I've been going to Sarana for a few months now and they always do amazing! They can always fit me in, very friendly environment, and they have complimentary drinks and snacks. Here's a picture of my most recent Halloween nails.

First timer as it's in my neighborhood. Sub par manicure. I was telling the manicurist to fix every nail, and by the end was too tired of the long wait to bother further. Cannot believe that I paid for this service. I would not come back. And overall the staff were unwelcoming.

I have stopped by a few times for pedicures and always been pleased. Just moved to the neighborhood and decided to try out a manicure as well and I am beyond happy I did! Hard to come across a genuinely good nail tech but Sarah is one of them. I went in asking for gel extensions and she suggested I get dip instead (which was cheaper) to protect my nail health. Very clean, courteous and quick! I got a gel pedicure and this set in 1.5hours for $140 + tip

Sarah did a great job on my nails. I called ahead of time and she said she could fit in a full set and a pedicure. My pedi came out nice and I have no complaints. She even kept the shop open late for me an gave me a discount. She's so nice too! As a first time customer I'm always worried they won't come out how I want them but I showed her what I wanted and she executed perfectly! I will 100% be back.

I gave Sarana two tries and I don't think I will be back again. The first time was okay but my second visit sealed the deal. During my second visit, I asked for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure was average. The gel manicure was not so. I don't know if this is how they do things there but my gel manicure was sloppily done. At other places, the nail tech usually wipes my nails after the manicure and applies lotion. The nail technician did not do this and I still had a bit of nail polish on my skin. Also, she did not apply lotion to my hands. As far as cleanliness, I have been to other places that are cleaner.

Would never go anywhere else. I have tried so many places in the city for nail extensions and no where even compares. Every other place left me with bulky nails that lifted within a week. Which I would then end up ripping off, further damaging my thin nails. At Sarana, not only do they make my nails look thin, natural and incredible, but they manage to make all my artistic dreams come true. Sara and Ryan are nail geniuses. Anything you want, they make happen. All in good humor and kindness too! My nails have never been longer, stronger or happier. I tell everyone to go to them and for good reason! I can't tell you how many compliments I get. I've been going for years now and I should have reviewed sooner. Go and get your glam on! You won't regret it! All these negative reviews about toys and a baby monitor forget that Sara and Ryan are real people who truly care about not only their clients but also their lives. If you're offended by the cutest sweetest baby alive, maybe this isn't the salon for you. But as someone who values those who value me, I love seeing that they are wonderful caring people making their lives part of their work. That kind of attention and caring is what makes Sarana such an amazing place. They take care of you and welcome you just like family! It's only natural that you are part of theirs. My go-to nail spot. Had trouble finding a place after I moved to Philly and came across this gem. They can do almost anything!! My shape is always on point and the pricing is fair. Both Sara and her brother have talent like I've never seen. Definitely check them out, especially if you want something a little out of the ordinary. Tips: use cash for a small discount, and they have an ATM in house with only 1$ fee.

I made an appointment with Sara for a Saturday and left a $20 deposit via cashapp. I am desperate for a new salon and the acrylic and design work looked really solid on Instagram. So, I was in and out in 50 minutes which would have been great if the work up to par. The work was extremely sloppy with acrylic missing on the side of my nails. Also, the polish was missing on the sides of a couple of nails and my thumbnail was crooked. Sara seemed extremely distracted on the phone. and I feel like the appointment should have never been taken if she wanted to focus on other things. Total cost-$85 for a full set with regular acrylic and a simple design... Sad, because I have to go to another salon to have them redone. On the bright side, they do have a lot of colors that are hard to find in other salons, but for the price, you can buy them off Amazon for $8-$9 and bring them to the salon of your choice.

AMAZING, My new favorite nail salon!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!! Just moved in the area & was looking for a new nail salon to go to..... I could not be happier. If you are looking for someone to take their time, create a beautiful design and also make sure you are satisfied- this is the place to go! I had an issue with a previous salon I had gone to (completely ruined my nail beds) , Sarana nails were quick to recommend treatments and offer help to make my nails healthy again! They were very gentle and I had no complaints!! Thank you so much Ryan!!! I called the day before, made an appointment and did not have to wait. They were on time. The atmosphere is super cute, laid back and all of the staff was so pleasant. Price wise- you get what you pay for! A little pricey but great quality!! Thanks again! I'll be back very soon!!!!

