Sabah has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 15 years, and she is incredible. Before Sabah, I had a really hard time finding someone who understood how to cut and style curly hair. Sometimes a cut would look fine when I straightened my hair but the shape would be off when I wore it curly. Sabah is an expert at cutting my hair so it looks good no matter how I style it. She really listens when you tell her how high or low maintenance you want your cut to be and works with you to find the perfect outcome. Sabah is also an expert at coloring hair. ‼CAUTION‼ SEVERE OOZING SCALP BURN, PERMANENT HAIR LOSS AND BALD SPOT!!! I came in for a balayage appointment on Saturday 11/12. My appointment was with Jenny. Unfortunately, my scalp got severely burned in the process (2nd degree burns. I didn't realize how bad it was as I've never experienced a burned scalp before. Once I left the salon the pain wasn't going away and I felt the back of my head and the hair was clumped and hard (because my burns were raw and oozing a clear sticky liquid). I had a doctor appointment that Monday, 11/15, and I was told I have second degree burns as a result. I also followed up with a specialist who did a punch biopsy of the burn spot and the result came back showing no live hair follicles. Prior to starting the hair coloring process, I had indicated that I've never had my hair dyed before. However no patch test was performed. I also expressed a concern of anything that could potentially irritate my scalp touching the skin. Which is why I opted for a balayage as I've read that it doesn't touch the scalp and the process doesn't use foils. However, Jenny, the hair dresser told me she does her balayage using foils, as I am not a professional, I trusted her. She placed the heat lamps next to my head and left. Which is when my scalp got burned. One of the most baffling things to me is I have reached out to the salon via email starting on Tuesday, November 15th (as they are closed Sunday's and Mondays) I attached photos and explained what happened, at that time not knowing that this would be a permanent hair loss situation. I expressed that I do not think I should have been charged for this and I asked Sasha to either call me or reply via email, I ended up following up about 4 more times in the past couple of months giving the salon the opportunity to make this better. I never got a single response, nothing even acknowledging my emails. I went to the salon to get more confidence and as result my confidence is shattered my hair volume feels like it is half of what it used to be and I have a permanent bald spot! All of which I was charged money for. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Needless to say I will not be returning to this Salon ever again. And hopefully my review can serve as a caution to others. read more

I wanted to give this salon a try but my experience was awful. I came in for a pastel purple balayage and ended up with grey hair and just a little bit of purple. During the process I was extremely uncomfortable, I was overheating so I asked for a fan (only had it for a while and then they took it away.) The chair was very uncomfortable too. And I was there for 10 hours!!! The stylist did offer me once some water but still because of the virus I couldn't eat inside. She spent most of the time bleaching my hair. She separated every strand of my hair which I thought that was cool but I don't understand why it took so much time. My hair is not even that long and is fine hair. And not very dark either. She had an assistant that was helping her sometimes but still took forever. After she bleached my hair and put color which she did in a rush, for like 20 minutes. After she took some pictures of my hair. I told her I wanted more purple and she brush it off saying I should get oVertone and retouch it myself. I got the product because she did recommend me the product before so I can keep my color longer. Days later she text me sending me the pictures that I begged her to sent me and said she would offer me a touch up within the next month. I was asking her more questions and she takes to long to respond so I just gave up and decided to write this review. Also Erica, had a weird attitude, she mentioned nobody wanted to work on my hair because it's a hard color to work with and I just didn't feel welcomed there. So beware of this place! Honestly, the worst haircut I have ever had. It's been a week and I'm still so upset with how the stylist butchered my hair. I even stopped the stylist mid cut to tell her I didn't like what she was doing, she was cutting it too short. She assured me she wasn't cutting it short and it was fine. I was in tears when she finished (and she called me hormonal). I now have to wear my hair in a pony tail for the next 6 months to hide what a horrible job she did. (Meanwhile I can barely even get my hair in a pony tail with how short she cut it). read more

Marissa completely ruined my hair. My regular colorist was out of town so I went in for a consultation and she seemed to completely comprehend what I was asking for and I was told she was one of the most senior stylists. I was looking for a light update on my highlights (bronde balayage). The price was on the higher end ($360) but I thought it was added assurance that she is an expert. When I came back the finished result was horrible patches of black, red, white, and brown. I literally looked like Stephen Tyler. Not only that, one entire side of my "trim" was 1.5 inches longer than the other. Unbelievable. I was in tears for days. I called the owner who initially refused to refund me saying Marissa can fix it. I explained to him that I absolutely feared going back to her and sent him images. He thankfully acknowledged it was unacceptable. It's been a few months and I'm still dealing with the repercussions. I ultimately had to get my thin hair bleached to fix it and am now in the process of growing out my hair. I hate to leave a bad review but I hope this helps warn others... If you're looking for something completely unexpected then maybe this is the place for you. But for me, it was the worst hair experience of my life. read more

