I used to love getting the cheese bureg and Lahmajun from here but I will no longer support this business. As others mentioned, service is extremely slow and they just continue increasing the prices and lessening the amount they include in the food. The lahmajun I recently purchased had barely any meat on it and they are now making them half the size of what they used to make it. $1.54 for each lahmajun where you just taste dough. Very disappointed in their service.

Hidden gem inside Jon's. They have really good items. They have spicy cheese pies and potato pies. Absolutely amazing. Try it out!

Freshly made Armenian pastries. Very authentic. The super thin one tasted meaty. Will be back for those. Workers seems nice.

We saw this place next door after having lunch/dinner at Boiling Pot next door on Sunday. The…read moreplace looked popular with tables filled on the patio and the pastries on display through the window looked intriguing so decided to take a chance and maybe get a small coffee and some pastries to try. There was a young man at the counter who welcomed us with a wonderful smile. He said his name is Said (pronounced Sa-eed) and asked if it was our first time here. We said it was, so he offered to give us some samples of their most popular bake goods. He said it is made of light custard and it's called soft cake and it is traditional pastry from his country in Uzbekistan that his mother bakes all from scratch. In Asia we also don't like overly sweet cakes so we thought it sounded to fit our taste preferences. And we loved it after trying! My mom said it tastes very similar to the cake she had back in Seoul in her childhood she misses fondly, but she could never have that same taste. Just a little sweeter. But the custard and texture of the cake is just the same. We also got the eclair. And it was pretty good too. But definitely recommend the soft cake!! Sooo yummyyy!! I also got the strawberry cold foam matcha latte and my mom got a small americano coffee. She said it's the best coffee she had in a cafe. Of course superb compared to Starbucks or any other coffee franchise. She says American coffee shops always burn their beans so it tastes burnt, but this place roasted the beans just right. And we also loved the strawberry cold foam matcha. I don't know how, but it tasted like really strawberry was in the drink!! My mom said it's the best strawberry milk she ever had here and in Korea! And she wants to order again when we come by next time. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks were all prepared with such care, but given at a reasonable time. Some of these cafes take forever to make your drinks, even Starbucks makes you wait 20 minutes! These other coffee shops make it seem like they're doing some complex chemistry experiment how long it takes for just a drink! But this young guy he makes the drink in under 5 min and it tastes 10x better anything those other coffee shops make, but in less than half the time! I really thought maybe it was really hard making drinks, but this young dude makes it look like a walk in the park, the speed and ease he cranks out the drinks. I think Uzbekistan people must be just built different! and he was also so kind and pleasant taking the time to explain and answer all our questions. Some of these other places wouldn't even bother or make it feel like you're pulling a nail from them the way they grimace. He was so nice we wanted to give a tip, but he even said he didn't want us to. He'd happily accept just our enjoying the food and drinks and would appreciate if we left a review for his cafe. just had to leave a review. Especially after how nice he is. And hearing his story and how it's a family run bakery with the mom baking and son making drinks and running front counter. And an authentic European bakery!! Wow! Aren't we so glad they moved into our neighborhood! A Real quality cafe I didn't even know what I was missing until I stepped into this little shop by mere chance! I Will definitely come by again. And anyone else who discovers this little gem would be so lucky and blessed as us!

I found it to be more moist compared to other crepe cakes I've had. The crunchy napoleon is good too if you like puff pastry. Also tried the honey cake with prunes and that was so soft! Dear Hubby is addicted to this bakery's offerings. We have one of their cafes in Simi Valley, and…read morehe seems to make a run there either every week or every other week. I am grateful that their style seems to be to use less sugar than other bakeries. You can enjoy the sweetness without being overwhelmed by the sugar content. Last weekend we were spending the day with our grandchildren. Adored Grandson was in town from points north for a long weekend. DH had prepared brunch for the family, then we hung out. Later, AG was craving a coffee drink, so the oldest and youngest generation hopped in to the car and went out to get drinks and desserts. Sweet Granddaughter was having a blast, getting attention from 3 of her favorite adults, PLUS getting to pick her own sweets. What more could a six year old want? She's pretty discerning about baked goods, and even got her own tray. We had to pare back some of her selections. AG got his java jolt, and I was able to order a decaf crafted beverage that satisfied my taste buds. $48, four drinks, and multiple pastries to go later, we were headed out the door. Whew! The layout of this particular location is a little odd. Though one can eat in, it doesn't feel like that welcoming of a space. It's mostly about the cases and shelves of baked goods, as far as how the floor plan is set. The counter service people were helpful with answering questions on the options for the drink orders. We did share some of our treats with the parentals at home. The prices at this bakery are very fair. We did get quite a few items.

The first time, the store was messy and the tables dirty. I thought maybe they had a rush hour and hadn't had time to clean. This time, same situation. Tables were dirty, but I thought to myself "we can just wipe them real quick" but lord be hold, no napkins were available at all. We thought ok fine, we'll go find a park to drink our coffee and eat our pastries. We asked for forks. The staff responded "we are out of forks, but we have knives" Um hello? Knives? Really? You are a whole bakery with tables to eat inside (it's literally an invitation) and no forks? How do you offer knives? Terrible. I don't think I will come back. Thankfully for us, their next door neighbor (Ihop) spared a couple of forks for us. Management could do better.
