Freshly made blueberry & banana bread pudding. It was so delicious
    Diane W.

We stopped by the bakery to get some sweet treats. They offer breakfast, pastries, cookies, sandwiches and salads. They have seating out front facing the ocean and seating inside. When we walked in, we smelled the sweetness of fresh pastries. We heard they are famous for their blueberry & banana bread pudding. The employees greeted us and were ready to help us with our order. There were so many things to pick from. At first glance I couldn't find the bread pudding. I asked if they were out of it. They were just about to bring a fresh batch out from the kitchen. Thank goodness . We ordered a piece of the blueberry & banana bread pudding, a slice of the apple strudel and a blueberry lemon scone. The blueberry & banana bread pudding was the best bread pudding I've ever had. It was warm, moist, sweet and loaded with blueberries. It was amazing. A must try if you are in the area. The apple strudel was very good and not too sweet. The blueberry lemon scone was also full of blueberries and was delicious. This bakery did not disappoint. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Sausalito.

What a wonderful cafe in the heart of Sausalito! It was busy in there which was a good sign right away. Lots of seating for such a small cafe. Inside was decently clean and organized. All the pastries are freshly made, and put into the display window for you to choose what you would like. The hot drinks are made as soon as you order. No longer than a 5-10 min wait time if you want a latte with a pastry. The service is good, the chef talks with everyone and has a good vibe. I got the chai latte, i probably wouldn't get it again because it was too sweet, but definitely a latte next time. The cinnamon bun was huge, and delicious. Definitely need to pair it with a hot drink but nothing too sweet. Overall a great place and we will be back for sure!

Another 5 for a spot in Sausalito. They've got the customer service down to a T! Very friendly and conversational. The presentation of desserts looked amazing. We ended up ordering to go a Apple Strudel and Baclava.

This bakery is special. We came early on a Saturday morning and there were so many choices, some of which were still warm from the oven. I really wanted to get the blueberry banana bread, the cinnamon roll or the scones (chocolate chip and oatmeal were especially tempting), but I just had a massive breakfast. I did get the cappuccino and it was nice and strong. My buddy got the brownie and loved it! Casual. Street parking. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Food: - Items: Blueberry Scone, Fruit Tart, Blueberry Banana Bread - The blueberry scone was great, not to sweet, the right amount of density, might've appreciated more blueberries but it was still pretty good (8/10) - Fruit tart wasn't very tart but I liked the crispiness of it and the custard + fruits were nice // not the usual fruit tart with the crust (7/10) - Blueberry Banana Bread was also nice, super filling, it had nice spices baked in the only thing is I felt like it was denser than I would've liked (6/10) - Did feel like the food was a bit pricey however - 6/10 Service: - The server was pretty nice - 8/10 Ambiance: - Lots of people sitting inside and outside - Slow-pace feel although we took our baked goods to go - Decent parking - Seaside vibes - 10/10 Overall: 7/10

The best sandwich I've possibly ever had!!! Service was wonderful, friendly and authentic. I can't rave enough about this...and the pastries and coffee are everything you are hoping for in a coastal cafe, even comes with a view of the bay!!! Thank you!

Oatmeal raisin cookie (scone?) , not sure I didn't order this. I ordered a lemon Berry scone.

To start, generally there are some things that for me can be an automatic -1 star UNLESS there's something that good to counterbalance it. This was not the case here. Came with some friends after hiking and getting lunch at Napa Valley Burger Co. My friend had been really craving for a good pastry so we stopped in after seeing a few good pics of key items : Bread pudding, chocolate chip cookie, Lemon Berry Scone(?). We came in ordered a few things. Unfortunately they were out of the chocolate chip cookie so my friend was crushed. For me I ordered the bread pudding, brownie, almond (marzipan) croissant and the Lemon Berry Scone. We ordered everything to go because we wanted to get home after the tiring hike. Food: -Blueberry Bread Pudding was moist and soft yet still had enough texture/structure to not be mushy. Very generous portion of moist syrupy(?) blueberries. Downside it was a bit one note in flavor. -Almond croissant wasn't the most flaky I've had; it was a decent texture. Maybe it's because it's been sitting there all day? I ordered it because the woman working the register said it was filled with aa sweet almond paste, and I happen to love marzipan. Well in the very very center of the croissant was a tiny little dab of marzipan, which also happened to not extend towards the sides of the croissant. To say it was a FILLED croissant was definitely a stretch and had I know that going in I wouldn't have ordered it. -Brownie, well what can I say it was a brownie. Slightly crispy edges. Inconsistent moistness/texture throughout with dry dense spots and moist fudgy spots. Topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. It was fairly decent. - Lemon Berry Scone, well I literally have nothing to say because they gave me the wrong item. They gave me what was basically an oatmeal raisin cookie/scone. To be fair I gave it a taste and my mother as well. In her words it had the texture of cardboard. While I think that's an exaggeration, I flat out didn't like it. Yes it's loaded with raisins. But other than that it was so bland and flavorless. To top it all off I don't even like oatmeal raisin cookies. I would have thrown it away but my mom didn't have the heart and decided to keep it. Anyways this leads me into the next category. Service: I mean what can I say, the line moved fairly quickly and the woman working the counter was friendly and attentive. Where they dropped the ball was actually serving the correct item. Especially on a to-go order there's no way to correct an error like this. I have never been to Sausalito until today and because of how far it is I likely will never try this place again, let alone be in the general area. It's a shame, that Lemon Berry scone looked fantastic. Ambiance: I mean it's a small cafe with a decently sized bakery display counter. Couple of tables to sit. Nothing standoutish in terms of aesthetic or cuteness. Pretty standard. Misc: 3 is average, 4 is very good and 5 is great. You have to really earn your 5 stars to me. I try not to give them out unless a place really wows me for one reason or another. They messed up a to-go order,-1. This place didn't wow me, -1. The pastries were so-so as a whole, -1. For these reasons I'm putting them at a total of 2/5.

