Beautiful and Amazing artistic nails! Linh is very artist and talented with great personality! Feel like Valentine's Day coming!
i'm a little sad writing this review because i don't like writing bad reviews. anyway, my boyfriend called ahead for me and made an appointment and asked for the total and he was told $45 but when i went to pay i was charged $65. i have only gotten my nails done with acrylic once when i was 14 so i wasn't aware certain designs were extra but if she quoted my boyfriend $45 and saw i wanted extra, she could have let me know before the service began that my designs would be extra. before the service began i showed her a picture of what i wanted and asked if this would be possible and she said yes but that was not the case. on top of that, the nails look nothing like the inspo at all. the lady doing my nails was doing them pretty fast but it was empty so i don't understand the rush. looking at the inspo, the flowers aren't the same, the colors (i asked her to get as close as possible to the colors as possible because there isn't a big color selection), and there are gaps between the colors that should not be there. some of the flowers just seem lazily done/not done right. some of the white flowers even have smudges of brown from not cleaning the tool correctly before switching colors. these were supposed to be my nails for coachella so i wanted them to be done really nice. the lady was also really sweet which is also why i'm sad writing this review. but now unfortunately i have to pay an extra $50-$60 to go to someone else to fix them. i'm really disappointed because the reviews and the pictures from other clients look so amazing. i would ask for a refund but i'm not sure how to go about those kind of things because i don't really get acrylics so i'm not sure what the policy is and what not. if you want a design i recommend going somewhere else. pics below are nails with and without flash + the inspo.
Yet again, another PERFECT set. This has been my favorite nail salon ever since I moved back to the bay and whenever I have to go anywhere else (for convenience purposes) I immediately regret it. I got my nails done 10 days before attending a wedding and this is them AFTER the wedding. Love both my nail ladies as well, they make my day each time
I came here on a Tuesday around 12pm with my sisters and cousin and had a pretty good experience. The place itself is a bit hard to find. You have to park in the lot but the actual shop is towards the left facing the street. If you go towards the gun shop it's in the same building as that store but on the sidewalk. We all wanted to get gel manicures and pedicures and the ladies here are very kind and accommodating. They gave us some free snacks and drinks too! Overall, we had a very nice experience. There's a lot of colors to choose from and the ladies who worked on us, Lynn, Leslie and Mai were all very nice and patient. They are very good listening to what you want with your nails. Lynn also gave us each one free decorated nail which we got to choose from a large set of stickers. They made our feet look beautiful for the pedicure so I would say they're very good at their jobs. The prices are fair, we paid $67 each person for our mani and pedi (both gel)! The downside is that the interior didn't look like the images on yelp so they can do some work there to update the photos to match customer's expectations. It was also a bit hard to communicate which colors we wanted because the numbers on the swatch books didn't match what the ladies where looking for so communication could be improved there. They do have a lot of cute colors though! Overall, I liked coming here and I am happy with my nails! It's a super great place for a basic gel mani and pedi. BRING CASH TO TIP and to pay if you can! There's an ATM in the mini mart near by
Made an appointment for two pedicures and had no issues with rescheduling it to a later time in the day as my boyfriend and I were running late. This place was a little confusing to locate at first because their signage isn't the most visible from the road and it's located in a rather sketchy looking lot. (Gun exchange right next door) Nonetheless, stepping inside their salon helps forget the dreary surroundings. Don't judge a book by its' cover. Inside is a very clean and modern interior which was decorated pleasantly for the holidays with red Santa "hats" on the manicure chairs and a white Christmas tree complete with presents beneath it. The ladies were all very nice and it was fairly empty upon our arrival, with one lady finishing up a manicure on a client. Boyfriend and I were offered mimosas, orange and guava so we ended up choosing. A Hallmark-esque movie was playing on their TV and was conveniently directly across from the pedicure chairs. They have a small section of colors available too look at on the wall upon entry but they hand you a color palette where the rest of their selection is available. Onto the pedicure, they offered each of us a menu to choose from which kind of pedicure service we'd like. Their pedicure prices are a tad higher than what I'm accustomed to seeing, this from a New Yorker. Base pedicures over in my part of the country start at $15, Sassy Nail Bar's base begins at $20 but includes a foot scrub and massage so I assume that's where the extra five bucks are taken into account. Not a major deal breaker, just note that pedicures begin at $20. Their pedicure stations include real arm chairs which are cozy but not my preferred kind of set up. I'd rather the chair be attached to the tub rather than sliding around when trying to get in and out of the chair. My personal preferences aside, their chairs ARE comfortable and appeared clean and fresh with no detectable odors. The tubs are lined with plastic for sanitary purposes. My pedicurist was very soft spoken so it was hard to hear her at times. But she was very nice and took care of my feet. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our pedicures very much. He enjoyed the sugar scrub immensely. The environment is quite relaxing and I was left to dry on the chair for about 15 minutes after my pedicure was over. My pedicurist came back and sprayed my toes and I felt a bit ushered out of the door because I was not fully confident that my toenails were dry enough. That's my only negative about this place. They were empty and I don't recall seeing a drying station so I wish I was allowed to stay a little longer. Although, I suppose I could've just asked but with us being the only customers, it kind of felt awkward? Anyway, not a big deal, I still thoroughly enjoyed my first experience. Unfortunately, I can't speak about their other services as I'm only visiting San Jose but if and when I do find myself in the area, I'm more than comfortable returning here for any nail pampering I might require. I recommend checking them out- and treat yourself to a relaxing pedicure if nothing else!
I checked out this place for the first time and the ladies here were so nice! My friend and I made appointments for mani & pedis and we both agreed that we had some of our best salon massages here. Not gonna lie, I came into the salon with some janky self-done gel nails that I tried removing at home and it was looking rough lmao. Lynn got me right tho and even added little charms that were so cute!! I will definitely be back.

