Teriyaki fish. Healthy eating on the go.
    Michelle A.

I'm definitely a fan of this place. Of course having it close to my workplace helps. I'm hooked on their soups. Not all of them though. I came out there late one afternoon and they only had some sort of chicken soup left and it was very boring and kinda blah. Not sure which one it was but I will not order it again. My fav is the bbq chicken noodle with a little Pho sauce. OMG! And I eat my soup with chopsticks cuz I am bad*ss baby! Don't let the long lines fool you. It's quick! And it's 5 bucks! What else do you need?

Rice bowl. (Brown rice, fresh veggies, Korean BBQ chicken) Yum!

Heaping portions of great food for an even greater price. Love! I had the rice bowl (Brown rice, fresh veggies w/ Korean BBQ chicken). It was yumtastic!! For $6 I purchased lunch AND dinner (I couldn't eat it all in one sitting so I'm saving the rest for din din). The chicken was tender and flavorful, the rice was cooked perfectly (not soggy or crunchy), and the veggies were deliciously fresh. You go, momo! 5 stars :-)

    Pad Thai...
    ack c.

Huge disappointment! I usually keep on going past this food truck despite the long line, but there was no line & I thought I'd give it a shot. I chose the pad thai... The description on the website describes the pad thai as Pad Thai - Traditional rice noodles with fresh eggs, scallions, sprouts and carrots. It was a disgusting mass of grey chicken sitting on noodles with no egg, scallions and a few sprouts. It is such a poor excuse for pad thai that i bothered to take a pix to post. Ick! Disgusting! Never again! Did I mention that it was cold! And note like this is meant to be cold, I mean, this was warm, but not anytime recently and not with the goal of making a cold noodle dish.

Thai curry tofu on brown rice
    Kay Y.

Came here for some quick eats during my lunch break. I was impressed to find vegan options and actually they give you quite a lot of food! It's pretty healthy stuff too. I got the Thai curry tofu. Brown rice and salad are in the mix. But after finishing it, not sure if it's something I would order again. I would though, come back to try a different dish. For the $7-$9, it's not the cheapest asian food truck. But being the only open place on MIT campus during the mid-afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised.

We walked into a space with an energetic atmosphere, an open kitchen, a lively dining room, and a contemporary design that makes the restaurant feel both casual and polished. The layout encourages ordering several dishes for the table, and the variety across the menu makes it easy to build a meal that feels different with each visit. The small plates are the biggest draw because they let you try a wide range of flavors without committing to a single entrée. The pork belly buns are one of the signature dishes, featuring tender pork inside soft steamed buns with a balance of sweet and savory flavors. The dan dan noodles are another standout with their rich, spicy sauce, while the Brussels sprouts have developed a strong following thanks to their crispy texture and bold seasoning. We also appreciated that many dishes are available as half portions, making it easier to sample more of the menu without ordering too much food. The menu offers a good balance between familiar favorites and more creative dishes, with each plate feeling thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. There are also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, making it easy for groups with different dietary preferences to find something they enjoy. The service matched the pace of the restaurant during our visit. The staff were attentive, dishes came out steadily as they were ready, and the servers were helpful with recommendations for building a meal around multiple small plates. The restaurant stays busy throughout the evening, so making a reservation is a good idea, especially for dinner or larger groups. Myers+Chang is one of the better places in Boston for creative Asian-inspired small plates. The combination of bold flavors, shareable portions, lively atmosphere, and consistently strong service makes it a restaurant that is easy to return to, especially if you enjoy trying a variety of dishes instead of ordering a traditional entrée.

It is soooo good! The menu has so much variety that my only complaint is that I can't physically eat a fraction of the things that look good! Today's awesomeness according to the eaters: Chicken wings- outstanding, required if you like chicken! Meatballs- very tasty and tender and seductively fragrant with a touch of tang. Yum. Chicken dumplings- deliciously! (I asked for one word, there you have it Braised rabbit pasta- creamy but delicate, slightly tangy, tender and succulent! Short rib beef bimbab- creative, nice cut sticky glaze beef, lots of tasty textures Cajun Tilapia- The fish, the green tomatoes, the shrimp, and the sauce each have unique textures and flavors that made me smile down to the last desperate plate scrape! I recommend Moonshine 152 to everybody that visits Boston. It checks so many boxes that as I sit here waiting for dessert (pavlova, excited!) I wish again I could stuff in some of these other entrees! ENJOY and tell us about the other dishes!