My five year old and I came here for mommy daughter hair day. Erica gave us the VIP treatment, especially my daughter! Everyone there was so friendly and made her feel at home! She was practically the star of the day and she even yelled out: Today is the best day ever! She even got a shampoo massage and was just so relaxed! A good barber does more than cut hair. For almost 25 years, Rick K at the Shear Shack cut my hair. I looked forward to catching up with Rick and solving the world's problems. Rick retired and I started shaving my head. However, my son still needed a quality barber. He visited Sasha Salon at the urging of my wife, and Isei R. is now his stylist. My son has been 100% satisfied with the services he has received at Sasha Salon for the past 5+ years. I can certainly testify that after a visit with Isei (pronounced E-say), my son's hair looks great. And Isei does more than cut hair... he connects with his clients and does everything he can to ensure a visit to his station is an enjoyable experience. My son truly looks forward to checking in and catching up with Isei. In my view, a review of Sasha Salon would not be complete without some personal commentary... so, here we go. I will be part of a wedding party later this summer, and while I won't need a haircut, I will need some professional grooming. I made an appointment with Isei for a beard trim. He greeted me warmly and set to work right away. He greatly improved the appearance of my beard (I wish he could do the same with the rest of my face). Not only Marissa didn't achieve the BASIC color I asked her for, she was misleading for telling me that semi-permanent toner will stain my hair to then tell me she can completely remove it within 24h. She was also very defensive and blamed me for choosing the wrong swatches although I showed her the ref pic and confirmed that the color is achievable. Yesterday was my birthday and this totally ruined my day. I waited until today but I got no genuine apology, just defensive arguments. I will list all the pics as reference as well. So, I'm naturally blonde and you'd think asking for a brown color would be the most BASIC think to ask for. Not the case! I showed Marissa my reference picture and she assured me that's totally achievable. I was then taken to wash my hair and when I was in the most uncomfortable position, she gives 6 swatches to choose from to mix my color. HOW am I supposed to know what will the results be if I choose those colors, I showed you the reference picture and as a hair stylist you should know better! The first results turned in a dark red/brown, NOT what I asked for. She then tells me: no worries I can remove the color completely within 24h, just let me know. I tell her to do so because I want brown not red hair. I showed her the 2nd reference picture and she tells me that's a completely different color compared to the 1st one but she can do it. I repeated a million times to please not make my hair look red, and she assured me she got it. The results? I turned even more RED the second time. So, she is able to see the different undertones in the reference pictures but she cannot see the difference between red and brown? read more

As a first time customer, my experience with Sasha Salon was wonderful. They accommodated me for an appointment the same day. I went for a full head colour. My stylist was Marissa who was an amazing person to work with. She was thorough and explained each step of the process even when I didn't ask. Every time I go in I am unsure of what I want, I'll show Jenny a couple inspo pictures and let her do her magic on my hair and she has never failed me. And the weird thing is that finding Sasha Salon was a total fluke...I was pretty new to the area, hadn't found or even looked for a hair stylist, and at a certain point during the pandemic, I was desperate for a haircut and called a ton of places--but they were either closed or booked. I got lucky. Sasha Salon had one opening and it was with Erica. And she turns out to be the best hair stylist I've ever had! I was kinda nervous, but also desperate. Well, she really took the time to "get" me, make me feel comfortable, understand what I wanted, and then she applied her skills and know-how and gave me a great haircut! Lorenzo at Sasha Salon is amaaaazing! I've been wanting to start my journey to blonde hair, but was hesitant due to bad past experiences. I found Lorenzo through Instagram and LOVED what I saw! I scheduled my appointment two weeks out and planned for a full day. I had super long hair with a lot of black box dye in it. I told Lorenzo I wanted to cut it short and go as light as possible without damaging my hair. He suggested I go with an a-line style cut to elongate my face. Phil Afflack joined Sasha this year after being my "cutter" (??) for many years at Juut... I would follow him ANYWHERE ! He cuts hair perfectly each and every time.. He is totally amazing.
