They also carry the Dominican brand of Chinola (passion fruit) drink & can't wait to try it. They carry wines, roses, champagne, sparkling wine, liqueur, rum, whiskey, bourbon, tequila, vodka, beers, THC infused drinks, mocktails & ready made cocktails. They have it all. I was the only customer during my short visit here, the layout is rather simple and it took me no time to find everything I needed, the lone employee was stocking the shelves when I entered and only stopped to check me out. She was very polite and double bagged my liquor and made sure the handles were all aligned to ensure I had no chance of dropping it while walking through the parking lot back to my car. I can't say for sure if the prices are in-line with the ABC stores but at this point it really didn't matter, I wasn't here to restock the liquor cabinet...

However, they're not as bad as some of the other shops around town. I've found some rarities here and have been happy with my purchases and with the service.

I attended the latest Premium Tasting Event at the ABC Fine Wine & Spirits location in SoDo. I have…read moreattended a number of these tastings in the past and have always had a great time. This experience was another fun and outstanding one. 17 tables were set up for tasting of spirits as well as various wines. The Manager, Hector Pacheco, always makes my visits memorable, especially at these tasting events. He was at the check-in table and recognized me immediately. He provided me with my wine glass, which also contained a chocolate inside the glass. He provided a listing of all the wines and spirits that were available at each of these tables. I looked over the list, circled the items I wanted to taste first and off I began on my adventure. The vendors were so much fun and provided valuable information on their products. Standouts in this group include Nancy, from the Winecellars organization, as well as Fernanda, Eileen, Max and Juan. These individuals were passionate about the wines or spirits selected for the tasting, which enhanced this event. After visiting a number of these tables, including going back twice for some, I purchased over $200 of product and had a fantastic time in the process. Small bites, such as cheese and meatballs, were provided during the event to assist in cleansing your pallet. If you have not been to one of these tasting events, you really should give it a try. You'll probably meet new friends as well as enjoy an appreciation for new wines and spirits.
