This is one of the only pizza places in West Chester that stays open late. This is the only reason for this places popularity, I think it gets the entire Barnabys crowd at 2AM. The prices are reasonable and pretty typical for the area. I've eaten pizza here many times intoxicated and I still complain about how mediocre it is. They use very little sauce (ironic for a place named "Saucey"), so their pizza is incredibly dry. Yes they have many gut-busting toppings, but so does every other pizza place. If you need a quick slice after the bar this place is an option; if you're sober enough to care how your pizza tastes, go somewhere else. read more

In the SE PA area pizza is poor to mediocre, there are a few places that stand out as good pizza for the area. Saucy is not one of them. We have given them a shot a couple of times and no luck. Worst pizza in WC. I wish them the best of luck, but they have work to do. read more

I guess I can't really comment on the quality of this pizza since I've only ever had it at 2 AM, after hitting the bars hard. Still, it's good, fun toppings, and makes great drunk food. I have to agree with someone below who pointed out the irony of the name, because even in our drunken state, my friends and I did notice the distinct lack of sauciness in our slices. But hell, at 2 AM in WC, it's either Saucey or Wawa, and I like options, goshdarnit. read more

Absolutely awful service! I ordered off of Grubhub last night (Thursday 11/3) and after and hour and so when our food was suppose to be delivered we had to call the restaurant. To our surprise there was supposedly only one working person there! I've never heard of a pizza place with one working person on a Thursday night in a college town. This was ridiculous, he explained that this has been happening every Thursday! What kind of management leaves an employee alone to run the whole place when you DELIVER ?! Pure stupidity to me and I will never be ordering from This place ever. That was our first impression of this establishment and I'm completely disgusted. Would love to have had sauceys pizza but unfortunately I never received it. When I placed my order the wait time was 45- 55 minutes through Grubhub but once it was confirmed sauceys changed the time to 1 hour and 45 minute wait. So when I called the restaurant to see if there was a glitch, the phone was answered by an extremely rude employee. He started yelling at me explaining that it was only him making the pizzas with only two delivery drivers and because of that he changes and confirms all order time to over TWO HOURS so he doesn't get bad ratings on Grubhub. Now, I completely understand being short staffed and I was just calling to see if maybe it would be better if I came to pick up the food myself.. but since this man answered the phone so rudely, I immediately felt uncomfortable with him handling my food. He was so irate that he couldn't even finish the conversation so he hung up on me. I called back and he told me that he can't make food while talking on the phone and that I should just cancel my order. THIS IS THE WORST RESTAURANT IN WEST CHESTER AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT. No one will complain about a dive pizza place because it's in a college town. This place may have a nice exterior but, don't be fooled. Walk down the street few blocks; any other Pizza place is better. read more

I love love love love love everything about Saucey's! The food is great and the people are just as wonderful!! Their white pizza is so amazing!! They don't have big chunks of garlic which annoys me but with Saucey I never have that problem! Every menu item is delicious!! I never ever have a complaint about the food or the service! Seriously missed the mark. This 2 star review is for the product only, the staff gets 5 stars, as they were friendly, polite, and accommodating! Possibly if I had some drinks, (a lot of drinks),I wouldn't be so critical, (and may have even liked it, assuming my taste buds were also plastered). I'm sorry this is coming across mean, but I (and my 2 guests) did not care for it. Had 2 regular cheese pizzas, cheese had an odd flavor and the sauce is "spiralled" on the pie. The crust was ok. They should also correct the menu prices listed on their YELP page. It seems to be off by a couple of bucks. Aldi and Wegmans sell a "cook your own" pizza, very large by the way, for 1/2 the cost of this establishment. I'll give them another try, but not their pizza, possibly a sandwich or something else. I'm not a glutton for punishment, just like to spend money locally. read more

Ordered from here a few times, good food. However this last time, I placed a delivery order that was expected to be delivered in 60-70 minutes. At 90 minutes we called to check on the status and before we could even finish asking the question, the man on the phone cut me off and said "deliveries are on there way." We explained our wait time and he said that it will be delivered "soon." No offer to check with the driver on the status, no apology, no customer service. It is now been 110 minutes and we are still waiting. There are a bunch of great pizza places in West Chester, avoid this one on sheer lack of customer service and extremely long delivery times. read more

