    Chicken teriyaki with noodles

Overall very tasty and flavorful. Pretty good price as well especially when they have specials like "Teriyaki Tuesdays". Definitely will be a returning customer!

Ordered Sarku with DoorDash and it was so delicious!! I will say that I wish they had more options. There were really just 3 food options for chicken, steak and shrimp & 2 appetizers. I would have loved to add an egg roll or rangoons in. Other than that, the chicken teriyaki plate can never fail. I swapped the steamed rice for fried & used their hot sauce (makes it 100x better than it already was!) I totally recommend if you haven't been here before.

Everyone and their mamas mama told me this spot is a must and that it's the best in all of San Antonio and this side of the Mississippi and to be honest it's good but not the best and I get why people wait in line for it but I know there's better out there, someone point me in the right direction

I applied for the taste tester, jejeje.

Yummy, yummy chicken!! No lie, this is delicious & always fresh! I`ve tried all; beef, chicken, & shrimp! All are great, try them together or separate, but do it, now! You`ll thank me. I always add fried rice & vegetables.....dont let the long lines turn you away, they move quickly & efficient.

Order the teriyaki chicken. No one gets anything else. It comes with some vegetables and either fried rice or steamed rice. Add on DOUBLE MEAT for $1! It comes out to a "whopping" $6. A word of caution: double meat is about two meals worth. In the Ingram Mall food court, this place is tied with McDonalds for the busiest restaurant. If a japanese restaurant is this busy in San Antonio, you know it is good. Their best weapon is always handing out samples, since they know people can't resist after one bite.

Went on a solo date today and decided to try this place out!…read more The overall look and feel is nice and open. I went around 1 pm cst and it wasn't too busy. Good songs playing! Definitely had me and a few other patrons signing along. I was able to read my book and eat with no pressure which was nice. The waiter checked in on me every now and then - enough time that I didn't feel forgotten or rushed. I ordered the Kani salad w/o sesame seeds and tofu tonkatsu ramen. Since this was my first time I wanted to go simple. Everything was really good with no additions. Kani salad - slightly spicy (used siracha) but very good! I enjoyed it and would order it again Tofu tonkatsu ramen - the portion size is decent, definitely would make the hungriest person satisfied. The tofu is soft and so yummy with the flavorful broth. Strawberry Lychee tea - very good and refreshing I will be back with my family!

Great flavors. The Oishi Sushi Roll definitely offered very crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside and just the right amount of spice. Our party enjoyed the seating with beautiful artwork, parasols hanging from the ceiling and just the Asian flare. Also the drinks, the Pink Sweet, Yuzu jasmine Tea, and the mango slush was delicious.

Fast forward a few years, now named Garlic Bulgogi (and closer to Bandera/Huebner), the restaurant brings the same energy and joy with delicious, well-served dishes! My husband and I love to come to Garlic Bulgogi on the weekends as one of our cozy spots. He always ordered the Beef Bulgogi and I jump between Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Beef Bulgogi Stew or in this case, Beef Japchae. The plates are always consistent in flavor and portion sizes. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and we love the owner! She is always attentive and ready to check on guests. Tonight's experience was perfect! Our dishes were served with banchan which included kimchi, cucumbers, potatoes, daikon, onions and more. The Beef Japchae was packed with veggies, tender beef, hot, and the sweet potato noodles brought the right about of texture to the dish. The Beef Bulgogi plate was an explosion of flavor in every bite. The beef was tender and always a great go-to. Each dish came with a side of white rice. We absolutely love Garlic Bulgogi and have the best time, food and experience when we visit! We can't wait come back to try a new dish.
