My favorite burrito place! The food is always so fresh and delicious. It's the perfect quick meal. I've only eaten in the restaurant once, but it's perfectly clean - I just typically do take-out. Got take out from the Weymouth location, a Barbacoa Bowl with Spanish rice and black beans. First the good: the price was decent for the amount of food you got. Other than that, it was not enjoyable for me as the meat was too dry and way too salty. And the rice was clearly made out of the bag with no additional flavoring, not like most Spanish rice I have ever had. I have given them a few tries, but with so many better places to order from, I will no longer spend my money here. read more

Great food! It is a family run restaurant and the food is delicious. Very fresh! Basically you build your own everything... tacos, nachos, burritos, salads. Grew up in franklin- wish sante fe was around back then.... don't get me wrong- loved friendly's but this is an awesome alternative for fast fresh food. read more

Food was nowhere near authentic--not even guilty pleasure Taco Bell worthy...save your money...

I'm guessing most people will compare this place to Chipotle or another corporate taco place. Simply, this place has better flavor and way better service than Chipotle or any corporate owned taco place. The Monday burrito special can't be beat. Who else does a $5 burrito that is actually good and flavorful. The red hot sauce is spicy but delicious. This place is great for what it is, good fast casual mexican style food..... It doesn't get 5 stars because it's simply not authentic mexican food. To be fair , its extremely rare to find any authentic mexican food in Mass. if you want authentic Mexican then drive to Pawtucket or Providence. I recommend La Lupitas. ... Not being authentic doesn't mean it's not delicious. For what it is, it's great. read more

Sadly the food just isnt that great. Quality of meat was low-very fatty. The veggies were basically all onions. Everything was in big chunks which made it hard to eat. Overall freshness and flavor weren't there. And especially having chipotle as a direct comparison it just is not good. Very nice people though and fun decor. read more

This place is SO GOOD!!! I was a little hesitant going there for the first time, being an avid Chipotle lover. However, I haven't been back to Chipotle since this place opened!!! I order a steak burrito with white rice, black beans, corn salsa, sour cream and cheese and it is to die for!!! It's pretty much the same price as Chipotle, but it has more of a homemade taste. They also have more options! The staff is so nice, and it's very clean inside! Very inviting. Love the bright colors on the outside, it certainly stands out! I can definitely see this place becoming a staple in this community. Hopefully they stick around for many, many years to come!!! read more

Tried it for the first time this week and definitely impressed. The only complaints... they forgot the best part of my salad... guac (it was take out). And they don't offer a vegetarian protein like tofu. That would be amazing. Other than that, it is great. The quality for the price and the freshness is really good. read more

By far the best place for Mexican in the area. Having moved to Massachusetts from Detroit, we have been missing good simple tasty Mexican food. We found it today. The carnitas were on point and the chicken was super tasty. The barbacoa was really flavorful and overall will now be our go-to for Mexican cravings. Try this place, it won't disappoint. read more

What's that new brightly colored building in the middle of Franklin? Well, I'll tell ya. An excellent new Mexican restaurant that makes great tacos that's what! Just enjoyed 3 Al Pastor tacos and was very impressed. Very tasty for what you pay and much better than any of the fast food Mexican spots. Staff was friendly, space was clean but decor was a little all over the place, but hey, what do I know? It will be interesting to see what happens when the Dean College students come back in the Fall. I think if I were in college and had a solid Mexican restaurant within walking distance, I wouldn't leave. Good stuff! read more

Clean place, simple menu similar to other Mexican fast casual restaurants. I definitely felt the rice was fresh along with cheese. Wasn't artificial. I tried the hard shell beef tacos. Very good. Excelllent. Unknowingly headed to SFBG with the town's Strawberry Stroll night in full force. We were going to forget the excursion if their parking lot was taken over by festival goers, but, their big parking lot open. Line was at the door, but the production line counter is very well organized, clean and efficient. They worked orders seamlessly and moved folks along--orders were perfect. We're from the Western states so the atmo and bright, but modern fiesta colors is so great and just what conservative downtown Franklin needs. Plenty of table seating, even with all the festival traffic. The dining area is constantly cleaned and tables cleared. Prices and food quality--EXCELLENT. $7-9 for any entree, Our teens had the barbacoa and grilled chicken tacos and burrito bowl. If you are vegan like me, SFBG has a fresh chopped vegetarian options. The veggie fill is actually fresh cut/sauteed mix of zucchini, onions and peppers. The best Latin Veg option I've eaten since we moved to New England. and homemade FLAN is near the register. They make the flan in house, it was very good! read more

The chicken and rice were both pretty bland and the taco bowl gets soggy quickly as it is greasy. Tasted decent but made me feel gross afterwards. The Jarritos Mexican soda is a must though. Three stars for the ambiance of the place-definitely gives off a much more Mexican vibe than chipotle- although chipotle still beats it in price and taste. read more

I used to live in East LA and of course it is filled with good Mexican food. Now living here finding decent Mexican food is like a needle in a haystack.
