Sante Cocktail Bar & Lounge has a stylish atmosphere with beautiful décor and a friendly staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cocktails were well-made and enjoyable, although they are definitely on the pricier side. The overall vibe leans toward a luxury nightlife scene where many guests seem to enjoy showcasing their lifestyle. There was plenty of bottle service, and I noticed bartenders clipping cash tips to their clothing, which seemed to highlight generous tippers and added to the flashy atmosphere. It wasn't necessarily a negative, but it definitely contributes to the type of experience the lounge is going for. To me, Sante feels like it's aiming for a blend of a Miami lounge and a New York City nightlife vibe, right in Houston. The DJ kept the music going, though I thought it was just okay. If you're looking for an upscale place to dress up, enjoy good cocktails, and experience a high-energy, luxury nightlife scene, Sante is worth checking out. If you're looking for a more laid-back cocktail lounge, the atmosphere may not be the best fit.

Vibe: Grown and sexy. Heels required for the ladies. $10 valet Drinks: Our bartender killed it. The cocktail "The Dream" was amazing. Highly recommend. 9/10. Fruits of the earth was huge but tasted like juice (came with a little show). A little too big to be holding.

Sante is a chic, cocktail bar/lounge located in Upper Kirby neighborhood. It's best to probably uber here or they have valet service as well. The ambiance is very lively and always a good time. I've been here a couple times for happy hour and at night as well. Service is actually really good for a bar that's always busy. The waitresses check in often and bring drinks quickly. I've tried the picante drink, fruits of earth (pineapple and pass fruit mix so it's sweet), an expresso martini here. I enjoyed it all! The happy hour specials are a great way to try out the menu $7 cocktails, $5 martinis, discounted caviar service at $47. It's a great place for happy hour with friends or a stop when out bar hopping around town.

As soon as you walk in, the place is absolutely amazing- so beautiful! We went around 7:30 PM, and it was just getting started, with great music, a lively crowd, and awesome energy at the bar. The service from the moment you walk in is superb. Sophia (front person staff) helped us out and was very knowledgeable, showing us all the seating options indoors and even walking us outside. Lauren was also fantastic, introducing us to both the drinks and the food and making you have a very unique experience! And Alex, our bartender, was absolutely great. The music was a total vibe, loud enough to enjoy, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation (live Dj). I highly recommend sitting at the bar; the service feels more personal, and it's a great way to meet people. Parking was a little confusing at first, but we figured it out. Valet is only $10, which is super convenient, but you can also find street parking around the restaurant if you prefer. Overall, the place is amazing, the food is great, the drinks were amazing and the staff made the experience even better. Houston, you've got a real gem in your city.

Sante!!! Wow, I had such an incredible experience here for a Friday HH. I did not make a reservation, but it was a chilly afternoon around 5:00pm and decided to take my chances. We were directed to a high top, and the vibe was exactly what I was hoping for. It was lively without feeling chaotic. Think large bar, beautiful chandeliers, great energy but not clubby. It felt like the perfect spot for a little date or an early evening with the girls where you actually want to get dressed up and have a real conversation. The HH is a win. Five dollar mini martinis and ten dollar flatbreads felt more than fair and fun to explore the menu. The lychee martini and the espresso martini were both standouts. The staff was fun, conversational, and elevated the experience by bringing over a few complimentary drinks for us to try, which made it feel extra special. I chose to valet for ten dollars just to keep things easy, and for the location and overall experience it felt fair. If I had one small note, it would be that the cocktails lean more flavor forward than alcohol strong. After a few, I did not necessarily feel like I had been drinking much, which wasn't a bad thing (they are just that smooth and easy to sip!). I cannot wait to come back and experience it again, but highly recommend as an early happy hour stop to kick off your evening!

CUTEST AMBIENCE EVER My absolute favorite thing about this place is how they put the flowers in their cocktails to dress it up ... the cutest thing ever! And then they LIGHT IT UP. For food, the flatbreads were so dayum DELICIOUS. We got the Frida - chorizo hit the spot omg! The guacamole was spectacular as always - the pomegranate seeds made it especially sPeCiAl. I definitely am looking forward in returning - to try their hazelnut brown butter bourbon. It's forever on my mind hahaha.

