We searched on yelp for a good pizza place. Based on the reviews we opted to give Santas pizza a try. First impression, it's dingy and smells like it hasn't been properly cleaned. Their were flies flying around in a circle inside right by the cash register. Still we proceeded to order. The gentleman was nice. Took our order promptly. We ordered a large supreme pizza and a order of wings. He said it'd be 20 minutes. 20 minutes came and went. Our order still wasn't ready. I'm took more like 35 minutes and the establishment was empty. Not sure what happened there. None the less, we were excited to try the food. The food looks delicious, the crust on the bottom was nice and crispy. However, it all went downhill from there. The sauce is soooooo bland and almost none existent, the cheese has no flavor. Low quality ingredients are being used in my opinion. The chicken wings have good flavor but why were they supper slippery and soggy. Usually they are crispy. Not a good texture at all. This made me feel sick. We wanted to love this place but unfortunately we were let down and will not be returning and I DO NOT recommend this establishment. read more

For a privately owned place, I expected more. Was it horrible, no. Was it amazing, no. I found this pizza to be bland and flavorless. I ordered a supreme, which came with bell pepper, olives, sausage, canadian bacon, and pepperoni. The quality of all the toppings was excellent and they are not stingy with the toppings. However, the sauce had no taste. I did like how light and airy the crust was. For me, the real winner were the hot wings. Not overly saucy and the they had just the right amount of heat. Meh pizza was okay, kinda run down area border line Azusa/Covina area, yes they put a lot of cheese and toppings but the sauce is bland and the dough is just Watever nothing special. They do have good deals on specials but you get what you pay for. And yes the Indian guy that owns it is rude and does make things with his hands without gloves while touching other things, seen it while waiting for my order. The only thing I would come back here for would be the wings they are really good and spicy and cooked perfectly. But wouldent come back for their pizza. This review is a long time waiting, we love to oder there largest pizza which barely fits in the back of my dad's Scion XB, it can serve 10-15 hungery adults and is about $27 if you want extra toppings is $5 more for that size pizza and they don't skimp on the toppings :) Sometimes for a smaller crowd/family we will order a large meat lovers and it's great 1 slice will fill me and it's not gressy at all which is my biggest complaint with pizza. The owner is great and will cary out the pizza to your car. I always call in my order ahead of time and usually can pick it up in 30min or less. Santa's Pizza didn't close, it just moved. Kinda odd when you consider they left their signage and no forwarding message or anything at their odd address on Lark Ellen. Anyways it's true, they are here now. So I phoned in an order for a 16" pizza and when I got there the owner had made me 2 pizzas and wanted 25 bucks. I said but I only ordered one. So after a very brief discussion he gave me both pizzas for a flat 20 bucks which was a decent deal, even tho I really didn't need 2 pizzas. But I have weird luck with this place like the time he sold me the 28 inch pepperoni and extra cheese for 15 bucks because someone had skipped out on their order. That was a deal that lasted a few days. Santa's uses fresh ingredients which is key. Their pizzas are pretty good. My favorite is the big 28 inch supreme which comes in at 43 bucks. That's expensive considering if I have friends over I'll have to get something else for them. That pizza is all mine! Right now they are offering a 2 pieces of pizza and a soda for 2 bucks. That's a crazy deal and keeps the place crowded with kids. But it is cheap and I do like me some cheapie deals. The place has no delivery. You'll have to get off your fat ass and go get it yourself. We found Santa's on Yelp. We were visiting my mom in Covina and wanted some good pizza so we went to Santa's. We were very pleasantly surprised. It looks like a hole in the wall. Very plain to no décor and it seems mostly pick up only. The man who I think is the owner is super duper nice. We got a large pizza with 2 toppings for about $14! and it was excellent!! I am a fan of pizza. I mean i would eat it everyday if i could. i went in to Santa's expecting so much because of the reviews. Living near the area i wasnt sure how i could have missed this place. But then i went in. It wasnt a terrible place. The people were nice the service was good. i ordered to go and my pizza was ready when i got there. Unfortunately, i was left unsatisfied. The sauce was lacking in flavor and was kinda generic...the bread was too thick and also lacked flavor. The toppings were minimal except for the cheese, and i LOVE cheese, but it wasnt balanced with the amount of toppings it was missing. For the price i guess i got what i paid for.
