Almost didn't stop in because experience at our local BJ's Brewhouse in CA is just meh at best but do like the menu options and staying nearby. We were overall happy with the visit. Arrived for late lunch just before 1 pm-ish. We were seated promptly with a smile at a small booth for 2. I should have asked for a bigger booth as my teen is 6'5" and I'm 5'10" so we were knocking knees the whole time, but otherwise comfortable. The restaurant was not overly busy, perhaps 1/4 full but had a couple larger tables and we weren't in a hurry, but did wait 10 minutes for a server wondering if they knew we were there. I was totally fine waiting as not in a hurry, but a quick "be with you shortly" to acknowledge us would have sufficed. Redemption came when James greeted us and took our order. He was friendly, warm and happy to list options for sides and make sure we ordered exactly as we wanted. Our drinks actually came almost immediately as well, which was great considering mine was a Grand Patron Margarita, no salt and it arrive fast and without salt rim! Our food was typical speed for a chain style restaurant.. didn't really time it but was happy with the pace. Everything was correct and exactly as ordered. James had a trainee server with him.. so sorry, forgot the name but believe it started with an "M", She was bubbly, welcoming and took drink refills and dessert orders that both came out quickly, along with a to-go box as requested. Service was wonderful from both of our servers.. this is what really made the visit shine for us. The food was good, but not really "wow-ed" by anything. My son's burger was ordered Med Well but brown all the way through no sign of slight tinge of pink. He didn't care, he's 16 and eat's anything but mentioned it was a bit drier than the usual burger, but still loved it and ate every bite. I had the Mediterranean Chicken Pita Tacos.. loved the sauce on them and overall soft and fresh, but the chicken was well, just cooked chicken and that itself lacked a bit of flavor. I'm not sure I would order again as the chicken itself lacked flavor while the cucumbers and sauce were the highlight. My margarita was actually really good - LOVED it! I love the little bottle of Grand Marnier. Cute, clever, and not cheated with a "less than" float on top. Also reasonable at $14.99. I've paid more for terrible top shelf margaritas so this was a plus. My son had the Stars and Stripes Pizcookie, and let's be real, he chose BJ's to dine at just so he could have one of these. He was not disappointed and finished it in about 2 min flat.. no joke.. Me.. still sipping on that margarita!! A perfect place to stop after several hours of volleyball tournament games. My last little nit pick was some debris on the floor nearby, a straw and a wrapper that were picked up just before our visit ended, but I did step on the straw on the way to the restroom and it stayed there for quite some time. Fortunately the restrooms were clean and well stocked, but debris on the floor always makes you wonder about cleanliness overall including the kitchen, so would just do a quick run through for tables and floors a bit more often. We would return again should we be nearby again. We came here on a weekend with a large party, overall I would say we had a wonderful experience! We were very glad that they were able to accommodate such a large group on somewhat short notice! They had an amble amount of seating in the restaurant and also had a bar area too! The service was decent and our food came out as ordered. One of our sandwiches came with coleslaw, which we weren't expecting, and it was very watery and lacked flavor. Not a huge deal as everything else was great and we weren't even expecting to get this with our meal, but something we would recommend avoiding if you were considering! One downside was the accessibility of entering and navigating the restaurant. We had a baby in a stroller and it was hard to enter the restaurant because of the revolving door, and somewhat difficult to get the stroller to our table weaving in and out of other tables to get to the ramp in the very back of the building. I know not everyone will likely have this struggle but it's something I wish I would have known about prior to arriving! Was getting my car serviced and we decided to get dinner on this side of town. BJ's was close by. We arrived on a Tuesday evening and it was pretty quiet. We chose to sit in the bar area and got seated at a booth. We were both impressed with the expansion of their own line of beers. I tried the chocolate Porter, which was really good. It was very light and easy to drink. My husband nutty brewnette which is a typical Brown ale. Very easy to drink as well. My husband got the tri-tip and ribs. Tri-tip was OK definitely didn't have enough seasoning on it but when he dipped in the barbecue sauce, it was better. Ribs are OK as well. What you would expect for a general restaurant. I got the Personal pan pizza in the sweet pig, which is ham, pineapple and green pepper. We popped in once again when we saw traffic on the way home from work would be 1.5 hours. We sat near the bar. The place was pretty empty. My phone was low in charge so I did not take pictures this time, but that won't stop me from posting a little review. Our large group (16) visited for lunch on a Saturday. Our table was arranged promptly and with a smile. The service staff was accommodating. We had a few appetizers, among them the fried dumplings which were served on a bed of crispy noodles, and accompanied by a nice soy based sauce. We ordered dry rubbed chicken wings- they were served hot and had a great seasoning. We also got their roasted Brussels