something. Its my family's secret to never getting sick). Tortillas are so so great -flavors just like my grandma's. Breakfast Burrito was very good, too. I came here just to try out the breakfast burritos since everyone has been raving about them. I planned to show my out-of-town parents a good casual breakfast, but sadly, I was underwhelmed as the burritos are pretty mid. They were expensive ($11) for the amount and quality of food. The burritos were extremely salty and not even flavorful enough to justify the extra sodium. I understand the area is premium, but it feels like highway robbery when bigger and better burritos from say, Jessi's Coffee can be had a few train stops away and for close to half ($6) the price! read more

I had the pleasure of dining at Santa Fe BK this past Saturday night and everything was beyond amazing. We started off with 'A Good Margarita' at the bar, which definitely lived up to it's name. John (owner and bartender that evening) hand muddles limes to create one of the best margaritas I have ever had. There is also a list of specialty margaritas... my husband tried all of them and had only good things to say. The guacomole is super flavorful and fresh. I had the picadillo enchiladas Christmas style... so delicious! I had never had hatch green chiles before, and they certainly live up to the hype. My husband and our friends could not stop raving about how incredible everything was, and I feel the same. We will most definitely be back!! read more

The food is incredibly tasty and authentic and the owners and general staff are sweet. My roommate and I have consistently had an issue with the maître d'. She has been rude, unaccommodating, and unprofessional on multiple visits. We're regulars from New Mexico and bring lots of friends to this establishment. We love this place. It's a shame she is so unpleasant because apart from her the place really is fantastic. She's put us on waitlists with time estimates and hasn't followed up- leaving us waiting on a table for HOURS. Has given us attitude on multiple occasions when it's the shortcomings of reservations for not answering the phone. Unfortunately dealing with her when going to Santa Fe BK has made us no longer want to go. read more

I've been there three times because I love New Mexico and I like their tipping system for staff. However, each time I go, the food quality is meh. The french fries are never cooked all the way. The burger is half rare and is sloppy to hold and falling apart. Today, I went to try the breakfast burrito. Two bites in and 9$ later, it's going in the garbage. The burrito is soggy to hold, there are chiles thrown in and gobs of cheese. There is just not quality control at the food level and it IS a restaurant after all. Not sure what you people are eating there! That's pretty much the menu. Its a small one which means the food quality shouldn't be a hard goal to meet. read more

Dropped by very late in the day and was very lucky to get their last green Chile burger and one of the last potato burritos. The burger was very tasty... personally I think it could have been cooked a tad longer but to each their own. Regardless, the flavors were definitely there. The burrito was SO surprisingly good. I thought that a potato and egg burrito that may have been sitting around for awhile would be decent at best but WOW. The eggs were fluffy and creamy and soft, the potatoes were crispy and delicious, and that green Chile again... so good. My only wish, as others have mentioned, was that the potatoes (or whatever else is in the burrito) is scattered a bit more evenly throughout for lots of bites with the best of everything! Got some fries on the side as well, which were hot and tasty, even though crinkle fries aren't a typical favorite of mine. Best of all was the hospitality - never seen a crew so happy to be taking orders and serving up delicious food! Thanks again. read more