Santé on a Friday night is a vibe! It's sophisticated and lively. Our bartender was absolutely phenomenal. She is truly exceptional at her craft. Our cocktails were amazing. Make sure you come dressed appropriately. The dress code is strictly enforced.

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. I ordered the pepperoni cauliflower flatbread and a lychee martini during happy hour The ambiance & decor of Santé was also nice. I would recommend dressing up. A few friends says it's a nice vibe in the evening so I plan to go back.

First off....learn about tequilas & whiskeys/bourbons! Because for the price of a drink the words 'Jim Beam' should never be uttered! Let's start with - recommended by our dinner waitress.... NO parking so $10 to valet required.... It was about $25 a drink and my margarita was served the old fashioned champagne stems (yesterday the ones that hold 4 oz of liquid).....for $25? And it wasn't even that great and their tequila selection was sub par for a typical bar. Then my husband orders an old fashioned and had 3 whiskeys/bourbons to chose from (JB, Woodford, or Bullet) that's it????? The ambience could have been cool, the decor and design inside and on the patio was awesome. But we had one drink and said let's leave! Neither was worth $50 and at that price & size you would have to spend $300 each to even get a buzz.

Hopefully not too soon to speak, but this is probably one of the top bars in Houston right now. Women get in, but men usually need to pay to get in. Reserving a table costs an arm and a leg, but that's the price of being Houston bougie. Atmosphere is beautiful. The bar is beautiful, the DJ area is beautiful, the people are beautiful, and it feels like a tropical escape in the patio area. The food is meh, but not bad. Tends to be very busy on weekends. Valet parking is a lot, but there are a lot of side streets as well to attempt parking. Always an enjoyable experience here. House music overall with an occasional violinist!

In my opinion, Sante is the most beautiful bar in Houston. The space is dreamy & chic, the ambiance is grown & sexy. It was my first time here. Upon walking in we noticed the bar seats were all taken, not surprising ofcourse for a Saturday night. We didn't have a reservation but the hosts were very kind and accomodating and were able to offer us a table for two. The presentation of their cocktails is impressive but they are also strong (no skimping on alcohol here) and the food was delicious! We ordered a flat bread and it was bigger than I expected but fresh & so glad we ordered it. I believe there may be time limits on tables, not sure if that's everyday or just weekends but we were asked to close out our tab for the next party maybe after an hour & a half. I didn't mind as we were lucky to even get a table without a reservation but a heads up would've been nice so we could've ordered quicker & had more time to enjoy our food and drinks. The DJ was great, we thouroghly enjoyed the music and mixes, they even have a violinist, Jacob, and he is amazing!! He serenaded me and although I am probably old enough to be his mom he sure made me feel special. This was by far the highlight of my night. Jacob is very talented and certainly adds to the charm at Sante. The valet was busy when we arrived but especially when we left, we must've waited 15 minutes on our car. Nonetheless, our experience was great and I will certainly be back!

Super vibey, upscale spot to grab top notch, IG worthy drinks. Vibe is more bougie/loungey/sophisticated so get your cute clothes on. We visited on saturday night post dinner. I snagged reservations in advanced which require a deposit. (The deposit can be refunded or applied towards the bill). The biggest question for me was where to reserve -- so your options -- Overall the space is not giant so you won't be missing out on anything at any of the spots -- first choice is in or out (in my mom's mom voice)!! --- Inside - - loungey/moody vibes with a dj type music. --- Outside -- super cute but more like rooftop bar vibes (minus the rooftop) you can't really here what's going on inside but they have music of course. Lots more causal sitting and ability to move around -- Verde Room tables - these are kinda out of the main room vibes. Good if you want to just be with your crew or maybe entertaining a group so you can focus -- Fire place - cozy spots for more of a date night vibe. Near the entrance so could feel a little in the way -- Olive tree table - i really liked this spot. cozy but more space for a crew and still in the mix. Super cute. High tops -- these area is at the furthest end of the indoor space closest to the patio. Nice for like friend group vibes and would give you bit of a vantage point. DJ - kinda a long couch so cool but not if you are trying to chat with the crew. more like observe in a line Patio -- see above. worth checking out. we actually ended up out here because we were cold inside. A must see - - get the crew, snag the resys and get your fancy drinks on!

