5 stars for consistency and customer service! There is always someone standing there giving out tastings of their Chicken Teriyaki and they're very generous with their samples. The chicken teriyaki tastes consistently delicious every time. My boys always get the Chicken Teriyaki, extra chicken, and they finish everything in one sitting. The food is great for fast food and the service is always friendly! When we were there last, thr you g lady in front of us was digging through her purse and pockets to pay and the cashier actually said, "It's ok, don't worry, I'll pay for you." Not sure how much she still owed but I've had cashiers at other stores wait for me to dig for a penny, so I appreciate this courteous gesture. In our 10 years in Houston, we haven't had a bad experience at this Sarku in Willowbrook Mall.

Tasted fresh, plenty of condiments and the right amount of sauce. Comes with avocado, cucumber, seaweed, lettuce. I think for price point its quite good. Presentation was great but that bowl was way too stuffed. Difficult to even attempt to mix so pick your poison I suppose. Would have liked a bigger bowl / taller bowl so I could mix it honestly 72 hour beef spicy miso ramen - 48 hour pork bone worth with miso, beef chashu , bamboo, sweet corn, green onion, kikurage, and a soft boiled egg - I was impressed! I'm quite harsh on ramen especially after visiting most of the ramen shops here in Houston. I found this dish to be quite different which is a great compliment! Most ramen places source pretty much the same broth packets and all honestly mix in with each other in my opinion. This was uniquely more different and I enjoyed it! Plenty of flavor, great serving amount, I tried the non spicy (had the spice on side) and tried my friend's spicy (spice mixed in with broth in it's entirety) and can say the spicy one was great. Would recommend this dish! Overall I was pleasantly happy with this place and would go again!

I proceeded to enjoy a very strong whiskey flight (which means a lot coming from me), a seaweed salad that was a bit too crunchy or stiff, ikrua don, crab croquette and some admittedly super sticky, gummy, shrimp dumplings...like would not separate from the steamer paper sticky. While the offerings were not my cup of tea, the place is beautifully decorated and seems to fill up around dinner service so it may be worth the stop if you're in the area. Everyone was very nice and I always appreciate a spot offering jellyfish, takowasa, and takoyaki in Cypress. Next time I'll try the ramen, and hopefully report back with a new perspective, fingers crossed.

Then, after I've given my detailed order, I gave the time to look around on my table. It was dark wood, with warm lighting that complimented the restaurant's aesthetic. The music choice was odd, but it was subtle in the background. It was clean, well kept, a little loud-- but that didn't stop me from enjoying my time there. Now the food, I ordered JINYA Tonkotsu Black (no garlic chips, no fried onion, or spicy sauce.) I've had my fair share of ramen, different shops, cheap, homemade, expensive. But I couldn't remember how long it's been since I've had such soft, velvety broth in my bowl. The noodles were excellent, cooked to perfection, and the meats were just as tasty. Although, I do wish the seasoned egg had a bit more flavor to complement the jammy yolk in the center. Nonetheless, I ate until I couldn't, and ordered a dessert.

Looking around the room all of the sushi looked great. We went with the Akashí signature roll and it was crunchy and delicious. We also got the garlic chicken and it was !!!! The beef was sooooo tender on the Mongolian beef! We also enjoyed some Sake with our meal. The only comment that I'll say is that the rice was not very good. The fried rice didn't have much flavor. Everything else had 10xs the flavor and it was bomb. We will be coming back to try more stuff the menu is huge (see photos). I forgot we had fried ice cream too. It was the best!

My boyfriend got the Rock & Roll roll and he didn't like how they were shiest with the sauce on top, overall, the roll was okay. the service was really slow.