TLDR: Potentially…read moreone of my favorite Chinese restaurants in all of Massachusetts! Beautiful interior, centrally located, and delicious, high-quality food. Will definitely find a reason to come back here soon. ------ FOOD: 1. [MUST TRY] STIR-FRIED CABBAGE W/ PORK BELLY (5/5) Presentation was phenomenal (in a clay pot with its own burner underneath to keep it hot). The portion was much larger than expected, and most importantly, it tasted incredible. Generous amounts of pork in this, and the sauce was authentic and addicting. 2. SCALLION CHICKEN (5/5) Another great choice. This was a huge portion with lots of tender chicken, and the scallion was present without being overpowering. 3. CRISPY BEEF WITH FRIED DOUGH STICKS (5/5) I was expecting Chinese you tiao but these were actually the small, ultra crispy manhua twists! Paired with the beef, this was a large and unique dish that I loved. The crispiness of the mahua made this a textural delight to eat. 4. MANGO SAGO DESSERT (5/5) Big portion, wonderful assortment of toppings including grapefruit, mango, sago, and popping balls over a creamy dessert soup base. 5. PEKING DUCK (4/5) I think I'm a tough critic since I just came back from Beijing and had so much Peking duck there. We ordered the half portion here and it had a generous amount of meat for not being the full portion. There were an assortment of accompaniments, including pineapple (new to me) and sugar (like the Beijing style) which were welcome additions. The wrappers were steamed well and didn't curl up on the edges. Overall this was a solid Peking duck, but the meat wasn't as standout as I was hoping. 6. STEAMED PORK SOUP DUMPLING (4/5) Solid soup dumplings. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely hit the spot. 7. SAUTEED PEA SPROUTS (4/5) Another solid classic. 8. PORK MEATBALL IN CRAB MEAT SAUCE (4/5) This was the most unique thing we ordered. I've never had a shi zi tou meatball with crab meat sauce before. The meatball itself was large (maybe size of a tennis ball), tender, and fatty, as it should be. It was then drowned in a generous lake of traditional crab meat sauce. If you're not a fan of crab meat then this might be a bit too fishy for you, but honestly it all combined surprisingly well and I grew to like this dish more and more with each bite. I wasn't the biggest fan to start, but by the end I wouldn't have minded getting another one! ------ AMBIANCE / ENVIRONMENT: * The interior has the classic Asian style of decor, but you can tell it was recently built / renovated because everything felt new and fresh. * The ambiance also felt more new-school luxurious vs. the typical Asian establishments that are more no-frills with as many tables packed in as possible * You're still somewhat close to the tables around you, but it's not overwhelming during lunch time and we still felt like we had enough space regardless * There's a bar area at the front of the restaurant and then a large, spacious dining room in the back * This is a great place for a date or a meaningful family gathering * Right outside is Boston Common, making this restaurant very well-located for lunch before or after a nice day in the park. While there's lots of parking around the park, a spot itself can be hard to come by, so your best bet might be to use the nearby parking garage instead ------ SERVICE: * Overall the service was great and quick. They did forget our tea, but when we asked for it later they apologized profusely and were quick to bring it out for us * This place fills up quickly so be sure to come early if you don't have a reservation or if you're a big enough group, make a reservation for your desired dining time

JiangNan Boston is an upscale Chinese restaurant that focuses on elevated regional dishes, modern…read morepresentation, and a dining experience that feels more refined than a typical Chinese spot in the city. We walked into a polished, contemporary space with a clean interior design that leaned toward a higher-end, date-night or group-dinner atmosphere rather than casual takeout dining. The lighting was warm and the layout comfortable, with a steady buzz that made the room feel lively without being chaotic. The menu highlights some of the more popular and recognizable Chinese dishes, but executed in a more premium style. We ordered a few items and found standouts like Peking duck, soup dumplings, and seafood-based plates plated carefully and designed to feel more restaurant-forward than street-style. The Peking duck was carved tableside, which added a layer of ceremony to the meal, and the skin had a good crispness that held up against the hoisin and pancakes. The soup dumplings were well made, with a thin wrapper and a rich broth that came through clearly. The flavors were solid and well prepared, with an emphasis on presentation and consistency across dishes. The dining experience itself felt structured and intentional, especially with dishes like Peking duck that were prepared as part of a more formal service. The pacing of the meal felt more drawn out, but that aligned with the upscale style they are aiming for. Service was generally attentive, and the environment was comfortable for longer meals or group gatherings. The main tradeoff is value. While the quality is good and the execution is polished, the pricing felt a bit elevated compared to the portion sizes and what we have gotten at other comparable Chinese restaurants in the area. It sits in that space where you are paying more for atmosphere, branding, and presentation as much as the food itself. Overall, JiangNan Boston is best suited for when you want a more refined, upscale Chinese dining experience rather than a casual meal. The food quality is solid and the environment is polished, but it lands in a space where the pricing feels slightly higher than the value of the dishes alone.

This place is popping! Even though it was later in the evening, the restaurant was still really full. However we didn't have to wait too long to get seated. I loved the decor in here, such neat details and even a column with a dragon on it! So cool. It's a dark restaurant so it was hard to read the menu, but otherwise, it's a very cool vibe here and feels very lounge-y. Our server was awesome, he was friendly and explained the restaurant style to us - it's like tapas, you order a few items to share and recommended 2 - 3 items per person would be sufficient. It was only 2 of us and we shared 3 items total, and that was more than enough. We apparently arrived so late that our server informed us that we only had a short time before the kitchen was closing for the night. But he said that he would return before the kitchen closed in case we wanted to order additional menu items. We were intrigued by the Japanese/Peruvian fusion menu and tried a few things: Kuromitsu Brussel Sprouts Spicy Salmon Fritas Bo Bo Chicken I was most excited about the Bo Bo Chicken a it had a sichuan chili oil and I love spicy, but it was not spicy at all (to me). But the flavor was really good. My favorite was the Brussels sprouts. I loved the char on them and the ginger black honey on it was so good. I don't eat salmon, but my friend said the Salmon Fritas was great and really enjoyed them. I would say this was the best meal we had on our trip!

My drink came after 15 mins and then we had to remind the waiter about his whiskey. That took another 10. We started with the chicken bao buns and the samosas. Both spectacular! My only complaint is the little size for the samosa size. For our mains we got the short rib and the white butter chicken. The butter chicken could've used a bit more chicken for the price and was frankly a bit tough. The sauce was great. The short rib was flavorful and packed the perfect punch. Dipping the garlic naan in both sauces was my fav part!! Overall an ok experience. I want to give the restaurant grace because it was very packed but service was poor. I think we had 4 different staff members help us total which probably led to lots of miscommunication.