Sarana Nails have mastered the art!!! Their nails are super amazing and they're incredibly talented. They are absolutely worth the price. With nails you really get what you pay for. You've seen picture that say "what I wanted vs. what I got" -- at Sarana Nails you will ALWAYS get amazing well done nails!! If you dream it they can do it. Very friendly staff and atmosphere and they have a cute little friendly pomeranian dog. The photo is of my nails done by Ryan and both nail technicians are equally amazing. Their artwork is masterful. Worth coming in from all over Philly and even out of town for.

AMAZING! ^_^ walked in after noticing the grand opening sign, was greeted immediately, asked to pick my colors, discussed designs &was shown their work on their Instagram page to see if I was interested in nail design as well. The girl (I forgot to ask her name) was super sweet, kept a nice conversation the entire time, made sure to ask if I was happy with each step of my fill / shape change. She suggested matte finish for me to give me a different look and I was happy for all the suggestions and things they had to offer ! A gentlemen did the lace design on my Ring fingers and I'm still blown away by how amazing it came out ! Told him to do whatever and i couldn't be happier!! The fill feels amazing, nice thin even acrylic. Nice pointed tips. Even color. Nice hand massage & I was happy the girl trimmed my cuticles and cleaned up around my nail bed as well :) The salon is huge. Numerous tables and then a long row of pedicure chairs. Offering waxing and eye brow tinting as well, soon to have eyelash extensions too. New nail spot, for sure !!

I mean the nails speak for themself, the artwork is beautiful and spot on to the design photo I brought in. Quality is amazing, especially for the low price point. Definitely my new favorite salon! Everyone was so nice and friendly, definitely recommend coming here. read more

I just moved to fishtown and was looking for a new nail salon. Bri and Sarah were so sweet and welcoming I felt like i've known them for years! Bri did my manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing and everything was fantastic! I highly recommend to anyone in the area. read more

This is an update review. So I wanted to come back on here and update me review, since my service Saturday I went ahead and called the store and also DM'd their instagram, I was able to come in and get a more coordinated design, the girls where super helpful and very poise about the fix. I must have just caught them In bad timing my first visit. I am happy to say I was wrong and would definitely come back. This time however Ik to book an appointment and the have a set style in mind. Thank you guys for fixing the nails. I am alot happier and a lot more confident with this set read more

One person at this salon who is no longer there is AMAZING, I think his name is Ryan. But, the salons Instagram shows sketchy side hustles like selling puppies, bling, and rolexes. Which is vey weird considering this is a nail salon. I've been a handful of times and always paid fair prices $50-90 and my nails only lifted or fell off when a girl, Sara, would do my nails. I'd find another salon, there's so many other options in the area read more

Amazing job by Sara!! I got a dip manicure and she used a technique I have never seen before that didn't require putting my nails in the dip container. Very hygienic and they came out super smooth and pretty! Will definitely be coming back read more

I found myself in Philadelphia more and more, in one of those "fuck I need to get my nails done" situations. I don't know if you know this but, some people have specific preferences for personal grooming as well as established trust and loyalty to certain professionals. I started searching Yelp and one of the first recommendations was Sarana Nails. That was it. That was all I needed. I looked through the pics on Yelp and then found myself creeping on their InstaGram. I was sold. Everything I saw looked insanely sic. Every time I come to Sarana they kill it. I always walk out with the freshest, hand painted designs. My suggestion is to let them do what they want. They do their best work when they can freestyle and create a breathtaking set for you. It's funny.....I was so hesitant to go to a new salon and now I won't go anywhere else for my nails. read more

Fantastic experience and service! It was my first time getting acrylic tips, and Sara was just amazing at it and extremely efficient with the time it took to get it all done. She gave me some great pointers on how to avoid damaging my nails when I was ready to take them off back home in a few weeks (since I was visiting from out of town). I'm so happy she did since I've heard horror stories about acrylics at other places. I had such a phenomenal experience that I look forward to going back to her next time I visit. Also, the young man working on my pedicure was wonderful as well, and my feet have literally never felt softer!! I highly recommend coming here if you want a great service and a great product for a great price!! Bring cash as you'll save more. :) read more