As many have said, don't judge a book by it's cover. I had done thorough research in finding a nail spa decent for my friend who prefers Santana Row and I do not...very clean and cute inside, Tiffany-esque with the colors. Greeted with options of water, tea, and mimosas, with cute jars and striped paper straws. Although I like the chair and bowl for the pedi, you do need some good cushions to support your back or you're easily slouching like me. Plenty of colors to choose from for regular polish to gel, and appreciated that. The employees are very thorough with their work on the customer and take their time. Another plus is the great cheesy rom coms that are on the TV to help pass the time! Parking is plenty but tight here. Would recommend Linh for your manicure, and she is also super responsive when trying to make an appointment as well!

I enjoyed getting my pedicure and nails done today. Very professional and friendly. It's nice. That they remember how you like your nails and remember your name. They also do eyelashes. Turned out beautiful and lasted I recommend this business very relaxing!! read more
I've been to Sassy Nail Bar for a total of four times now and finally had the chance to post a review. I usually do not get my nails done since I prefer to do them myself. However, I do like getting them done for special occasions or just when I feel like being "extra". My nail tech has been Tammy and she has been great. My nails always come out looking fabulous and I always get compliments on them. This place is really cute and clean, but located in an odd plaza. It was a bit hard for me to find the first time, but it's facing the street. P.S: They also offer water, iced tea, or mimosas in cute mason jars. Also, I recommend booking an appointment on Yelp since you'll get a response very quickly. :) read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with the sister. This was a bit hard to find, but if you're in the plaza with the Gun Exchange, you're in the right place. Sassy Nail Bar is located near there, but facing the street (Almaden). We were immediately seated and was offered a drink. My sister got iced tea, which was served in a very cute tumbler. We both got the bunny pedicure (basic pedicure w/ paraffin). Definitely what my feet needed! The color selection is small, but lots of pretty pastel colors, my fave. Quality is great and the workers are amazing. I was fortunate to have the same girl doing my gel manicure. They needed some TLC too. This place accepts cash and credit cards! Credit cards is a plus since most places that I go to are cash only (very annoying). You can also add tip to your credit card transaction! Side note: They were playing Ed Sheeran the whole time, which I loved! Def made the experience better! I'd definitely go back to Sassy Nail Bar! read more

I would highly recommend this little spot for a quick and fun nail service experience! I walked in and was immediately accommodated for a dip powder manicure with accent nail art - in and out in about an hour. I had a great experience with these kind and fun ladies - Lynn was who I had work on me and she's the best! I'll be back in 3 weeks for another mani and next time add in a pedicure too. read more

SHADY BUSINESS STEER CLEAR: Called and made an appointment my girlfriend to get a gel manicure. I was told it would be $25. The lady did the manicure (which looked like a 4 year old painted her nails) finished up and said it would be $45 since she had to use "special" gel. Typically a business would tell you before they do the work it's going to be double the price not just hit you with a bill. Got home 4 hours later and one of the nails already fell off. Great "special gel". You might as well take $45 and flush it down the toilet. read more

I don't usually get my nails done so I didn't know where to go. I found Linh's Sassy Nail Salon near my home. I think she did a great job. She was quick, professional and filed my nails just the way I like them! In the past I have had nail techs paint my nails too thick....this time my nails feel so good. I will go back. read more

Went to Sassy Nails for the first time today. Lynn is very sweet and generous. She did a beautiful job on my nails and her prices are very affordable. Make sure to make an appointment because it is usually only her working. Come check her out! I will definitely return! read more
If I could pick a word to describe their work here, it would be 'Meticulous'. I finally got a regular pedicure there because 1) my toes were in need and 2) I was about to take some engagement pictures, along with a gel manicure. Regular pedicure was $20 and gel was $25. Both were fantastic. As most times, I was offered iced tea, water, or a guava mimosa (extra snaps for it being guava!) and then began working on both services at the same time. For both services though, they paid full attention to detail and gave a GREAT leg massage. (It was fantastic!) Additionally, they also literally manicured my nails, surrounding skin, and cuticles, and applied the polish expertly so it not only was on just my nail, but to the edge of the sides (a lot of other places miss this)! They also shaped it perfectly and checked in several times to make sure I thought they looked okay. And even though I went alone, everyone was so friendly and we talked almost the entire time! And while the the salon is small, the place is very clean and cute and great for a girls day :) TIP: You can call or contact them over yelp for an appointment and they're pretty responsive for the most part. read more
