Stopped in to try this spot with my boyfriend. The service was good--manager/owner even gave us a sample of the ribs! That was great because I'd actually get the ribs the next time. My boyfriend got the pulled pork and he really enjoyed it! I got the two meat plate with sausage and the brisket. I really enjoyed both, but I wanted it to be a little hotter (in temperature)...for my sides I got baked beans and fries. The beans were probably my least favorite--no real flavor. All of the sudden it seems like more and more BBQ spots are opening up throughout Fayetteville. On my first trip into Sauced, I was promptly greeted by the staff and informed that they were completely out of brisket and pork. I checked my watch and it was just about 6pm, prime dinner time so that was incredibly disappointing. With very limited menu options I elected to try the smoked wings. Initial expectations were very high as the wings came out and were the full wing (drum and flat in one) to my knowledge nowhere else in town serves them this way. Unfortunately, the wings lacked much a smoked flavor and were overpowered by a run of the mill hot sauce. There are much better smoked wings at a handful of other local bbq places. I hope to try again and see if the main part of the menu provides a better experience. read more

We grabbed this food to go while in town for the weekend after deciding not to wait for 35 minutes to eat at another BBQ place in town. I am so glad that we made this choice. The menu is small and unassuming but these people do BBQ right!! Their slogan "Best Butts in town" is not incorrect. Absolutely perfect burnt ends. Tender and juicy pulled pork. We ordered the pulled pork and 1/2 rack of ribs. Both were delicious and I'm pretty sure we got more than a half rack. There were offered 4 different types of sauce. Went here with a group to try it out and was very impressed with the speed and quality of service, portion sizes and the flavor. Everything was delicious. The baked beans were amazing, with nice sized chunks of meat in with the beans. The mac n cheese was extremely creamy and tasted wonderfully cheesy. I love that they do whole wings, not just the two joint kind. the brisket was tender and perfectly cooked. All 3 of their sauces are great, though my favorite was the chipotle mustard, it pairs perfectly with their sausage. The fries are large cut and well seasoned. The slaw is very fresh tasting, not too mayo-y and makes a great break from the rich flavors of the meats. The portion sizes are very large. I easily split a 3 meat sampler with someone and still we had leftovers. They also offer weekly specials, and I will definitely be back for their half priced wings on a Wednesday soon. read more

This place was recommended by someone I know. Of course the first thing I did was read the reviews. In NWA, I am a BIG BIG Wright's bbq fan. So when i read the reviews I got excited. Some even said it's better than Wright's. So of course I had to try. Let me go ahead say that whoever thinks Sauced is better than Wright's is not an intelligent person. I would even say Sassy's red house has better bbq. For a restaurant named "sauced", you'd expect their bbq sauce to be outstanding and I can assure you it's not. Guys and gals, trust me on this. Or go if you want and inevitably waste your money. Brisket was dry, no bark, flavor wasn't great. Pulled pork was below average. Wasn't the worst, wasn't the best. Sausage was mediocre, but the only part of my meal I enjoyed. Mac and cheese was no better than crafts Mac and cheese. Baked beans was not good. I didn't even finish that. I haven't had the ribs so I can't speak to those. But I'm gonna assume it's not worth the try. read more

This place has amazing barbecue. I actually didn't know barbecue could be this good. I sampled the ribs, brisket and pulled pork and they were all amazing. The beans were the best I've ever had and I'm not usually into beans. Same with the homemade chips. Wow. The only thing that fell short for em was the coleslaw. A bit too many celery seeds which made it a bit bitter without a tangy zing. It needs more salt and maybe some vinegar or something tart. I'm being super picky though and we were all very happy with our meal. I also liked how they had old fashioned sodas in glass bottles with sugar instead of corn syrup. read more

I Just walked into Sauced on Dickson, around 11am, super hungry and excited to try something new. I was greeted with an incredible smell and excellent customer service where they asked me how I was doing and explained the meat and side packed menu that looked absolutely delicious. I just finished eating at home, I got the Brisket sandwich, some sausage, and a side of coleslaw and mac and cheese. The food was fantastic and I'll for sure be going back. Awesome place read more

Witnessed an employee using a rag to wipe tables as well as the INSIDE of the bbq bottle with the same rag same wipe, small selection of beer on tap served in Cheap Plastic cups. 1.5 hours till close ran out of ribs (understandable), brisket and sausage. Their pulled pork had an yellow oily substance trying to mask the dryness of the pork, brisket dry and served cold, turkey was the best meat served but not worth going back for.
