Great food! Still cranking out the good-goodies! Carne Asada Supreme burrito is enough for two-to-share. I am a huge fan of the red salsa they make on premises. The deal is the 3-chicken flautas with lettuce, sour cream and shredded mild cheddar cheese on top. Beautiful to look at, delicious to eat! Rolled tacos with Guacamole, mild cheddar and Cotija cheese on top. Yum! I have had issue with the wait for food a few times. Even after phoning order in ahead of time. Their chips are made FRESH to order, burritos, rolled tacos and hot sauce is by far the best that I've had. If you come in you might see me here. I found Sarai's when I stopped to get a Redbox movie which is in the same strip mall as Sarai's. From the outside it looks like it is going to be a run down dirty taco shop but I was surprised to find out when I went inside that it was really nice and clean inside. The lady that took my order was friendly and the food was good. If I'm in the mood for mexican food I usually will hit up Titas. However if I'm down getting another movie or something I would definitely stop by Sarai's again. read more

I normally LOVE this place. The food is delicious- the red salsa is so garlic-y and delicious. We go there at least once a week. There's been a new younger person working the register that has the nastiest attitude, she cannot get any orders correct, gets nasty when she gets shown something is wrong. My husband and I stopped by here after our hike at Oak Oasis and let me tell you... It was REFRESHING! I have never had such a deliciously moist chicken taco, the portions were big and my husbands burrito must have been a foot long. I definitely recommend the combinations. Chicken tacos and Cali burrito were YUMMY and tasted super fresh. Also, this may not be important to others, but to me the bathroom was spotless and that's really important to me, usually reflects their kitchen cleanliness. The lady at the front was so nice (I rarely experience this genuine happiness at taco shops) and that really made a difference too. Love love love this place! Food came out when my friends were almost done eating theirs, I refused all the sauces they offered me and just asked for small side of sour cream, which didn't go well. They don't do that. The best taco shop in lakeside and greater east county. The hot sauce is actually spicy, the green being the best green sauce you can find outside a taqueria. The customer service of this taco shop has gone down hill over the years. I have have been going since 2009. The food is great, but since they hired the older lady in the front (she had red hair and now it is dyed gray) I don't like going there. Every time I call to place an order she hangs up on me, she is very rude and sets the tone as if I am bothering her, instead of asking if I need anything else she cops an attitude, and she forgets to give me parts of my order. When I ask for the rest of my order she acts as if I didn't pay for it. read more

Great breakfast burritos. Prices have gone up and can be slow early in the morning if you have a large order. But all around great burritos.

Despite the few negative reviews I pick up a breakfast burrito every Friday on my way to work. The burritos are good and large and priced right. Never had any of the other entree's on their menus so I can't comment on that. read more
