Burnt ends on the left. Brisket on the right. Complete with sauces!

What a great find!!! We were rushing through the grocery store nearby, smelled at sweet BBQ in the air, saw SAUCED, and just had to make a visit! We bought a simple sampling to-go of burnt ends and brisket. They included three sauces. Burnt ends - unsauced, purely the burnt end straight off the brisket (as opposed to saucing them up and reheating to caramelize the sauce), great bark, and not cut all the way through but we worked through the struggle gladly ;) Brisket - good flavor, but just slightly dry (maybe bc we brought it home). (My husband prefers a larger smoke ring, the red shading below the surface of the meat.) Just the right amount of fat. Original sauce - sweet and delicious! Bold - pretty spicy! And good flavor. Honey Mustard - bold flavors. Bold in the honey and in the mustard! Simple order. Satisfied customers. Yum!!!

Great little mountain bbq dive in a very cool town. The ribs, brisket and sides were on point. Good smokey flavor on the meat. Homemade sauce was delicious and worked well with the rub. More than enough food. The whole menu looked fantastic. Service was good. Staff were friendly. Will be back for sure!

    Gobbler

Always a great stop ever disappointing flavor quality always spot on. Queso Mac and cheese of the chart had the gobbler so good turkey smoke flavor and moisture perfect and never go wrong with the hand cut fries

Loaded Mac n Cheese with Burnt Ends as the meat to load the Mac.

Brisket was great. Pulled pork was fair to good. Burnt ends were dry and overly burnt. The beans, potato salad and Mac n cheese were all good. Portion size was good and prices were about average for what you would expect to pay for BBQ these days. The place is fairly small but they have a reasonable amount of seating. Music level is just about right. Our food came out quickly and was all fresh. One down side was they were sold out on all beer. Was really wanting a beer with my BBQ.

    Gobbler turkey sandwich

I had the Gobbler turkey sandwich. Sandwich was really food. I also had a fried apple pie which was also delicious. Service was great

Pretty dang good BBQ! That brisket was perfect. Oh, try the cookies too. It also was soooo good. I had to crawl out I was so full!

Was in town for the day and we were looking for some food. When we pulled in it was pretty empty at first. Thought this is not a good sign. Good thing we stayed. Food was fantastic! My brisket was so moist and flavorful. Ribs were great! There was about 7 of us and everyone was very happy with their food. It was a hot humid day and the beer was cold! Place got busy pretty quick and several people actually came in just for take out. This will definitely be a regular stop when we come to this town. Our waitress was very good and hilarious. She made our visit even better. You have to try this place.

When driving in area we saw this BBQ spot and wanted to try it out. The location has parking and you order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. I did the pulled pork special with chips. The pulled pork was juicy. I tried the house bbq sauce and it was alright in flavor. My mom tried the loaded pork fries and they were delicious. The fries are hand cut and are very flavorful. I would recommend it to BBQ lovers

We are staying at Hogsveil, and on the restaurant sheet, Sauced was recommended. Because the Hubs' last name is Saucedo, AND the sheet said best Mac and cheese around it was a no-brainer. It was no lie... Holy moly, the Mac and cheese is totally amazing! He got brisket and sausage, and I got brisket and smoked bologna. I love bologna... but if you don't, the smoked bologna will change your mind. Hubs looked at me and said... this isn't bologna. The brisket was very tender, and all 3 sauces were very good and with their own amount of kick. We thoroughly enjoyed sour lunch and the company of Shastah. She took great care of us and not being from the area gave us great recommendations for things to do and see. Go by and see them!

Good bbq and AMAZING wings. Their hours have gotten me a couple times now. Always seem to be closed when I'm coming through the area.

More important--when the vendor (in a food establishment) is TOLD of a food allergy, there is an obligation... to the health and welfare of the customer. I'm in town for a special event. Well, anytime I am able to justify a trip to Eureka it's special. It requires specific effort to make (that) long drive, and endure the seriously major inconveniences of parking (not to mention navigating the maze of hills, dales, steep roads/streets, etc). But once there, I have favorite shops and vendors (and miss former ones). Bombadil's is out of the way for my 'normal route' yet it caught my eye--and I'm never shy to try any food truck or hole in the wall. I set cap to try it out. Saturmorn I had just secured an espresso at a nearby coffeehouse and enroute to my return to the hotel I spied a vehicle parked at Bombadil's. I pulled in to see 'what was up.' Was breakfast in the cards? I was sitting in my car in the parking lot next to this other vehicle. I'm on my Yelp trying verify whether or not they served breakfast when, behold the (owner?) came up and offered to help. I asked her, and she said no--no breakfast. But lunch and dinner is available. Questions ensued--as is wont when I have owners captive. I asked about her wares, she bragged that right now they're offering grilled peaches. I bring up my food allergies and she assured me accommodations are simple. The rest of that day and the next, as I'm traipsing in and out of establishments all over Eureka (and at the special event I'd be attending) all learned of my 'peach hamburger' plans I had to grad my order and head to my event. Believe me that was IRKED at how LONG it took. My order smelled 'odd.' No time to look at it. I didn't find out until AFTER the event for me to check on my meal. Who wants to guess? NO cole slaw! Instead I was given fries!!!! Okay, also my burger did NOt get the onions as discussed extensively. And I'm also disappointed that the grilled peach was NOT slices like tomato (and she could have done that)!, it was awkward wedges. Whatever. The BIG deal is that Inhave a food allergy!!! and they served me my food allergy food. AND served it WITH/Adjaveny to the other food. Disappointed! Very disappointed..

The decor in the second room feels as if you have walked into a Victorian parlor with a mix of speakeasy. I loved the art which was from local artist and available to purchase! The service was great. Our server was attentive as much as she could be. It was really busy but our order was taken quickly, our food came out pretty fast, and we were checked in on a couple of times so no complaints! They have an area where they sit out 4 different kinds of coffee (including their house blend and a decaf) that is called their endless cup. Once seated, you can walk over and serve yourself (sweeteners and creamer are there as well) so no need to wait if you need some coffee! I think it was just 65 cents. I also ordered one of their special seasonal iced coffees as well. My boyfriend got a seasonal match drink. All of them including their signature blend of coffee are delicious! The food was awesome. We got the spicy cheese grits loaded with eggs, veggies, and bacon. A huge platter! A berry stuffed pancake and a biscuit as well. Everything was scrumptious! I loved that the berries were stuffed into the pancake and not just on top. The spicy cheese grits did have a kick to them! We shared all of the items and both agreed everything was delicious! Definitely a place I will return to on my next visit!!
