We weren't in the mood for a full sit down meal on our last night in Eureka Springs, so we decided to give Pecker's a try for something quick-ish. We were expecting a counter service place, but it's actually table service for the most part. For fountain drink refills, they let you go up to the machine yourself whenever you need one, which I had no problem with. The inside is nice and clean, with fun art all over the walls. As for the food, it was all high-quality and extremely filling. We started with the Fry'd Cheesy Mac, which comes with two giant fried mac & cheese patties, and honestly that was almost filling enough alone. I had the Crispy Tenders for my entree and could only eat half of it (but it was just as tasty reheated in the microwave later!), and my bf enjoyed his Cheesy Bacon Ranch Wrap (and also took half of it to-go). The ambiance is great with all the paintings on the wall available for purchase. We ordered at the counter and got the 6pc meal to share for $20. These chicken tenders were THICK! The food came out pretty quickly and it was hot! The chicken is seasoned nicely aswell as the French fries, it came with 1 sauce side but we had to buy another for $1. read more

This place was an EXCELLENT choice. We happened to be walking by and it had a cool AC and it wasn't crowded (at the time). We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the service was excellent. The chicken is very good. They have a great selection on the sauce. The service is pretty good, you order at counter and they bring your food out. You serve yourself on drinks, utensils and whatever you need. It's a big open place, plenty of room. If had to compare the chicken, close to Cains. I like this place better then cains. Will make this a regular stop when in town. The chicken doesn't have lot of batter which is nice. You actually have chicken to eat and the portions are good. Pecker's Chicken in Eureka Springs blew us away! The deviled eggs were unlike anything I've ever tasted--so unique and delicious with burnt ends that added a perfect smoky kick. I ordered the Angry Volunteer chicken sandwich, and let me tell you, it might just be the best chicken sandwich in Arkansas! The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the flavors were out of this world. The fries were hot and perfectly crispy too. My boyfriend had the Casual sandwich, which I got a taste of--so yummy! He ordered mashed potatoes and corn NOLA on the side, and both were incredible. We went here because it was one of a handful of places that were open between two activities we had planned that evening and that we thought would be quick. It was...open. And relatively quick. But I can honestly say I have never had worse chicken wings ever! I got the dry-rub bbq and my spouse got the lemon pepper. His were so bad he only ate one. The manager was kind enough to take them off our ticket (hence the second star), but I was starving and ate mine anyway. The BBQ seasoning is, I assume, good, but there wasn't enough of it for me to really tell. It's like someone passed by the chicken and just thought the word "seasoning" without actually doing the act. The chicken itself tasted boiled and bland, and while we paid extra for sides, I had about a dozen standard-sized french fries. Service was lazy, I refilled my family's drinks, grabbed our own napkins and once I got up to talk to someone about our food then they wanted to work?... lazy! The food was delicious! The chicken is so delicious. Hand breaded and cooked to perfection. Crispy breading with juicy white meat. We were beyond happy with our meals. The street corn was bomb. My husband had the poutine chicken which had a delicious sage gravy. This isn't a run of the mill chicken chain. The owner was so nice. We will definitely eat here again. read more

Really bad music played way too loud. Seating is either in uncomfortable metal chairs or on even more uncomfortable wooden picnic tables. Had to use an app to order and pay, only to later be told they were out of the upgraded side dish of street corn. Got mashed potatoes instead. Unreasonably slow service. From order to getting food was over 20 minutes despite there being only one table with four other customers in the place. One order came out lukewarm, overcooked chicken tenders, and the other order was barely done very hot chicken, which to us indicated they forgot one of two orders, and held the lukewarm one while rushing through the forgotten order. The guy was out front giving away samples. That usually doesn't work for me, but let me tell you those spicy chicken fingers and boss sauce. We walked around town for a bit and came back so we could get lunch. Glad he offered samples and glad we came back. Full meal didn't disappoint. Restaurant was clean and food was good. Definitely worth it to stop if you are in downtown Eureka Springs. read more
