This was my first time actually going to this location. I ordered via UberEats Teriyaki Chicken Combo which is Steamed Cabbage/Carrots and white rice Or for 70 cents more you can get Fried Rice!.. I was greeted immediately the guy was pleasant and got my order immediately. The Ambience was clean and organized. I loved. That the food was very flavorful and it was light it wasn't heavy and it was healthy but flavorful all across the board and the portions were filling. I absolutely LOVE their Sushi at whatever location lol . I'd come back and order from here again!

    California Rolls and Shrimp Tempura

I've never been a big fan of Sarku Japan and now I remember why. The quality of their food is not great. Shrimp tempura?? How about tasteless fried breading with a Shrimp tail. There was barely any Shrimp inside the breading. You can tell this item was store brought, probably from Restaurant Depot. And where's the sauce? Maybe the sauce could've added some flavor, but that wasn't included. Definitely not worth the $4.59.... I also didn't get soy sauce with my sushi. People shouldn't have to ask for sauces that should come with the food. If you want Sushi, go to Wegmans! I won't be coming back to this place anytime soon.

2 chicken and shrimp entrees Shrimp tempura roll And 1 yum yum sauce

The food is fine, I used to come to this place all the time but I see that things have changed over the years and now you have new people there , I spent a good amount of money on my food for me and my wife and one of the employees packed my bag didn't even bother to ask me did I want sauce so I had to ask , then when I asked she only gave me 1 sauce and I have 2 entrees, the size of the sauce cup is not enough for 2 meals I asked for another for the other meal, and instead she wanted to be quick to charge me for sauce instead of just giving me 1 extra sauce that way both entrees have sauce instead I felt like she wanted to be petty and just charge me for sauce. If you decide to eat at this location just expect people to be rude. I'll be going to quikway for now on.

    Shrimp bento box

What I wanted was sashimi, found a rice bowl place that said they had some sushi rolls, or that's the best was to describe it. About 8 different rolls and a number of meats over rice. Tasty but not sushi and definitely not sashimi. What I had was fast, cheap, fresh and tasty but not sushi. (I had the shrimp bento box on brown rice)

I absolutely love this location. The employees are fantastic and the manager/owner is such a sweet guy. He actually cares about his patrons and he's great to chat with. We regularly come here. It's the only fast food restaurant in the immediate area that doesn't have employees who give more attitude than service. I literally despise the area because of the attitudes of all the employees at all the immediate fast food restaurants but not here. Thanks for continued great service!

Service: The cashier was not as prompt and friendly as other restaurants but not overly rude either. Food: Sushi is not truly fresh but still eatable. Also, sushi chef's rolling skills need a little work. The roll wasn't as tight and aesthetically pleasing as higher end sushi places.

We started with the sashimi appetizer for $12. There were 6 large pieces...salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. All fresh and very very good. The wasabi was even of high quality. The sushi rolls were pick any 2 for $13. Absolutely fantastic rolls. I came in for the volcano bowl and I would come back again for the volcano bowl. I like a spicy broth and this was perfect. The curly noodles were just the right size and they were freshly made. The pork was very high quality and was a great treat. The Akira ramen was not spicy, but was still very tasty. The skinny noodles are wheat noodles, but didn't taste any different from regular noodles. The bento box was very good as well. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the teriyaki sauce was excellent. The waitress was really good and finished the night with some complimentary bites of the mochi. Great night, great food, great people! Compliments to all from the servers to the chefs!

Easy access to a garage that's just around the corner because it is on a very busy street. So garage parking is a must. I don't believe they have been open too long as they are still working on their liquor license. Very cute restaurant nice and tidy but a lot of personality in a small space. I was greeted when I walked in and since I was by myself I opted to sit at the sushi bar area. I forgot to take a picture of my food when I came out because I was so hungry...but the rolls were delicious and fresh. I also took some ramen home and I loved how they packaged everything up for me. I would give them a 3.75 stars because I wish they offered more ramen like beef and with the chicken broth not chicken that's fried. As the chicken was soggy and not eatable when I got home even though it was separated from the ramen. I would give them another try if I'm in the area to try more rolls and their alcohol selection.

