My mum comes here for flowers. I finally came in. It was packed for Mother's Day. I asked the security if I was going through the correct entrance. He was very helpful. I walked into the store, no one greeted me or said hello. I wandered around the store. I had to be the first one to say hello to the man working in the cooler. I asked a woman about a price of flowers in the cooler and she was very rude and short with her attitude towards me .. she must've realized she was being rude because she started to become a little more friendly when she realized how poorly she was treating me she let me go in the back and see the flowers in the cooler. There were no prices on anything and I didn't want to keep asking her. The flowers were kept in the hot warehouse on a 98° day. I would not recommend buying flowers here, you will be very disappointed. Also they are very unwelcoming and rude! if you are not from this area , stay away I could tell she did not want to do business with me by her cool attitude , I would steer clear of this establishment if I had given -0 I would.My husband works in Santa Ana. I was in a rush to make a order for the following day, my usual vendor ran out of white roses so the next closes was Santos Flowers. The place is nice, organize amazing service the only that has always thrown it off for me is the flower quality. I came in today and all the roses where opening looked like they wanted to break out of the wrapping. I tried picking the most decent ones but unfortunately it wasn't my luck, they were close, weak and not good taken care of. I was in the Santa Ana area and needed a flower arrangement for a friend in hospital so it was a little last minute. I came across Santos Flowers which was a huge building and had ample parking across the street of a supermarket so it was easy to get to on a weekday afternoon. While I wasn't sure if I wanted a full flower arrangement or a plant I walked in an was struck by the fresh smell of fresh flowers since its a large warehouse sort of building there were flowers and arrangements wall to wall and in rows of arrangements to choose from. As I began to browse, a very kind female associate approached me to offer help but I didn't need any yet. I found a large array of New Years good luck bamboo planters in various sizes with cute little elephants on it and chose one which seemed perfect for my friend. The prices were great for the planters ranging from $15-35 and really nice for the price. I chose one and a make associate at the register boxed it up for me along with a card holder for the little well wishing card. It was perfect! The plant and this flower shop were perfect. I will certainly be back for more since everything was so fresh, prices are great and so were the people. Please do NOT use Santos Flowers for any event centerpieces. I had been going to Santos Flowers to purchase flower bouquets throughout the years and decided to use them for my wedding centerpieces. The man (I think named Carlos) that assisted us prepared a sample centerpiece with flowers that I hand-picked at their store. He did a nice job with the sample centerpiece and wrote down every single flower name he used on the sample. We paid him for the sample arrangement and a deposit. I went back a second time to pay the remaining balance and asked him to make a few adjustments to the centerpieces. I told him we will pay extra as long as they used more ivory roses. I paid him the extra fee and he revised the invoice. The day before my wedding, Santos Flowers delivered my centerpieces to my reception venue, and I had my family assist in unloading the flowers. Five minutes later, I noticed the flowers on the centerpieces were not at all what I asked for and what was on my invoice. I called Santos Flowers and the man that had initially assisted me said they could not do anything about their mistake. However, they were willing to send the driver back to pick up the flowers and fix the issue if I would pay another delivery fee. I refused to pay a delivery fee when it was their mistake. I decided to go in-person to the store and speak with the man that had initially assisted us in preparing the sample centerpiece. He was extremely rude and said they did not want to help me with fixing their mistake unless I paid more for the delivery fee. I showed him the picture of the sample centerpieces and the ones that I received. They ended up using cheaper flowers on my centerpieces and it looked less full. Then I showed him the invoice that showed I paid for specific flowers. He asked that I leave the store. I asked if they can at least give me the flowers that I had paid for on the invoice and I told him I would fix it myself. He refused. I asked to speak with the owner, but he said the owner did not want to help me with their mistake. At the end, he did NOT offer an apology and only gave me a dozen roses to fix 12 centerpieces and my main sweetheart table flowers as well. I am extremely disappointed and had to use the centerpieces that were provided. The flowers were droopy and not as full as the initial sample I was given. It was too late to fix. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the headache. No bride deserves to be dealing with unprofessional vendors who do not treat their loyal customers with respect.
