I went to the grand opening to try their chicken sandwich. They were only serving chicken sandwiches and fries that day. When we went there was a line out the door. When you go in, it was an empty space and just the counter. Maybe this is done on purpose for the event, but would be nice to have some tables and chairs for people to dine in after ordering. The menu and advertisements had inconsistent typos. The chicken sandwich (aka smackwich) wasn't bad. Good portion of chicken, coleslaw, and sauce to give it a good balanced flavor. The fries were standard. The price is comparable to JC prices. You can choose your preferred spice level. We got mild and it was true to taste. I forgot to take a picture of the food, my bad! I recommend if going, getting 2 smackwiches with fries is probably the best value deal they have.

Stopped by on Sunday afternoon to check out the opening of Parsippany's newest addition to our already diverse and fantastic food scene; Saprize Saprize. (As you've probably already figured out the name is a fun misspelling of Surprise Surprise). Quite a turnout, as the lines were long as everyone eagerly awaited their free, introductory Saprise Saprise sandwich. Always a great idea by a new business! We do have a couple of relatively new Hot Chicken joints that have opened in Parsippany, but they all offer a different take on this growing, popular menu. Saprize Saprizre is Chicken and Mediterranean fusion take out, small counter top eatery (no tables) that blends Nashville heat and Mediterranean flavors. Basically a halal/ Mediterranean street food. Besides the aforementioned hot chicken sandwich, the menu included such choices as chicken & gyro platters, falafel & salads, rice platters with spiced meats, and more. Plenty of parking in the Greenhill Plaza on Parsippany road. Best of luck and success to this new addition to Parsippany. 93/29/2026

Lamb, chicken, falafels, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, rice. So much and so yummy!

Saprize Saprize is a big surprising variety of absolutely delicious middle eastern food. The prices are reasonable which is rare these days. The service was great and the vibe is awesome. Great place to stay and eat. You will not be disappointed

The place is spacious despite it being only for takeout, and it has a nice counter. We called our order and it took them 15 minutes to have it ready, which was much appreciated as we were starving! We got the dumplings, basil fried rice, and drunken noodles - it all came out to $32 which is an incredible price for the amount of food we received! The dumplings were okay, not the greatest I've had but not bad. The basil fried rice and drunken noodles were both good, they have a decent amount of chicken and vegetables, and the spice levels were true to what they said! We ordered the rice as spicy (level 1) and the noodles as very spicy (level 2) and they did not disappoint! It is great to know we have a solid Thai place nearby if we want to switch it up from our regular spot.

Super fragrant, colorful, and bursting with flavor. I love the eggplant and assortment of veggies found in every bite. The chicken and beef were both super tender and well-seasoned. The Jasmine rice is aromatic and paired well with the dish. Overall, I was super satisfied! One of the best Thai spots in the area.

We had prompt and very friendly service and once our food was served someone came out from back and watched our reaction - when I looked up their face was questioning like if it was all to our liking and I gave a big smile and a thumbs up - they had a big smile :) We tried a few things. An appetizer with hummus, baba ganouj, falafel, pickled veggies and salad. Hummus just delicious - creamy smooth, baba ganouj was as good as I've had (better than my own homecare) and veggies very good. Falafel deserves a call out on it's own. I'm very picky. I think Egyptian fava bean based is the best but this? YUM. It was chick pea based I think with a lot of parsely or greens and I think it could have been the best I've had. Must have again soon! We had the Kibbeh as well and it was delicious. Lots of food and took much home. For a main course we had Lamb platter and chicken shawarma sandwich. Both beautifully seasoned, moist and delicious. My boyfriend would have preferred the lamb have the sauce on the side but otherwise both were a home run. While traveling through the mid-east, I enjoyed trying everything and I can't remember feeling the real essence of that food except for this restaurant and possibly a few shawarma places in paterson. I think we did it right for this place. Ordering a variety allowed us to really enjoy all the regional flavors. So happy this place has joined the Boonton family of ethnic restaurants.

My go-to is the medium chicken sandwich (which I think is likely the best spice level), with coleslaw on the side as I am not a fan of that. The pickles that come with it are great- make sure you get a lot of extra honey packets to make it even more delicious! I will say, I strongly dislike their fries with the birdies french fry seasoning. I tend to forget and always get it, and never enjoy them- it really kinda ruins them. Try at your own risk of not enjoying the fries! I'd get the regular ones, but they're nothing to speak home about. The loaded fries with chicken tenders are solid (friend enjoys them) but I'd go for the sandwich. Recommend coming here!

I ordered the bird in the bun (sandwich), dusty fries and a side of coleslaw. It is not a saucy chicken, but they put sauce on it The sandwich was really good, but the tender was longer than the bun and there was left over bun as per the chicken to bun ratio. Still a heavy tender tho. Served with coleslaw and pickles inside. The dusty fries reminded me of some desi seasoning, like chaat seasoning or pani puri mix. And the coleslaw was basic, a little too mayo-y for my liking but did the job.

I arrived just before their three o'clock lunch break and was accommodated by their daughter (who was really friendly and kind).