Chicken breast sandwich: 4/5. The bread was perfectly crispy and fluffy. The chicken breast was a little difficult to chew off but overall delicious sandwich w/ good proportion of ingredients (only wish there was more than one piece of lettuce)! The accompanying salad was rather small but still yummy (pickled cabbages & pickled carrots) Sausalito oatmeal raisin cookie: 3.5/5. It was a giant cookie so worth the $5. It's on the dryer/ crumbly side which isn't bad but not my favorite type of cookie--personal preference. Some might find it on the sweeter side but I think it was just right in terms of sweetness level. Ambiance: Very quaint local cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, it was very lovely to sit outside on this sunny day. Service: Relatively fast! staff were very nice. Glasses of water are provided upon request.

Small cute shop with good service and right by the water. Staff was really nice too and there's lots of pastries

Fantastic!! Amazing chef and owner was right there. Made our coffees himself. Delicious, healthy salads and delicious not-so-healthy bakery goods also!!!

Great service with very friendly staff. The chocolate croissant was lovely and flaky, and the quiche was good too. There are outdoor tables, though we chose to sit inside by the window and enjoyed the water view.

We visited in about 2019, and I guess it was so memorable to my husband that he made a beeline here as soon as we debarked the ferry. The place looked the same but I think ownership is different. Okay ambiance. Lots of tourist business and counter service only, and the place could use some updating (peeling paint, etc). Get your own utensils, and they offered no water or napkins so we purchased a small Crystal Geyser bottled water for what turned out to be $10 (!) I was looking forward to my poached prawn salad and, while the prawns were nicely done, the rest of it was just too sour to eat. They did not get the olive oil to vinegar ratio down right, and it way too tangy. I love olives and braced for a bite of one but blech! -- I got nothing but a burst of sour. The cheese tortellini were chunks of cold doughy nothing. A real disappointment of a waterfront lunch on a beautiful day. As for the other food, we also got a grilled cheese and a side of bacon. Not exceptional or even good. A little dry and just okay. Have yet to try the pastries, which did look good. We are locals but joined tourists on a ferry ride here from San Francisco just for a walk and a meal. Most come for just one meal given the ferry schedule. While we understand the mark up since it is Sausalito, they should give us something fresh and memorable -- this was not it for lunch, and there are better options that line the street.

Yummy treats perfect for a breakfast or brunch date! I visited with my fiancé on a Saturday morning after hiking. He told me he went here previously with his friend and they both enjoyed their food. We found parking on the side street. There was a short line when we entered and all the seats were taken. Luckily, we were able to find a seat for the two of us after a few people left and the line moved fairly fast. We ordered: * Matcha latte ($6.25 large) - I asked for just a little bit sweet and they delivered. Served warm. Wish it had a little more matcha though since it tasted like the milk overpowered the drink for me. * Chai latte ($5.75 large) - didn't taste it, but my fiancé said it was good. * Blueberry bread pudding ($6.95) - packed with blueberries and I loved the not-too-soft but not-too-dense texture. * Oatmeal raisin cookie ($5) - huge, thick, chewy, tasty oatmeal raisin cookie. * Almond croissant ($5) - I love almond croissants and this was no exception. It was soft, buttery, and flaky, but I wish they were more generous with the filling. * Fruit tart ($6.95) - was more like a Danish due to the flaky square base. I would've preferred more custard filling and the typical round fruit tart base, but overall still good. * Vegetable frittata ($13.95) - loaded with veg and had some cheese too! Super tasty and filling. It was warmed up and then brought to our table. With tax and tip, we paid almost $80, so yes it is a little expensive, but it's a local business in Sausalito so I was expecting it to be. Overall though, we did enjoy what we ordered and I think it was a nice treat. Not a place I'd go to regularly due to the price and the drive from where we live, but I'd love to come back as a treat! My rating is 4.5 because I wish it was a little less cramped inside and because of little changes I would make to the food, but I decided to round up to 5 stars.