The food at Sakaki is full of flavor and the prices are reasonable for the amount. I think, after being twice, that the AYCE is not as worth it for me personally because I'm not a big eater, but it's totally worth it if you want a lot of variety and you have a good appetite. I really liked the rolls in particular. The service was excellent- it was a nice balance of coming over once in a while to ask how we were doing without coming over too much. The vibes are awesome with a really nice interior- definitely a nice place to go for a date,!just to go with friends to have a nice meal, or even to grab a meal alone since the center has a large area for single seating. Fyi- for the AYCE menu, note that once you put in an order for a round, you can't order for another 10 min so be sure to order enough at a time. Also, there is a time limit to the AYCE (I think it was 90 min). This'll definitely be a place I go to regularly in the future!

If I'm honest, whenever I…read moreshow up to an AYCE I'm always skeptical with the quality of the food, especially when it comes to sushi but wow, I was blown away how great it was for AYCE. The set- up and the ambiance is very comfortable and sleek/modern with the main sushi chefs in the middle and the tables around them. The tables have waiters and a tablet at the table like most hot pot/kbbq places and you can order everything off of there. I have only been here once and wanted to try to low tier without going "all in" on the top tier option of diamond without knowing how the basics would taste. Let me say if the bottom tier was as good as it was, I'm excited to come back to try the next tier! Anyway, the basic tier already comes with a lot of sushi options and should be enough for those who are craving just sushi. All of the cuts of nigiri was great, all tender with great flavor, but what stood out to me the most was actually the yellowtail, super buttery and great flavor. The eel was also a top choice! All the rolls were good basic to the fancier ones, I would say that most of the bang for the buck would be the nigiri. The rolls are good but a little too much rice for me personally. The appetizers, didn't spend too much time on them but the chicken karaage was solid and the seaweed salad was my two favorite. Overall, super solid for the price and I'd totally want to go again to try more of their options! 100% recommend!

Must admit the food here is quite tasty & fresh!!…read more This spot definitely has become of my "go-to"s" when in this area. The food is fast, quick, and offers a good variety of menu items to mix in to the fold when it comes to looking for fast-casual places offering healthy options--like fresh vegetable and decent proteins. The menu is mostly comprised of hibachi eats, but surprisingly.....this place offers Pho and Noodle dishes as well. In similar fashion to Chipotle but just on an Asian fare tip....you walk down an assembly line of options starting with noodle/rice choices and assemble your bowl of delicious, healthy veggies, proteins and toppings. Place like this is my kind of playground. It gives you a chance to change things up every now and then......from the same old....same ole! On this day I came here and got a steak and jumbo shrimp bowl that was everything! The proteins were seasoned and packed with flavor. The veggies were cooked just right.....from the cabbage, carrots , pickled onions and mushroom toppings. Not to mention the portions were quite hefty....more than I can say than similar places like this that serves similar format....and we all know who I am referring to. In all, I always enjoy coming here. The customer experience and service is top notch. Not to mention, the food quality and fast has been pretty consistent and has not missed the mark! The establishment is always clean and the food stations are spotless. The vibe is very casual and laid back, with lots of dining space if you decided to eat-in but I notice this location is mostly take out. SakuraGo gets a "Thumbs Up" in my book and I recommend! It's definitely worth a visit when in this area. *ELITE TIP: Join the rewards program Lots of perks, deals, discounts and a cool way to earn a free meal.....and who doesn't like that!! :-)

Every order will come "to-go" style. You will have to pour your own boiling water broth into the bowl. The broth was bland, watered down and missing the typical rich pho flavor. And the noodles were overly starchy and chewy. In a typical pho restaurant, they will blanch the pho noodles in the broth to get rid of that. In this case, the cook took the dry noodles out of the bag and plopped it into a "to-go" bowl. I am Vietnamese and used to work in an authentic pho restaurant in San Jose. Don't expect traditional experience here. Oh, and Mexican ranchero music was blasting, nothing wrong with that, just a little unexpected The employees there were super nice.

We ordered the salmon and shrimp bento box, the chicken and shrimp bento box, and the shrimp and salmon with noodles. The food arrived piping hot, the aroma filled the house, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. If you're choosing between entrées, spend the extra few dollars on the bento box. It comes loaded with a California roll, spring rolls, and a few dumplings. The Yum Yum sauce is the perfect sweet-and-spicy balance and pairs beautifully with the teriyaki. One things is that the shrimp are not abundant so order extra, I think we had about 8 in each order, a bit of a bummer.
