arrachera nachos were amazing. Meat cooked medium and great taste. Chilaquiles were good... Jamaica is good.... Alittle pricey for my pockets but atleast give it a try once..... Food is good.

While in Imperial Beach for another event recently, I made a stop at Santo Placer for a meal before heading back north. I don't know what the previous establishment was, but the standalone building had a large on-site parking lot which is always beneficial. The inside decor was beautiful, highlighted by a faux tree with white flowers in the middle of the dining room. The ambiance was pretty fancy for Mexican cuisine. Brunch was being served during my weekend visit so only half of the menu was available. A Culichi Omelet was what I chose for an entree. The filling was shrimp and mozzarella cheese topped with culichi sauce made up of roasted poblano peppers, jalapeno, and garlic. A green salad and a scoop of Mexican rice came as sides to the dish. The shrimp were concentrated on one side of the omelet with four pieces total. The creamy sauce was the star of the show. Tortillas were also provided but for unknown reasons, the corn variety was complimentary while there was a surcharge if I wanted flour-based wraps. The biggest issue I encountered was the preparation time. The kitchen took at least 20 minutes before the item was brought to my table even though the place was less than half full. The prices were on the high side, however that reflected the more upscale nature of the restaurant. My waitress was very polite and helpful in answering the questions I had about the menu offerings. I gave a 3.5 star rating for my dining experience at Santo Placer.

Since the moment I heard about this place, it automatically went on my list. Santo Placer was really a pleasure, our server was attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was amazing and well presented, the guava margaritas were a little bit on the sweeter side, still enjoyable.

I don't like writing bad reviews because experiences can vary, but I will say I enjoyed my self here and my reviews are purely based on my own experience. I'll keep it short & sweet. Pros: Great service, good drinks, music? Cons: Ridiculous prices, loud music, terrible sewage odor in the restroom area.

`Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices". I've been to many restaurants, but this one stands out for its incredible food, outstanding service, and cozy atmosphere. The best guava Margarita!!!!

The overall look and decor of this place is really nice, decorated beautifully with several tv screens playing music around the establishment. Came here on a weekend and it was a little busy. Our service was a little slow but it might have been on account of how busy it was. Ordered the chicharron and guacamole, along with the pancakes, eggs Benedict, and chipotle shrimp. The guacamole was delicious! Tried the pancakes and those were really good. My brother ordered the eggs Benedict and said they were some of the best he's ever eaten. My chipotle shrimp dish was ok. Overall I liked everything about this place and the only negative was that the service was a little slow. They've really made this a nice dining restaurant in the Southbay area compared to the Pizza Hut that used to be here.

It is located inside the Growler Sports Bar, close to the lobby. The host at Growler showed us the entrance, and since we arrived right at opening time, we were able to choose any seating we liked. They have a great cocktail menu. I tried the Brunch Bootleg and the Pink Lady, and both were delicious. What I also loved is that they can create off menu cocktails based on your preferred flavor profile, making the experience feel even more personalized. They also have a few off list draft beer options for only $10. There are three parking options available: valet for $30, self parking at the hotel for $20, or free 3 hour self parking across the street.

There were 6 of us. The gal who was doing security gave us menus and said the bartender would be by and they do table service. She gave us menus but no water. We waited for more than 10 minutes and watched two bartenders behind the bar never come over, not even greet us, bring us water, say "hey I will be with you" ... nothing. And they weren't rushed or slammed, nobody was ordering, they just didn't come out to us or even look at us, bring us waters, nothing. And by the way, their menu is disgustingly overpriced. $25 cocktails (very basic) Average cost for a GLASS OF WINE.. $30-$55 per POUR. for a mid af $100 bottle of wine lol. 55 dollars per glass of wine and we could not get an acknowledgment whatsoever. We ended up getting up and leaving and as we were walking out the bartender ran over (super quick btw, so he does have legs) and said hey where are you guys going, and we said we're leaving and he said "I was gonna come over right now" It was so cringe like he was chasing a tip from us since we had a medium size party. Not worth the hype, not worth the reviews, the influencers who post about this place probably worked something out with the management or hotel because this place is a total miss. Not even a swing and a miss. I can't say enough bad things about it.

After the Brazil match, we arrived early for Mexico vs. England but found all tables reserved. We waited outside for an hour with no staff assistance, then went to the bar. The bar lacks organization, sometimes you order directly, other times you have to wait for a server. I asked a manager, Jimmy, for clarification, but he ignored me and waved me away like I was an inconvenience. Despite an almost empty bar, no one helped until a bartender told a server to take my order. We've always enjoyed Novo, but this experience was disappointing. Decent food and decent atmosphere can't make up for poor service, especially from management. Jimmy, I hope you improve your operational organization and professionalism.
