After reviewing most of their inventory on the racks, it was hard to understand why many of the items I brought in were not accepted. It may be the "manager's" bias as she inspected the items. She was polite in a very insincere way trying to explain to me what she would accept and not accept, which was all very random. Was that really her natural voice?!! Also, when I brought my items in they were pressed and neatly folded but were given back to me not folded, bundled together and wrinkled. I have a much better experience with TheRealReal.

My regular shopping budget is closer to $100, and I've never left here empty handed. Today, I was on the hunt for "holiday cocktail" wear and found not only a festive, sparkly A-line skirt but also a beautiful DKNY cocktail dress just my size--and walked out having spent LESS than $115 total! The hardest part will be deciding which to wear to this weekend's party. What else sets Vida Style apart is that, unlike other neighborhood shops, there's PLENTY of inventory without sensory overload. Having worked in retail, I like seeing racks that are organized (size and color!) AND easy to peruse in a reasonable amount of time (I mean, if you have a street meter running, you don't want to be in there all day, right?). Other stores have reduced their jacket inventory post-pandemic, but not here. Why was I not surprised that TWO attorneys were shopping here at lunchtime today? They really have it all.
