    Greek Spaghetti

The Greeks know everybody , and if they don't know you, give it five minutes. It's cozy, and charming in that "grandpa's favorite diner" way. Come for the food, stay because someone's uncle has already started telling you his life story.

    Side of French toast! Delicious!!

We had such a great time last month, so we came back today! The food and service are great!! You can tell they really care about their customers! Great vibe!! I got pretty much the same thing as before, hot tea, over easy eggs, hash browns and a side of French toast. Everything was perfectly cooked!! Hash browns were nice and crispy! My husband got coffee and the veggie hash bowl with white toast this time. Good size portion. He ended up with a to-go box. Will definitely come back next time we have a day off.

Dolmathes plate. Also came with a salad or soup and baklava.

Attentive, helpful, friendly service. Extremely clean! Good selection on the menu of both breakfast and lunch/dinner items. Very reasonable prices. We ordered a Greek salad, which was large, flavorful, and fresh. And the dolmathes plate which had so much food it was out of this world. In addition to the plate pictured it also included a salad or soup and a large piece of baklava.

Seated quickly and received drinks quickly. Georgia took well to my boyfriend's banter, even battled back! Haha! Bacon and eggs with one having a side of toast and one a side of French toast. I generally don't like French toast, but I ate theirs! Small business that met the expectations when there are so many breakfast places around. Peanut butter bars to go were great also!

There's a back patio that's surrounded by trees offering ample shade and a quiet, pleasant dining experience (some nights during the summer there is live music). The menu boasts a variety of primarily American comfort foods (soups, steak, salmon, meatloaf, etc.), but salads and tacos are also options. And don't skimp on the dessert -- the chocolate malt pudding is famous and is quite tasty. The service was also terrific -- very friendly and attentive throughout! I ordered two pancakes in a stack and was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to finish them because they were quite large! Needless to say... I finished with ease and was quite proud of myself! The pancakes were fresh, fluffy, and spongy. The perfect combination... Exactly what a pancake should be! My only regret is that I didn't try multiple flavors of cake cakes. Endless refill on coffee that was unexpectedly excellent quality. No need to rely heavily on creamer to mask that burned taste from a communal, industrial pot. She advised us portions were large so we opted to split the pot of gold breakfast with half gravy and half chile verde. They plated it, as well as our split heavenly hot cakes, separately. We upgraded our pancakes to have bananas, caramel, and whipped cream, and they generously portioned said toppings on *both of our plates*. And holy god was that whipped cream delicious. I only wish their space was bigger and tables were less cramped, what with the plates, coffee cups, and sauces.

A Place That Fails on Every Level, Safety, Integrity, and Basic Care…read more I've eaten here multiple times and every visit left me, my friends and family feeling physically ill. Why? Because they use cheap low quality canola oil and it shows both on the palate and in the body. But the deeper issue isn't just what's in the food. It's what's rotting beneath the surface. A close friend of mine Brittney (17 and under age in this experience) reached out to the owner to explore a collaborative business opportunity. Instead of professionalism she was met with a shocking invitation to hot tub together. Completely inappropriate and wildly unprofessional. Even more disturbing are the longstanding sexual allegations against kitchen staff he's kept on for years. Employees are routinely fired often for things they didn't do while the owner claims surveillance cameras prove it. Yet those cameras never seem to catch actual wrongdoing. Convenient isn't it. Meanwhile he creates a culture of fear instability and dismissal. People are disposable. Boundaries are not respected whether in the kitchen or in conversation. This isn't just a bad dining experience. This is a pattern of neglect abuse of power and willful ignorance. I urge you support businesses that respect people, employees, customers and community. This is not one of them.

However, additional details create a loving connection - it's off-Broadway central location, the copper-paneled ceiling that mimics warm conversations in varied spaces (cocktail, chef's counter, expandable tables for groups, and outdoor), fresh, locally-sourced ingredients with service to match. It's the place where I had my first glass of Turley Zinfandel (education alongside), and the place I will always return for my favorite Wagyu Beef Stroganoff (a comfort from home, but upscale). This one delivered with large, firm, expertly seasoned portobello & forest mushrooms over wide, freshly handmade pappardelle pasta that soaks up rich beef stock (a touch of black pepper) blended with crème fraîche. A generous portion of wagyu is tender and rich. PRO TIP: Mix then let it sit & marinade a minute - flavor pays in dividends. For dessert, a Valhrona Chocolate Pudding topped with whip cream and Maldon flake salt - exquisite, but expensive. The texture is comforting and delicious - olive oil adds a lingering finish with slight fruit.

I informed her that we had a reservation under my name, John, but she simply looked at her list, seemed annoyed, and told us to wait anyway. While we were waiting, we watched several parties of two arrive after us with reservations at 8:10, 8:15, and even 8:20, and they were seated before us. After waiting about 20 minutes, I went back to ask how much longer it would be. I was told it would be another 20 minutes. I reminded Carleigh that we had a reservation, and her response was, "Oh, you did?" She then asked for my full name and phone number, looked up the reservation, apologized, and immediately escorted us to a table that appeared to have been ready the entire time. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Reservations are made so guests don't have to wait behind people who arrive later. It felt like our reservation had been completely ignored until I spoke up a second time. Whether this was poor organization or a lack of attention, the level of service at the front desk was unacceptable. We came looking forward to a nice family dinner, but the experience started with unnecessary frustration and left a very poor first impression. I sincerely hope additional training is provided so this doesn't happen to other guests.