You can tell it's a small business that really cares about their customers and about all of the food they craft. Even better yet - they deliver til' 3am! Sauced was a great stop mid-way trough our night. There was fantastic pizza and even more fantastic service. This was my first time ever having the (dis)pleasure of eating at Saucey. Granted, my taste buds may have been a little off after a late night of boozing, but not off enough to mistake the stale cardboard-like taste of this "pizza," or the cold condition in which it was served. And of course immediately after I arrived home and took a look-see in my wallet, I realized that my change of $13 cash back was noticeably absent $10. Not only was my night of alcohol-fueled fun ruined by some rather sobering insipid pizza, but the cashier totally took advantage of my inebriated self and likely fattened his own wallet with my sawbuck in the process. Despite however intoxicated I might have been, I was struck by the irony of the name "Saucey" when the pizza itself is remarkably dry. This is gonna sound hard to believe, but the kid working at the counter solicited sex from me. Upon entry I asked for a slice, and the little punk responded "I'd like a slice of THAT" and motioned towards my buttocks. I was flattered, maybe even a little curious, but that is not what I had come for. First, the guy behind the counter isn't only creepy, but also unfriendly and rude. Tonight was my first night there and he handed me an old menu with out-of-date prices and specials. After looking at the pizzas that appeared to be sitting out for a few days, I decided to go with a bacon burger. That was a mistake. The burger was a perfectly round, previously frozen, pre-cooked luke-warm Wal-Mart brand "burger". Completely tasteless. To add taste, I added a packet of ketchup per bite. The bun was also cold. The "bacon" on my burger consisted of one piece of crappy undercooked bacon cut into four small pieces. I passed up my favorite dish at an Indian restaurant just to branch out and try something new. My friend and I were planning on going to Saucey until we saw a large group of men, around 12-15 people crowding outside of the place. They were yelling inappropriate sexual jokes very loudly. We changed our minds about going because we were intimidated by the rude crowd, so we crossed the street in order to avoid them and some of the men in the crowd started yelling remarks at us involving the making of unwanted sexual advances and obscene statements. We called the business shortly after we got home and informed them about the crowd and their disruption. The worker's response was that they are the owner's friends/family. I have only been here a few times in 2012, so I can't tell you whether or not the previous posts are accurate. I have brought some serious world traveling pizza aficionados here, and all have left raving about what an awesome slice they have. The slice is light and crispy, unlike the giant grease bomb slabs of cheese that you normally get at a Pennsylvania pizza joint. I completely understand that a few clientele don't "get it," because they are used to the typical pizza joint slice. This is a world class slice. If you care about what you eat, try a slice. It's good food. The guys that designed or "borrowed" this slice should be absolutely proud of what they have accomplished. They could franchise this so easily. The marketing would be simple....Do you love pizza? Do you hate dominos, pizza hut, poppa johns, little Caesars and every other pizza chain you ever tried? Come to Saucys. Enjoy. read more

HORRIBLE delivery service! Supposedly open until 3am, so we ordered at 1:25am and still nothing had arrived at our door well after the estimated time of 2:15am-2:25am. So at 2:43am we called Saucey and no one answered and had to leave a message. So then I called GrubHub directly and they said they would call them. The man on the phone was nice he did say something about free food and such so YAY on that front and I am glad grub hub has better customer service than that of Saucey Pizza. I will never order from Saucey again!! So, Saucey, DON'T say your hours are until 3am on Saturdays if your'e going to abandon the job 2 hours early! And since they didnt have the gonads to let us know they weren't going to deliver we didn't have time to order from anywhere else. Just moved to west chester. This was our third attempt at decent pizza in the area. Loved it. Dough was a little sweet like cocco's in delco. Could use a tiny bit more sauce and a tiny bit less cheese but that would be my perfect pizza. This was very good as is. Ordered pork broccoli rabbe and provolone. Pork was awesome, broccoli rabbe was the worst ever and they accidentally used american cheese. Im only putting this out there so people know not to order the rabbe but def go for the pork and/or pizza. We will order there again :) read more

their pizza tastes like cardboard. $5 for 2 slices wouldn't be bad if they had good pizza. walk the extra couple blocks and go to Lorenzo's where the food is actually tasty. read more