sprouts- served with a mayonnaise based sriracha sauce- I have to say, this was my favorite appetizer. The Brussels sprouts were crisp, not "mushy" and had the right amount of tangy sweetness and spice. We also ordered their spinach and artichoke dip with corn chips- this recipe was a little bland. For my main course I tried the Steakhouse Wedge Salad. It is well plated (I wish I had a picture) but the flavors fell a bit short for me. It is a large salad- the tri- tip was tender and had a faint bbq flavor but it was under-seasoned also accompanied by a chimichurri sauce which did not have seasoning either; it was just herbs and citrus. The blue cheese crumbles, and dressing were used sparingly for the large wedge of lettuce which was unfortunately very yellow in the center and thus bitter in taste. The bacon bits and tomato were almost inexistent. The rest of my party tried different items from burgers & sandwiches to pastas and other salads. For the most part they were happy with their selections and generous portions. This place is known for their beers, which I did not sample, but members of my group did and were very happy with their house selection of handcrafted seasonal, lagers, stout, ciders, and other hard root beers. Overall we had a nice lunch and the place is really well kept they have screens, for sports shows and a full bar to complete their brews. I'll be back and give it another try. read more

So I just came to FL from Hawaii and I was skeptical about ordering the ahi, but , it was so delicious. I mean it.! I also got the shrimp with the garlic bread. Everything was amazing. I decided to top everything off with the margarita because why not obviously I came out on Monday so busy at all and I came during happy hour, which was such a blessing because there was half off all of the appetizers and my drink was only five dollars. We'd told our server we wanted to see the dessert menu after dinner, but our toddler was getting restless, so instead we had to ask for to-go boxes and leave. Our server said sheepishly, "I guess I forgot you were on her schedule," suggesting he'd left us for long periods by choice and not by necessity. Good BJ's!!! I thought I loved BJ's in Oviedo, but the BJ's in Millenia surprised me for a busier area of town. We went for the BJ's Beer Dinner as the Oviedo location was sold out, and we may make this our new preferred location. The staff at this location was super fun and talkative and gave their opinions of the beers and how they pair and what they like about them. They also engaged each group individually and were pretty generous with the pours. All of the food was delicious which is common at BJ's. They have a wide variety of food (not Cheesecake Factory insanity variety) and mostly everything I've had is good. At the beer dinner, we had Shrimp Tacos, Cali Club Flatbread, Santa Fe Salad, Chips/Salsa and a Pizzookie and all really hit the spot. I was stuffed!!! It would be hard to justify eating at this BJ's on a regular basis as there are so many other restaurants in the area, but as a change of venue for the bi-monthly Beer Dinner, I may head to Millenia for my BJ's fix from now on. read more

I ordered online for the Monday special. I made a substitution request in two places. The tag on my pizza box confirms my request substitution request. They left off jalepenos but did not add onions. Well when I got to the pickup counter I waited a few minutes yelled hello. No one. I went to the restroom and came back, the phone is still ringing off the hook. I managed to chase down the hostess and asked for my pizza. She said they were back in the kitchen getting orders and not her job. Ok so I asked her what it would take to get someone to hand me my prepaid pizza which was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago. She replied she did not work take out and walked away. The service was good and quick for the most part. My wife decided to order wings, based on another person plate, after we already had order. Although we never got them, it appears to be a disconnect somewhere with the kitchen and our order for wings. I'm a type of person that gives them the benefit of the doubt, because I've eaten here many times before and have never had an issue. The ambiance is nice and clean. We almost always have a great meal at BJ's. There are a few around town and they're all pretty good. The menu is pretty large, so they'll have something for everyone. We don't drink so this place isn't all about the beers. They have some great inexpensive mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks too. The deep dish pizza is great, and so are the salads. The restaurant was not very busy, although the bar had quite a good crowd. Our reservation was not honored until the reserved time. We were informed that additional staff would be available at that time. Our waitress took our orders and put them in as others continued to arrive. My burger was delicious and we came in for their weekly deals. Visited with my dad as we both look forward to their delicious burgers and super yummy Pizookies. Our waitress today was on point! She was so sweet and friendly and it was very easy getting her attention. She definitely improved our experience tonight, as a waiter often can. The music was fun and upbeat, probably a greatest hits station of some sort. I asked for a medium rare burger and they actually got it right! Most places can't seem to cook it right, but they were on the mark. The burger was fantastic and the bottomless fries are some of the best tasting fries I've ever had. Soooo good! During this particular visit, we made it just in time for happy hour. Our nachos were half off ($7.50).