Made an appointment which I had to pay a $20 deposit to hold which is fine. The $20 deposit went towards NOTHING so i ended up paying $80 all together for a simple mani/pedi that didn't even last a week. The girl who started on my pedicure, got up halfway through to then help another customer who had an appointment time a half hour after mine and just happened to be early. I was then sitting there for another 20 minutes waiting for someone else to finish the job. Terrible customer service and the prices are ridiculous for work that isn't great. And if you're going to make people pay $20 just to hold an appointment you might want to put that towards their service and maybe not leave them hanging halfway through a pedicure. Will not be returning. read more

If you're only quickly skimming reviews on nail salons, read this line only: FIND A BETTER SALON. I came here because they accepted credit cards, but unfortunately they don't allow you to tip on credit cards, so I could only tip the manicurist $2. As nice as the manicurist was, I almost wish that I wouldn't have tipped her anything because my gel manicure lifted and chipped multiple times in a matter of the first 3 days of having it. It was a bit disappointing, but there were air bubbles in my manicure, so I guess it shouldn't have been unexpected. I couldn't even take a picture of my manicure because of how poorly it came out. read more

Best experience I've had in a long time! They took their time... offered drinks with services and has many different nail and spa services to choose from! I'm updating my review due to my changing experience with this salon since I started coming here over a year ago. The longer I've been coming, the less quality service I get. I feel that bc I am an existing customer they do not think it's important to work as hard with me as with the new customers. I get close to zero attention at this point. The technicians do not greet me anymore, they always take care of their personal issues while doing my nails, disregarding my questions or desires, they are just trying to finish it and move on to their personal life issues. No goodbye or thank you. They always have more important things to take care of and I've been asked many times to understand them. Getting your nails done is a luxury type of service, were you look forward to nice atmosphere, good service and to relax a bit. I always call to schedule my appointments and 90% of the time they are extremely late or assign me to someone else that I did not desire. At this point I even do my own paraffins dip! No one bothers do it for me. But they charge me for it. If I was the owner of this place I'd rethink this attitude, because there are other places where frequent customers like myself Can take our money to. And I have a feeling that my business and my money will be more appreciated elsewhere as a regular customer. Treat your regulars well. They're the ones providing you with stable income. I've been here a handful of times now. Sara and Ryan are the nail artists I've seen. I moved to Philly about 4 months ago and Sarana is the best nail salon I've been to since moving here. I've been to two others that were clean and did a nice job but were not willing to create any real "nail art." At Sarana they will create nail styles for you, or perfectly recreate any nail style example you show them. On top of that, the quality of the manicure is always excellent, I have only ever broken one nail, and it was after four weeks without filling. I get so many compliments on my nails when I get them done at Sarana. The vibes at this salon are on point as well. read more

I must have had the young girl on a bad day. I feel bad saying this about her because she is so sweet but I had the worst nail experience ever. I use gel on my nails rather than acrylic because of my occupation. She brought out the acrylic to apply and when I told her I wanted gel because that's what I already had on my nails she asked why. I don't know any other nail tech asking me why I use which hardener. Then I explained I wanted a certain shape she said we will see what we can do which I understood because my nails were too short. She made my nails so crooked to the point you could see my natural nail from the sides. I am only giving a 2 star because she was willing to fix the problem except her overall results was sloppy and just uneven. I went on vacation like this. I came back home to get them redone. The young male does exceptional work. Wish I would have had him instead. read more

I looove them so much for acrylic and designs. Bring cash, it's better for everybody~ u get a discount and they wont be charged by credit card companies! Like- LOOK AT THEIR IG @sarana_nails I have been obsessed. This is a great place to go to for like yr birthday nails, if u want intricate designs and are willing to pay for it but still in the more reasonable end then this is defs the spot! read more

