One of the best Indian Dishes I have ever. I ordered chicken chattinad and Daal Makhani and Garlic naan & (Lamb chop, they just introduced new in menu) all taste great. Great ambience and great customer service..will back with fiends soon . Thanks for such a great meal .

This place I stumbled upon and read a review. I went in to try it at a time few were in the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and I took a recommendation for the main dish and a few add-ons. The garlic naan was amazing and his recommendation for Jasmine rice was spot on. The lamb dish didn't look as I thought it would be. But it was excellent and perfect paired with the naan and rice. Flavors are fresh and perfect for the dish. Not too spicy and full of flavor. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to try or already loves indian cuisine.

I've reviewed a lot of places on Yelp over the years and there are a lot of excellent places I've given five stars...but it's not often I wish I could give SIX stars. Wifey and I decided that we'd get dinner at Spice Route while were staying next door at the Hyatt House during some home renovations. Spice Route offers primarily Indian and Thai meals with a bit of additional Asian fusion with some of the meals. We love Thai and this place really looked interesting (I'm not a huge fan of Indian food, but there are definitely some meals I really enjoy). First off Spice Route offers 15% off for online pickup orders so a built in bonus for us. With that said, we wanted to order extra so I had some meals to bring to work the following week. We started with Shrimp dumplings and Sweet corn soup - Cream of sweet corn, cabbage, and carrots garnished with leaks. We also ordered: Hong Kong chicken - diced chicken with cashews, bell peppers, dry red chilies, and onions in teriyaki sauce Chili garlic fried rice - basmati fried rice with garlic and chili paste, tomato ketchup, and scallions Pad Thai - Medium flat rice noodles with onions, chives and tamarind sauce pad Thai has broccoli tofu carrots and baby corn The Hong Kong Chicken meal was one of the best take out orders I've ever had. Liked it so much I've ordered it 4-5 more times in subsequent visits. The first couple times we went here the service was slow...very slow...but it was at the height of COVID and they turned it around. I highly recommend Spice Route to anyone in the area. My only regret is I never took photos of the food.

I've seen the posts, read the reviews, reviewed the menu and finally paid my first visit to Spice Route melange for some take out. Spice Route ( https://www.spicerouteus.com/online-ordering ) located at 353 Smith Road offers ample parking making it just another great spot to grab lunch or dinner whether you are dinning in or taking out. Their menu offers a great variety of both Indian and Indo-Chinese fusions. For those not familiar with fusion foods, I Iike to describe it as taking two great foods cooking styles that are different, and merging food and cooking techniques into totally new menu items that are rather unique. A good comparison is for those who love chocolate and for those who love peanut butter, a peanut butter cup is a fusion of the two creating a unique and tasty snack. While I opted from the Indo-Chinese menu, there were many other items that also seemed really intriguing from the Indian menu as well. Will also say there is definitely some Thai influence as well, which is always a win in my book. For those not familiar with Indian food, the online menu offers a pretty good idea of what you may be ordering rather than just guessing what you may be getting. For lunch, I ordered the Tom Yum Soup (Thai hot 'n sour soup, fresh vegetables, and lemon grass) as well as the Basil Ginger Chicken (Sliced chicken with bell pepper, onion, ginger & basil in house special basil sauce.) Both items were super tasty and I had more than enough for another meal. We ordered online which added a 15% off coupon which is always a win to save some money. The order was ready as promised and pickup was a breeze. Finding another great restaurant only makes ordering future meals difficult in that deciding where to go is only that much more difficult. While I did not scope out the lunch buffet, they did advertise on a lunch buffet which may very well be a future review. With that a huge thanks to Spice Route for a great lunch. If you are looking for something different this weekend, this is something worse considering.

Chinese dishes were great... I was not quite sure about why there is a word Melange in the restaurant name and asked the manager. As per him "In 2017, the owners of Spice Route, a popular Indian restaurant in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, took over the restaurant formerly known as Melange in Parsippany so the addition of "by Spice Route" to the restaurant's name." We were there on holiday week with a few colleagues. It was quite empty, hardly 2-3 tables occupied by patrons. The ambiance was fair. We got the table and settled in, the server was courteous and she took care of us very well. Coming to food, In appetizers, they had Pakora, Baby corn, Samosa in ve option, and in Non-veg - Chicken chili & Tandoori chicken Entrees- ( apart from Bread and Rice) Veg - Kadai paneer, Some Thai dish, Dal makhani Non-veg - Chicken tikka, lamb curry, and some Thai chicken dish Gulab Jamun, Rice pudding, and chocolate moose was in deserts. I liked the samosa and chicken chilly. It was really great. Rest Dishes- not lagging with their counterparts. the buffet was only for $12+tax so its win-win ;)

