Nice little spot. Tasty food for a good price when you are in a hurry. Nice to have Sakura in this area.

We were seated and had our drinks within a couple of minutes. The menu has a lot of choices, but we went with the long time favorite, spicy tuna roll and bento box lunches. The tuna roll was delicious and made fresh with quality ingredients. There is nothing worse than expecting fresh sushi and getting that slightly off tase. This was a good start to the bento boxes, which didn't disappoint. For starters we had the miso soup, which was better than many miso soups we've had in the past, it was very fresh and flavorful. The Mongolian beef and California roll were flavorful and the gyoza was crisp. Hubs liked the salmon and tuna roll that his bento box came with. They also offer a variety of sushi rolls, Asian grill entrees like NY steak and shrimp, or Nigiri/Sashimi which I always remind my husband not to order, since this never fills him up and he eats half of my dinner. His answer is he developed a taste when he was in Japan and it's now his favorite dish. In addition to all the tasty food, the restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere, the staff is friendly and helpful and this is a place that you look forward to visiting again.

When we ask questions about different items in the menu, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We have a food allergy at the table, so we just wanted to make sure that whatever we ordered didn't coincide with that. If we ever go back to this area, we definitely want to go back to this place. All of the food was so good. It put us in a food coma, and we slept like babies the rest of the night.

We made a reservation in advance through their Google system for a party of eight, and to their credit, it's a small, cozy spot and our table was ready and set up when we arrived. Service moved very quickly, so quickly that our hot meals arrived before our drinks! The hibachi steak, chicken, shrimp was hot and fresh, but nothing particularly memorable - just simply executed. I'd recommend asking for the soy ginger and yum yum sauces on the side to enhance the experience. The sushi rolls were slightly better than supermarket sushi. They offer an extensive specialty roll menu, but many are heavy on shrimp/krab and covered in mayo-based sauces, which seemed to mask a slightly fishy taste in the fish. Service struggled a bit with accuracy. Our server had difficulty remembering who ordered what, so as dishes came out - soup, salad, mains - I ended up directing plates to the right person. If orders are being written down in sequence, it would help to refer back to that when serving. Overall, it was okay, but not compelling enough for a quick return. None of the desserts stood out, so we ended up going elsewhere to finish the night.

Lots of pick up orders backing up so restaurant seemed fuller than normal. We were greeted just fine and picked a booth seat. The server arrived and promptly took our drink and appetizer order- shumai and edammae. However, we asked if they can make it spicy and she said "no problem". Drinks and appetizers arrived, with plain edammae. She told us she forgot to tell them to make spicy. In lieu of spice, she gave us Sriracha. Wasn't really what we were going for. We attempted to add salt to the edammae, which it was lacking. It became EXTREMELY difficult to get the salt grinder lid off. It was stuck! In this process, we knocked over our fresh beer, on table and floor. This accident was a result of prying open the stuck lid. Our server came over a threw a few napkins on table and floor. Owner came by to put slip caution sign over mess. Please note, the entire time we were there, NO ONE mopped the beer up OR wiped our sticky beer table. And when server finally came back she asked if we wanted a water to replace, because if we order a new beer, she would be charging us. I was shocked! I asked for napkins since we used all cleaning up beer. She brings 3, there are 4 of us. Sake order was only half full, typically fuller in past. Forgot to brings kids drinks. They brought us our bill after apps, not realizing we never got our rolls. We also were never given little dishes for our soy. The whole beer experience really bothered me. Like this is how they handle an accident due to their product being difficult to use? They whole experience was terrible. 3 stars because the food was good but everything else not so much.

I'm not fond of sitting near the bathroom or being able to see inside the bathroom when someone opens the bathroom door while sitting at my table, but at least when the door opened it didn't smell like a restaurant bathroom commonly does. We ordered the potato Korean corn dog because it looked interesting. It was fun to try, but definitely not something I'd order again. I pulled the stick out of the and cut it half so my husband and I could share. However, the half that I had had all the hot dog which was not a full hot dog. My husband's half ended up having all the mozzarella and no dog. My husband ordered the spicy prime rib tonkotsu and I ordered the lunch prime rib tonkotsu. The portion size seemed to be the same but the lunch order didn't have all the same extras in the bowl. The noodles of both bowls were pretty bland, rubbery, and left a film in my mouth. My husband's broth was slightly more flavorful, but that is because of the spicy bomb in it. All in all, the broth was pretty lacking and did not build up any flavor. The fish cake in my husband's bowl was not good at all. It tasted like gummy pasta with a gross flavor. The seaweed sheet in the bowls was weird and only added a fishy unpleasant taste. Our server was nice, but the food is disappointing. My husband has made ramen bowls at home before and all I can say is his have much more flavorful and he's not a chef. The food is okay, but I wouldn't recommend and we won't be returning.