I don't normally get my nails done - but this morning out of nowhere I decided to do it. I'm a personal trainer so anytime I give myself a manicure, it ends up chipping after a day or two. My best friend recommended gel nails so... I decided it was time to try it out. The salon was clean and I was greeted as I walked in. Everyone was with a customer but Sarah told me to go ahead and pick a color out and have a seat. Spirits seemed to be high while I waited, the customers there definitely seemed like regulars. Wait wasn't too long, and soon Sarah began my manicure. She took her time but was super efficient and helped me choose a design for my nails that was simple yet still had wow-factor. She did a great job and I'm super pleased with the outcome. I even tried a paraffin dip, which was completely new and weird to me.. but I like the way my hands feel now. Oh, and I was also given a glass of champagne, which always makes me happy. So all in all, I will definitely be back to get my gel nails filled once they grow a bit and I may even try the pedicure. read more

I'm happy to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, especially during/post COVID, but my experience here was unfortunately less than to be desired. My appointment was scheduled for 45 minutes and took easily double the amount of time all the whole feeling ignored and certainly not a priority. It's less than one week after and my gel is already significantly chipped. I will be looking for another salon, especially for a special occasion. read more

Amazing job on my nails..came in town from Syracuse and tried to go here before and they were honest about not having any openings which I appreciated but was bummed out. My next trip down we made it in and I'm so glad I tried again. The atmosphere is beautiful. The employees were great! My nails came out better than I even hoped and he did an amazing job freehand!I had no vision and couldn't be happier. The prices are great for the quality. I think I may have finally found my go-to nail salon! I got a full set at another place and as I lived with them, I realized there were some issues, so I looked up some places and settled on Sarana for my next fill in. I had a 1pm appt on a Friday and was taken right away. My polish was removed and a lot of care was taken to get rid of old, cracked acrylic. My fill in was SO smooth and thin. He then filed and shaped my nails so they were all even (they weren't before, that was my main issue). It took me some time to think about colors/art but I talked with the guy doing them and came up with something I loved and he did an amazing job. Everyone was very nice and the salon was clean and modern. Im glad I made the switch to sarana. Even though it's out of my way it's worth it for the quality. read more

Absolutely incredible work! I originally came in for a fill, knowing that the previous salon I had gone to hadn't done a great job with my nails. Sara was so kind and put on a new set for me instead, and they look 100 times better. Every time I come here I get probably the best acrylics I've ever had, they're thin which I love and always shaped perfectly. My phone died before I could show the design I wanted, but I was able to describe it and it was still done perfectly. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. read more

My first massage was ok, solid but nothing that would have pushed me to return. She was kind, listened to my concerns, but I need very specific type of massage and therapy for my needs. She did a great job warming up my body, slowly increasing mobility and stretching certain areas, and then isolated certain muscles and kneaded a lot of my tension out in the areas I expressed to her. I'm not sure if cupping actually does anything, feels more like a pseudoscience to me. But based on my experience, I would absolutely return for a massage with Sara. The space is absolutely beautiful as well, see pictures. I would recommend this business based on my experiences! I have not attended yoga or their sauna yet, so cannot comment on that.

I WONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT SARANA! I made an appt and when I went in there were only a few ppl in the salon. Not sure what it's like when it's busy. I went in wanting gel builder not acrylic, because I have never been happy with the way salons do acrylic. I always paid the extra money to get gel instead. Every time I went to the salon, it cost me $100. Sarah convinced me to get acrylic because it's cheaper and she applys it different. I showed her a bunch of pictures of colors and designs I liked and told her to do whatever she thought looked good. It came out fabulous. The building has a beautiful mural on it and the inside of the salon is so clean and new! I was so impressed! Pay with cash, you get 2 dollars off! But I ended up giving it back to Sarah in tip because my nails and experience was so good. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Please try it, you will not be disappointed. Only slight downside is the parking, but I would pay a parking ticket just to go here. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I feel so strongly about the consistent quality of nail art that Sarana Nails provides that I had to share... Sister/brother duo Sarah and Ryan are extremely talented and easily make the customer feel laid-back and at-home while they work quickly on giving you the look you asked for. Angie and other staff are always pleasant and down to earth as well. Since moving to the neighborhood I have not gone anywhere else to get my nails done. It is not quite the type of nail salon where you can expect them to thrust a glass of wine in your hand and fuss over you, but it is definitely an environment where you can make yourself comfortable. My acrylics always last ~3 weeks. If I need a touch up I can walk in and they'll fix for free. Tip: cash is preferred so bring enough! read more

