The Cajun buttermilk chicken sandwich.
Charley B.

Some say it's better to do a few things well than many things poorly. Sauced.'s menu lists a couple of spicy chicken sandwiches, a few burger variations, chicken wings, chik bites and a couple of sides. That's it. The spicy chicken is spicy. It's not for me, however my friends who like such things like it. The burger is one of the best in town. The wings are top notch. A note - only outside seating is available. Come hungry.

We ordered take out for lunch. Three burgers and two fries. The guys in the truck were friendly and had the food ready to go when I arrived. Location is in between two buildings and on the map it looks like it's down an alley, but it's actually in a nicely kept patio/breezeway between the buildings. It also has a nice gate that blocks the cars/street view so you're really tucked away in there. Would be a great spot to grab lunch on a nice day and enjoy the sunshine on the patio. As far as the food... the fries didn't hold up for take out but would probably be good if eaten right away. Seasoned well and good portioned size, but like warm and soggy by the time we got to them. I would give them a 2/5. The burgers were a different story- 4/5. The buns held up under two smash patties and plenty of juices and sauces. Yum. I'll grab a burger again. Bathroom Situation- No idea. Assuming you go into one of the adjacent buildings/businesses to use the loo.

Mmmm I'm still thinking about the chicken sandwich I had at Sauced recently, and it's been a few weeks! Firstly I should say that Sauced has been on my list for a long time and I just happened to be in the crossroads when a meeting ended just at the right time to get something to take home with me before another meeting. I quickly pulled up Yelp and saw that Sauced wasn't far from where I was so an online order was placed and I was on my way to pick it up. Something to note is that Sauced is somewhat hard to find. I drove to where Google said it was and after driving around the block twice I just parked and started walking towards the dot on my screen. Turns out the dot was correct and it's kind of hidden in this courtyard off the main road. I'm not sure what they could do to improve visibility, but I was a bit lost for a minute before I found my way there. Once I was there it was easy to pick up my to-go order and I was on my way in a jiffy. At home the sandwich was really amazing. No notes, 10/10 would eat again. The fries did not hold up well to transit through and while not bad, were not the crispy goodness I was hoping for. I'd like to return to dine on one of their picnic benches (it's a food stand) to really try everything super fresh, but since it's kind of set up as a takeaway spot I do wish the fries were crispy enough from the onset to withstand 15 minutes in a bag. All of that aside, you come here for the sandwiches and they are probably one of the best in town. I'll be back!

Fries, shredded BBQ, and tasty sauce. There was a lot to live in this dish. They were quick and professional. The area was relaxing and quick to grab and while strolling around the area.

First, hope you have the time to drive around a little bit to find this place because it is tucked away in a seated area. I think i had to go around the block a couple of times to realize where this was located. There also isn't any designated parking so you'll just have to hope you get lucky getting a parking spot nearby. When I arrived, the line wasn't too long but it certainly took a while for my order to get in. When you check in on Yelp, you get a coupon of 20% off your first order. I showed this coupon to the person taking my order and they looked extremely confused and said they weren't on yelp and that they don't accept that coupon. I finally just said okay don't worry about it, exited out of the coupon then he was able to find where he could apply the coupon but it was too late by then :// Let's jump into the food. Make sure you come here with an appetite! The two hand burger was huge, greasy, salty, fattening. I managed to finish my burger but was extremely bloated at the end.. probably because of all that salt (not a bad thing) The seasoned fries although they looked seasoned.. they didn't have much of a seasoned taste, tasted almost unseasoned? Their sauce is what makes it. I wish i could describe what their sauce tastes like but dip your burger in this sauce!! it tastes waaay better with the burger than the fries. Overall, I would come back to Sauced. Their burgers were juicy, greasy, saucy, fatty... everything you want in a burger.

The One Hand is like the perfect burger. It reminds me of a homemade burger, the crisp ends on the juicy beef patty make you forget that there is not mayo or mustard and none are needed. It's a one man show and he's rocking the joint Located at the crossroads rail stop, customers can walk through the garage for quicker access.

Delicious Burger shack with outdoor seating. Definitely will be back. Menu is super simple. Pictures worth a thousand words right? Well mine was the 2 hands burger, flavorful and greasy good lol. Side of seasoned fries with a side of garlic aoli.

After I let some of the initial exuberance die down I would just amend the stars to 4 instead of 5. A very good burger but not top notch on size or total package at this price point. Everything else I wrote is still correct.

Hidden gem! We were wandering around and just happened to find this place by following our noses. Great service, great food.

Messed up my order ordered chocked sandwich with mushrooms got onions all over my sandwich they don't have a number to call I got the food on my lunch break back at work and I can't eat this it's covered in onions and no one to reach out to big let down

Sauced may be one of the most secluded lunch spots in town. It is in the heart of The Crossroads near 19th and Main, but in a back alley between a bank and Corrington Station with very little street visibility. The menu is about as small as the walk-up building itself. Burgers, brisket and chicken sandwiches, wings and fries are featured. I went with the single smash burger with bacon and cheddar cheese and a side of fries. The fries had a black peppery seasoning and the burger was thin, cheesy and juicy with 2 thick slices of medium cooked bacon. A great little lunch. The alley has plenty of seating, but that won't work for the winter months. Plan on getting it to go. This should be a crowded little lunch spot come nice weather.

Good burger. Fries were cold and left the paper on the cheese when they cooked my burger.

A cute outside area!

It was good--I honestly would prefer Chickfila since I think their buns are softer and their chicken tastes better/crispier, but this is a good alternative and worth trying! I especially liked the outdoor area since you could work or bring your dog or just relax while eating a burger! I will be trying this place again to see if maybe the chicken is crispier next time I go...not sure if it was a one-off thing!

The overall vibe is pretty cool, and I really liked the lighting inside--it gives the place a nice atmosphere. I ordered the BRGR burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger itself was pretty good, and the sweet potato fries were fantastic. They came out hot and had great flavor, easily the highlight of the meal. The server was very good and nice. She noticed that we were getting low on waters fast and just gave us the pitcher which was super thoughtful. That being said, the burger is pretty expensive, and they don't include fries with it. You have to pay an extra $5-6 for a side, which definitely adds up and feels a bit steep for what you get. Overall, it's still a good place with solid food and a cool vibe, but the pricing does affect the overall rating.

The portion was huge, and the crust was perfectly crisp, but the meat itself could have used a bit more seasoning. The cottage fries were crispy and a nice change from regular fries. The cinnamon rolls, however, were a little too sweet for our taste. The customer service was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The only downside was that the tables were fairly close together, so it was easy to overhear nearby conversations. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back, especially for the outstanding fried chicken!