I have had Indochinese food from Melange twice. The first was in person a few years ago, and the second was yesterday using UberEats delivery. On first impression, the restaurant is elegant with ample seating and parking. On a Friday at 7 PM there was not a single soul in sight, but they seemed to have many delivery orders coming in. I imagine it gets packed closer to 8 or 9 PM (especially considering that most Indians eat very late). Food was packed very well. Order came with sauces, as well as napkins/fork/spoon/knife. Entrees were piping hot and fresh. All the dishes I ordered were fantastic - cauliflower manchurian, Hakka noodles veg, and chicken 65. It was actually much better tasting than what I remember. During my first dine in experience, I considered the food to be sort of average for the area. Yesterday's food was very delicious, however, and I believe it is a solid spot for Indochinese in the Parsippany area. This restaurant is right on my way back home from work, so I imagine I will be placing many more to go orders in the future. :)

Stopped by 6pm on a Saturday the restaurant was empty but during our visit 2 tables were filled and a few delivery app pickups. Food was ok - ordered the naan, roti, saag Chicken and Hakka noodles. Service was fine but seemed a bit understaffed the host was also the only waiter in the restaurant, but service was quick.

We heard a lot about their indochinese and finally decided to try. Lollipop as starter was a hit from word go. i am not a fan of Lotus root but my sister ordered it and she found it very very sweet. Sichuan fried rice and shrimp hakka noodles were the best i have tasted in recent years. I ordered mongolian lamb as my entree and it was cooked to perfection. I was expecting mango rice pudding in dessert menu but sadly they don't have that in the menu. server was friendly. Very modern ambiance, music can be better.

I was incredibly keen to try A2B Indian Restaurant after hearing numerous glowing reviews,…read moreincluding a stellar 4.8-star rating from 7.4k reviews and a passionate recommendation from my fiancé's South Indian friend claiming they have the best masala dosas in the state. Given the difficulty of getting a reservation at my current favorite, Semma, this was meant to be my new go-to. Unfortunately, my Saturday evening experience was an overall big letdown. We arrived to a packed restaurant, with the parking lot at capacity, which certainly spoke to A2B's popularity. The interior was spacious, offering plenty of booths and tables, yet it was still quite full. We were seated quickly after a short 5-minute wait. However, once we sat down, the waiting game began. There was an iPad on the table with the menu, but we couldn't place the order ourselves. After nearly 15 minutes had passed with no server approaching, we finally flagged someone down. When the waiter did arrive, they offered no introduction and simply asked for our order before taking the iPad and leaving. For drinks, the Masala Chai and a Mango Lassi (made with pulp, not fresh mangoes) were both good; no complaints there. We ordered the main event, two Mysore Masala Dosas with the potato masala on the side. The food came out alarmingly fast, within like three minutes, which immediately made me suspicious. How the food was presented was perhaps the most jarring part of the experience, the small separate dishes for the potato masala and the chutneys were placed directly on top of my dosa! That's not hygienic at all, and to have serving dishes underside directly contacting the food was a bad look and presentation. Beyond the questionable presentation, the quality of the dosa was deeply disappointing. It was soggy and not crispy whatsoever. The speed suggested it was possibly pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp. The only saving grace of the entire meal was the sambar, which was genuinely good, almost as good as my mom makes it. Given this experience, I completely lost interest in trying the Palak Paneer or Malai Kofta I had initially planned on. We finished with the Pista Kulfi for dessert, which was just okay, with a heavy taste of cardamom that you'll love only if you're a big fan of that spice. While we were there, another family in front of us complained to the manager about the service, but the manager looked like he didn't care since business is booming for the restaurant. I wouldn't come back here again; there are much better spots for dosas and vegetarian Indian food. This was an overall disappointing experience.

Solid 4/5 stars for Gaamthi in Parsippany. If you're craving an authentic, rustic Gujarati spread,…read moretheir Kathiyawadi Thali delivers genuine, village-style comfort that feels straight out of Saurashtra. The thali is robust, hearty, and uncompromising on traditional regional spices: - Breads & Grains: The freshly made bajra rotla served with a generous dollop of white butter (makhan) and jaggery (gor) was the absolute highlight--dense, warm, and comforting. The kadhi and khichdi pairing also hit all the right soothing, nostalgic notes. - Sabzis & Curries: The shaak preparations captured that distinct Kathiyawadi profile--bold garlic, mustard, and warming red chili heat without being drowned in excess oil. The sev tameta shaak offered that perfect balance of tangy and spicy, while the stuffed vegetable dishes had authentic homestyle depth. - Accompaniments: The garlic chutney, fried chilies, papad, and fresh buttermilk (chaas) pulled the whole feast together, providing the necessary sharp tang and heat to cut through the richness. The only reason it's a 4 instead of a full 5 comes down to consistency during peak weekend rush. The dining area fills up fast, meaning hot bread refills and extra servings occasionally took longer than ideal to arrive, and a couple of the mild sides could have packed a slightly fresher punch. Overall, it's a deeply satisfying, homestyle feast that avoids the overly sweet Gujarati clichés in favor of bold, rustic spice. Well worth a visit for anyone looking for authentic regional comfort food.
