I am updating my rating as low as allowed. I could tell when this place changed owners just by looking at my food. The first bite was one of the more disappointing moments in my life. I used to crave some of Santinis' pasta dishes something fierce, but after two times ordering food I couldn't even eat, I gave up and took my business across the street to Olive Tree. I wish people who know nothing about the restaurant business would stop buying good ones and running them into the ground. Farewell former Santini's! I miss you:( read more

We started to order and they appeared to have trouble with there paying systems, we finally ordered, English not primary language, after 60 dollars my wife got her food and one of my sides, then I waited 10 minutes for my entrée and they forgot my fries so another 5 minutes later I finally got all the food I ordered, my wife was about done hers so I took all of my food home and will not go there again! read more

The people that work there are road . i ordered a cheesesteak and was incorrect and tried to lie to me about what comes on a cheesesteak. When they finally redelivered my order the cheesesteak was very dry and cheese not melted. While on a business trip in the area, a coworker and I decided to give Santini's a try for dinner. In one word: average. The pizza itself was pretty good. The price ($18 for 16") was reasonable and although I prefer a more crisp crust, the mix of ingredients - sauce, cheese, pepperoni and ham - was satisfactory. The one big negative was speed of service: 35 minutes for the pizza! I suspect our order got lost/misplaced in the queue. It's unlikely I would visit again as I'm aware of better places for pizza ... and faster service. read more

I watched the two counter girls contaminate the pizza sitting on the display counter. They placed their hand bags and cell phones next to the unprotected pizza on the counter. They both had just come to work and went to the counter to work. Neither one washed their hands beforehand. When this was pointed out, no one cared. We ordered a chicken cheese steak and received a regular cheese steak. When we called the restaurant, the manager couldn't care less. He did not apologize. His response was "don't touch it we are about to close we will send you one." Trying to support local businesses and both the husband and I were hungry for Italian so we placed a take out order due to corona. First time we've eaten or ordered from this local restaurant. Ordered 1 dinner size order of Lasagna and 1 dinner size order of Spaghetti with meatballs. Food was ready at the appointed time. The Lasagna and the Spaghetti were very good. The salad's were o.k. but nothing to write home about (but then it's salad so what do you expect?). Both meals came with "bread" as noted in the menu. The bread was a single, blah, dinner roll. I expected at least a slice or two of garlic bread since it's a Italian restaurant. Fortunately I had the foresight to add garlic knots onto the order. They were delicious. Note that with a single order of garlic knots, price $1.99, you get three (just you so know how big the order is). Can't address the sit down service since it was a take out order. But the food we ordered was pretty good. read more

Definitely not the best pizza, pasta or salad around the area. The only upside to this place are the very friendly girls who work there. Otherwise it's mediocre, very thin pizza, bland pasta and wilted salad. (Even the ranch wasn't right.) If business is bad, it's not due to construction. read more

I got their Chesapeake pizza and all I can say is Wow. The crust is thin New York style pizza, which is my personal favorite. The pizza has a crab dip type of sauce with plenty of crab and shrimp on top. I topped my pizza with a little Old Bay seasoning and...perfecto. Love it! read more

Don't expect your food. After waiting over an hour after making my order, I called them for an update. The girl on the phone said their online ordering has issues, and it is a known problem. Yeah? MAYBE PUT THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE OR GET RID OF THE ABILITY TO ORDER ONLINE. Then the manager says they are aware of the order and it's busy because it's a Friday. Fine, I can buy that lie.... but then the manager calls back 30 minutes later (so it's like 90 minutes after the initial order) and he says the order never came through. Went to try Santinis last night! The prices seemed a little high, and we were disappointed when our food came out. The bruschetta was very good, and the salads came out quick. The chicken Parmesan wasn't very good at all and the sauce was very tangy. The chicken Alfredo sauce tasted more like butter than Alfredo, it wasn't creamy or cheesy at all. We got canolis to-go and they were definitely fresh and they were delicious! Overall, we weren't that impressed with the food that came out, especially for the price they charged. read more

Crock pot slop.....So I ordered two Santini's Special Steak. Their description looked wonderful and picture was fabulous. We order two 12 inches. I asked for cooked onions.... Couldn't even tell which one, since they looked the same. The meat looked like it had been stuck in a crock pot all day, instead of as the description..."a touch of the special sauce"...more like laying in some type of greasy sauce all day..... I go here maybe once a week for lunch. Today I had the pizza steak. Meat, cheese and sauce very good. The bread could have been fresher but it was a good lunch. The cashier was friendly and I was impressed by how hard she worked. She was very attentive to me even for a single carryout order. Growing up in an Italian home in NY, it's hard to find good calzones but Santini's makes a pretty decent one. And I love that they come in two sizes. Right ratio of mozzarella to ricotta. I'm also a fan of their salads - the one with the roasted red peppers is delish. read more

The food is overall pretty good. However, the prices are expensive and the quantity you get for a pasta meal is laughable. I paid almost twenty bucks for a pasta meal that barely had any pasta in the container (take out). They made a quick buck out of me once but that will never happen again. I would encourage that you ask to see your food before paying -- plain and simple. read more

I was really excited to check this place out since Aberdeen is sorely lacking in anything other than fast food. But alas...The food was bland. I got a pasta with scallops and shrimp and there was just no flavor to it at all. My friend was equally unimpressed with her slice of pizza. It wasn't awful but it wasn't worth the $18-something I paid for it. I could've paid less at Red Lobster for a similar pasta. The waitress was nice enough but we were a little grossed out by the fact that she went from having a smoke break to bringing a neighboring table their food - in too short an amount of time to have washed her hands. Ordered delivery from here a couple of weeks ago. Delivery time was decent, that's about all that was good. I ordered the "Sausage Sub", which for $10 I expected actual italian sausage to be used. Instead, what I got was a very small amount of cheap sausage (with the consistency of summer sausage or keilbasa) cut up into tiny pieces and drenched in marinara sauce and topped with cheese. However, it was very disappointing this time when it took almost 1 1/2 hours to receive delivery and they did nothing to make it right. The pizza was barely warm. I even called after an hour to check on our order, and the employee I spoke with only said they were very busy and only had 1 driver. It was coming. This is hands down the best pizza in the area. The crust is perfect, and I love how they do their toppings - the mushrooms and spinach are sautéed in garlic and olive oil - so yummy! The menu is quite extensive, and it's nice to have specialty pastas and dinners delivered! The scallops with angel hair pasta were delicious, as was the Gorgonzola salad with chicken - with a tasty blueberry dressing.