Today, I went in for my first trip here. I went for a pedicure and a full gel set. I cannot remember the last time I had a pedicure. I always talk myself out of spending the money and taking the time. But, it was very relaxing to read my book and have my feet pampered. She did I great job on my feet and was very sweet. I didn't realize the pedicure included a hot stone portion, that was an excellent surprise. My nails are beautiful. He made them pointy, which look legit. The commute is a little out of the way for me, but, I will go there again and tell/bring a friend. It's a family business, I prefer to support local businesses in our community, when possible. Soooo I have been to this salon 3 times so far consecutively. I must say that overall I am pleased. I came with a full set already on my nails so each time I got a refill. The shaping of the coffin nails were to my liking and the design was EVERYTHING!!!! I made an appt each time. Having to wait is expected but there was one time where I waited longer than expected. But once I sat in the chair, I was revived from my frustration. Ryan did my nails twice and Sarah did them once. They were both welcoming and polite to me. I cant speak on the full set as of yet but I will be there Friday for one so I am hoping it is just as good as my refills have been. read more

My first visit to Sarana Nail Salon was a couple weeks ago. As soon as I walked in, I noticed how beautiful it is. Wall Color and decor gives the salon a very peaceful, calming and relaxing atmosphere. You feel very welcomed from the minute you walk in ! Had a great time at sarana nails! Ryan is the sweetest and he did my kick ass manicure. This was my first time getting the stiletto shape and I love how they came out. His sister was also really nice and at one point brought out their cute lil puppy so that made my experience all the better. Back in May, I walked into the salon with a few inspiration photos and a dream for my nails. I was a bachelorette in a wedding in Puerto Rico at the end of the month. Sarah took my vision, and created something beyond my wildest dreams. I got SO MANY compliments on my nails leading up to the event and at the wedding itself. They have several drinks and snacks in the area that they offer. However, the worker you get can be hit or kiss because I've had phenomenal service from one of the older ladies who did my pedicures. She was very detailed with the gel polish, gentle with moving me where I need to go, and was great at the heel exfoliation and wax treatment. The shoulder massage at the end was a nice touch as well! However, I recently had another worker who was a bit rough with pulling me around or hitting my legs when she needed me to move and did the heel exfoliation for like 10 seconds then moved on. I asked the receptionist if I could make an appointment for a manicure in person and she said I needed to call. Weird, but okay. I was looking at the menu for not even a minute before the receptionist rudely told me I can take a picture and to leave. I find that to be pretty rude as I have never experienced that at any nail salon in my life and it's not a particularly fancy or even clean salon. The interaction with the receptionist as a whole was a complete turn off from me visiting this salon in the future if this is how they treat potential clientele.

For me personally, getting my nails done is the ultimate form of self care. I always feel 1000% better when I have a natural looking, but beautifully decorated set on my hands. Prior to finding Majestic, I had done both gel and acrylic, but I've since switched to dip with Gel Designs, which is what Lina specializes in. Never in my life have I had my nails look this wonderful, and I truly, truly mean that. I'm not even currently in the office, and all of my colleagues want to see my nails whenever we hop on zoom meetings. Lina is such a sweetheart and I genuinely enjoy my appointments with her. I always make sure to let her know what I'm looking for prior to the appointment just so she can be prepared with colors, supplies, and appropriate time and whatnot. I'm so appreciative that she takes her time and it really shows in her work. I walk away with my beautiful little works of art on my fingers and I could not be happier. I saw a couple of others in reviews commenting on prices and I'll say this: if you want a $35 set, they're going to look like a $35 set. If you want quality set of nails, that look gosh darn GORGEOUS, come here. You get what you pay for. You're paying for someone to take their time, and make your nails look beautiful, and I'm personally willing to pay someone for their artistic craft. Thats what this is. Nails are art. Pay artists for their work.