The outdoor area is very cute for pictures. There are cabana's on the side as well for reservations, and fans to keep you cool!

I stopped by on a Sunday around 6 p.m. While I Uber'd, I know that you can find free street parking in the area despite it often being busy. Ambiance (3.5/5): The Davenport was packed even on a Sunday evening. To the point where no seats were available. Luckily for me, about 10 minutes in, the lady next to me left so I was able to snag a seat at the bar. There are also high tops and a small patio out front. The Davenport is a pretty chill establishment, but one with a loyal following. Service (4/5): A full bar usually means service issues. There was a component of that here. It took a little while to order my drink and later to get the bartender's attention to close my tab. Given how popular The Davenport is, your experience will likely be the same. Luckily, they make up for it by going above and beyond with their cocktails. I'll get to that in a second. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet, and to be honest, while I'm not 100%, I don't think they have food. There was a guy walking around selling boudin though right when I was about to leave. Drinks (4.5/5): The Davenport is known for their martinis so that's what I recommend going with. It's a The Cheesecake Factory-type menu with 40 or so martinis to choose from. Paradox of choice situation. I ended up going with the gummy bear which was a solid cocktail, although a bit too sweet for my taste. Here's what makes Davenport next level... their martinis pack a punch. I always appreciate a stiff drink. And on top of that, they often give you more than your cocktail in a martini glass. There's usually quite a bit leftover so they'll pour that in another glass for you. Basically a drink and a half for the price of one! Given the strength of the cocktails and the quantity, it's definitely a good deal. The Davenport has been around for a while and has become a well-known spot. I'm glad I finally got to cross it off the list. After you down a martini or two, there's an Irish pub right next door and Trill Burger right across the street.

Vibe was a good entire time as they started playing some R&B/hiphop... the crowd slowly trickled in. By the time we left it was almost packed! We had a really nice little table near the front so got to see alot of regulars come in. The bartender even gave us a round of shots on the house for being our first time. My profile: 40s, grown and sexy, open to trying new food in the city and I like an elevated dining environment and based on the clientele, the crowd skewed younger than my group **Greeting Area: Patrons enter front-and-rear pass-through elevator; It is a small area which got stacked up with people waiting for their table. You are greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and you are given a 15 min. grace period for your table, before your reservation is cancelled, per my friend. We waited a bit because I was 13 minutes late, delaying the seating of our party - when we were seated, the place was not full, so I'm curious why we had to wait. **Food: The food was hot and well-prepared. Nothing was overly salty and the side sauce on the kebobs was a perfect complement to flavor - I didn't have the burger that my friend had but he described it as flavorful and the fries looked very crispy and perfectly made **Ambience: You have two hours to eat from when the orders are put into the system - this always irks me because you feel like you're on a conveyor belt and rushed to eat. For $30 chicken kebobs, can I have a moment? But, I have a theory...the volume of the music helps to "bump" you right on out the door and speeds up your eating - it was too loud and made it hard for us to hear the server, much less the convo at the table. The place is not vented, nor are these hookah-ers seated on the patio. **Decor: They were missing the brunchspot "flower wall", however, floral decor was abounding - there was nice furniture in the "regency style" was mixed with modern elements; it was tasteful but we need to do a good wipedown and dusting of windows, mirrors and lighting - I took a mirror selfie which had a giant smudge mark **Service: Aliyah was our server and she was very personable and she had a very welcoming spirit. We ordered some beverages and additional sauces, which were never delivered when the restaurant started to fill up and we ultimately cancelled them --Glows: Great service, good app (the wings), front end staff was pleasant and took a photo of our group, good/hot food --Grows: Wipe down the glass leading to the restroom (VISIBLE and clear smudges from people touching the glass), clean the chandeliers, clear out the (kitchen?) smoke from the men's room, allow for an approved list of side item subs (rice or fries/mashed potatoes, etc.), stop charging for 2 additional ozs. of sauce for the food - the food cost doesn't justify this "nickel and diming", don't serve a chipped or broken plate to a customer: THROW IT OUT (details make the difference) Hacks: Park on the 2nd level and enter through the front-and-rear pass-through elevator to get to the restaurant, get two hours of free parking at the front desk The verdict: I think it's a one-and-done. Great potential, great product but I'll leave this for the youngins.