This latte has flavors of orange blossom, cardamom, clove and vanilla syrup. The Habibi Latte was velvety with the flavors of spice and a hint of orange lingering on the tongue. The milk was steamed perfectly, ready to sip and enjoy at the perfect temp. On my second, I ordered at the cafe counter then walked over to the coffee house to pick up my order. The young man at the counter had a beautiful aura, very friendly and engaging - I was grateful the online ordering was not accepting orders, otherwise I would had missed out on this experience. My order this round was the Caramelized Banana Latte ($6.50) 16oz ($0.50) with Ghost Town Oat Milk ($0.25), Mexico Pluma Oaxaca espresso ($0.50), Extra single shot ($1.25) with the default double shot in a disposable cup ($0.25). The profile is house made banana spice syrup. It reminds me of a banana foster, delicate with a pronounced balanced flavor. The drink is creamy, with a Caramelized banana flavor lingering on the tongue - so satisfying. The banana is far from overpowering, complimenting the caramel notes. I purchased a couple bags of beans, hoping to relive the essence of Sausalito Equator coffee at home.

My girlfriend ordered the Fiorentina - Egg White with Spinach, Mushroom & Garlic and I got the Piemontese - Spicy Ground Beef, Mushroom, Spinach & Gorgonzola Cheese. We both throughly enjoyed our meals! The ground beef was not spicy at all though. We were hoping we had left room for a sweet treat, but we were stuffed!! I don't know if I'll make the special trip out here again, but if we are around, we might come again to try a sweet treat!

I'm really disappointed with my recent experience ordering from this restaurant through Grubhub…read more I understand that Grubhub handles delivery logistics, but it's still the restaurant's responsibility to communicate with customers when there are issues. I was left waiting about 45 minutes with no update--no notice of a delay, no mention that there might not be a driver available, nothing. What made it worse was calling the restaurant for help. The response I received felt dismissive, and I was simply told the order was canceled. There was no effort to assist or provide any explanation. Yes, I received a refund, but that's not the point. Good customer service is about communication and respect for your customers' time. A quick update could have made a big difference. I hope the restaurant improves how they handle situations like this and works more closely with Grubhub to keep customers informed.

I recently got into grad school and I wanted to also celebrate me and my partners two month…read moreanniversary since being together. This was a perfect place to go, especially on a nice sunny day. We sat outside on the patio, it did get a little roasty toasty under the sun but it was nice being able to see the water and the city. The service was a tiny bit slow, but overall fast, considering that the place was packed to the room with reservations and walk-ins. The servers were really cute and accommodating for everything, and the food was spectacular. I'm not a huge fan of oysters ( or at least I thought I wasnt) but this definitely changed my mind. It's super fresh, the sauce is pair really well, and the whole vid a good ambulance for me to get back into oysters. If you get a chance, grab the coconut ceviche for a little twist on a classic ceviche... There are slices of coconut and slices of fish with mangoes and tomatoes, which was so tasty. The crab tacos were a whole other deal as well since it wasn't on tortilla, but rather a rice paper kind of wrapping. Super fresh crab, and very juicy and creamy. BEWARE parking is terrible, it's usually crazy packed, and there's a lot of other restaurants and bars around the area which also add to the density. I would recommend this area for adults - couples, friends, older family members. I probably wouldn't recommend this for kids since it's a bit more busy but classy. There's lots of other spots down the street or in Sausalito. That's a bit more accommodating for all ages.

It's a lot thicker and creamier than the Strauss soft serve. I was impressed. I'm glad that they now serve the Jersey cow soft serve because the Buffalo one was pretty boring and too sweet. They no longer serve the Buffalo soft serve because the company was bought out and now they use the Buffalo milk for other items like cheese and no longer sell it for soft serve. Love this little market and if I move to Sausalito, I would be coming here quite often. And not just for the soft serve. They have a lot of very interesting items here. The items are all marked up a bit but otherwise good quality items and the food looks good. I've enjoyed their hot lunch here. All the prepare Foods look good too. I normally go across the street to Joinery for lunch then stroll down here for a soft serve.

Got this message from "Christopher B" blaming me for what i was charged by the store. I assume this…read moreperson works at Drivers: "There is no way two tomatoes cost $19-20. Your herbal soda was likely $6. So you likely were inadvertently overcharged (it happens with some of the older ladies who do check out), and you should have brought it up right then. Who doesn't pay attention to what you're being charged? In any event, those tomatoes aren't 2# each. You should rethink your unfair review and take responsibility for your inattentiveness first." What a busy body. Anyway, no, i didn't know what i was charged until i left the store. As anyone can probably attest to, pretty often these days when being rung up, the checker doesn't say the total anymore - they just scan your items and tell you to tap. So no, i didn't know what i was being charged at the time but this doesn't make the egregious pricing my fault, but nice try "Christopher B."
