This place has a lot ta offer, but the real prize is the price on fuel. The service I have had Al every hour of the day and night these past 8 years has been above the norm. The trademark or logo is a coffee pot. That in itself is a good enough reason to stop there. Plus there is a terrific coffee bar with some nice flavor selections. But there is more... It's a convenience store, a fuel station, a full service truck stop, a restaurant, a gift shop. This place is clean, well-maintained and provides fast friendly service plus a good cup of hot coffee. You'll find there is easy on/off access from interstate 215. Fuel, coffee or both, this is a good choice for a road stop. read more

I between loads and hung out here for a few days. Food is good in cafe. Out waitress Holly is great ( a few others not so much-slow). Great salad bar and homemade soups. Banana bread is one of Sapp Bros specialty's although we were just in Denver & they do it better there. Bigger pieces moister and warm when u get it. The Cobb salad with warm grilled chicken is really good here and the steak salad too. Breakfasts I think are a little too greasy but ok. Nice c store , Burger King inside and now a coffee place for tourists and locals. Oh yeah and by the way the upstairs has a Dentist plus a great Chiropractor. read more

The only thing I can say about this place is that it desperately needs help. It is in a "gem" of a location attached to a truck stop. The restaurant seems nice, clean and with good spacious dining room for patrons. But the problem lies with management and staff!!! With proper staff this could be an awesome restaurant. I have been here twice once just last week and the other about a year and half ago. I see the same issues. Understaffed! My husband and I walked into the restaurant which had dirty tables everywhere. We found a place to sit but it had not been bussed yet. Once we saw the waitress about 4 to 5 minutes after sitting down she explained that she was the only one there and it would be a minute. (Okay) My husband and I grabbed menus ourselves and began looking them over. Literally 5 minutes or so later she came to get our drink order. More truckers and local patrons began to come in. This was going from bad to worse! We ended up leaving as did a few other customers once they realized the dire straits this restaurant was serving. I do not blame the waitress because she really was trying. Do people not wish to work anymore? Maybe the staff or wages offered on the "underpaid" scale. I do not know but I really wish management would get this right. Will I go back for a third time? Only if I began to see reviews from this location go up on YELP. Otherwise, there are many other restaurants wanting a dollar from a paying customer. read more

Now called "Apple Barrel " This cafe has had several renovations in as many years and it's never any better. The food was horrible and even the coffee was gross. There was only one waitress/cashier but there was only 5 customers. She was very inattentive and forgetful. It took 15 minutes for her to get me my check when I asked, then she walked away and it took 30 minutes for her to come back and run my card, because she just walked away from everyone and started doing different tasks. First time I have been here in years. It's now an Apple Barrel. When I walked in, there were several meals that hadn't been bussed. It wasn't very busy. I sat at the counter and after about 15 minutes the waitress noticed me and asked if I had been helped. I told her no and she brought me a menu. She took my order and my food arrived about 30 minutes later. The food was fine, but the entrée wasn't what I ordered and she forgot to bring me a side. She corrected the problem and I finally got to finish my meal. Bottom line is that the food was okay, but the service was severely lacking. Had I been in a hurry, I would have left before the food arrived. Not impressed. read more

We came by just to get away from the house, and "talk story" with some fam.... I ordered the chicken fried steak which I wasn't a big fan of.... However, their hot chocolate is nice. :) The girl was cute, and had great service even though we came buggin her at midnight. read more

On the evening of July 29th my husband and I visited your restaurant. I have to say that I was thoroughly unimpressed. The waitress we had was beyond rude and could have cared a less that we were even there. We were not the only customer that she was rude to. There was a man sitting at the counter eating his dinner, minding his own business when another man started harassing him. Finally the first man turned and told the other customer to leave him alone and that he just wanted to eat his dinner in peace. The waitress then came over and told the gentleman that he should be nice to the other customer because he was one of the regulars. She was wrong to say that and the other man should have just left him be. Well the manager came by and wanted to see what the problem was and he of course took the waitresses side. My husband and I just sat and watched this whole thing transpire and have come to conclusion's that we will never set foot at any of your establishments. If this is the way you are going to treat your customers I would rather go elsewhere. read more

Sapp Bros is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to stop. The employees at this location are so friendly and welcoming. They have a huge hot bar with roller grills, tamales, soups and chilis, burritos, and pizzas. They also have a cooler case with some simple sandwiches and subs. I haven't tried the restaurant inside, but the stuff they put on the hot bar and in the cooler looks pretty appetizing. Lots of knick knacks you really won't find at a Pilot or TA, and they even carry the She Wee and portable toilet seats here. There's a dentist and a smoke shop at this location, as well as a Burger King and a Beans and Brew coffee place. The coffee place has coffees comparable to Caribou and are a little on the pricier side, but it is a truck stop. My only real complaint is that this location doesn't have the heated toilet seats. But the bathrooms are a decent size and clean, so that's what really matters. read more

Wow. where to begin? I tried breakfast at the cafe, but I won't be back. The silverware they gave me was not fully clean from the last customer. I had the 8.99 breakfast buffet. I have had much better at Denny's for 3.99. The food looked (and tasted) like it had sat in the warming table a little too long. The chile verde was kind of a gray color and did not look appetizing. The gravy for the biscuits had a crust over the top like it had sat there for hours. (This was 8:00 am). The potatoes were soggy, as were the sausage links. The bacon was OK, but everything else didn't look worth touching. The wait staff seemed pretty decent, but the food was the worst. read more
