She quickly disappeared upstairs, only to come back down when I called to her that we wanted to check out. But the strangest feature was an amazing lack of any diversity in the items they stock, or at least try to stock. Most shelves were half empty, but with empty stock boxes left in place. I will give them credit for the high variety of ultra processed foods they carry. So many brands of energy drinks and candy bars. Unfortunately we were after milk and orange juice -- no indication these were out of stock -- just didn't carry them. We finally found two items to buy, using a credit card I don't use much in case it gets hacked. As others have noted, very few items show prices. The clerk wanted me to sign for the total without showing me the cost breakdown. Eventually I had to accept the itemization on the receipt. I don't know if this is legit or not.
