Instead, you will find an assortment of breads, donut holes, bars and other goodies that make it feel like a party in your mouth. This bakery is one of the best things to happen to El Paso in 2013! They attend every Saturday Art & Farmers Market downtown and sell their freshly made items. Anything left over, they put up on Facebook to tempt you as you surf your Saturday afternoon away. Even though they say their hours are only on Saturdays, get in touch with them and they'll hook you up on other days. Every time I've ordered Gluten-Free Vegan goods from them, they've been very accommodating and yummy. The pumpkin donut holes are AMAZING! My boyfriend and his kids are pretty crazy about the chocolate cinnamon banana bread. And the rosemary beer bread is no joke - I cannot buy one of these without eating the whole thing. It is the second time I have been here and even though I really want to like it, the food does not seem to impress me. The atmosphere is really great however, it is HOT. It is a coffee shop so while I'm drinking my coffee, I felt like it really could've been a couple degrees cooler so I could enjoy it. The breakfast burritos are a great size but pretty flavorless, salsa nothing better than Pace Salsa brand. It was really pricey for what it was. The ingredients on the menu really do sound appetizing but when it comes to taste, it was subpar. Service was good and the shop was cute. read more

A fine newer neighborhood business with fantastic coffees and EVERY baked good great BUT not a Sunday goes by where we don't drive (or take the streetcar) past it closed on Sunday and feel sad wondering if their business can last? Less for us as fans but that a new bakery would be closed on THE day when so many treat themselves to carbs; Sunday. Certainly they get to choose how to run their shop but as retired bakers and chefs, we know how hard it is to grow one's brand being open EVERY day let alone surrendering Sundays. When I went vegan last year I was recommended to this place. I have been in love with it ever since! The donuts and cookies are the reason my son and I are weekly regulars! The food is unique and always satisfying. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful. They are eco friendly when it comes to straws and take out containers which is important to me as I live a zero waste lifestyle. I like this place and it's very close to my house but the staff have always been known to be difficult to me, I'm always met with a tinge of pretension from them. It's rather annoying to think someone who makes coffee can be arrogant but such is life I guess. Today I went for my doughnut and coffee because I will put up with their narcissism just for the doughnuts but I was met with some new bs today as I saw the member behind the counter water down my iced coffee. He filled about 3/4 of the cup with cold brew and then topped the rest off with water? When I worked as a server I would've never thought to water down someone's coffee but I guess they got to stretch that dollar. Also how can y'all not know how to make a iced macchiato? Great burritos! We tried the chicken machaca and a build your own with black beans and soyrizo. Both were quite hefty and filling. The salsa was decent, had a strong chipotle flavor. We also tried the strawberry donut which was just ok. It was a bit chewy and didn't have the consistency of the vegan donuts we have had in LA. Parking is tricky but I've always managed to figure out a spot. I suppose you have to be careful not to park on the sidewalk. Their food is healthy and their pricing is good. The speed of service is real good. They also have a rewards system and that's a nice gesture. They are environmentally conscious so they don't print receipts but they email or text them. read more

This is my second time here. If I could give a rating just on atmosphere I would give 5 stars. The menu pricing in fact seems to be paying for that atmosphere. The first time I snacked on veggie and dip. Not memorable. I can't even remember that veggies or dips. This time, I tried the breakfast egg and bacon burrito. Very plain. Something I could definitely make at home and save myself five bucks and change. Ive been to Savage Goods twice and loved it the first time but this last time I ordered a snickerdoodle from here and it was the worst thing I've ever had! It looked amazing but when I tasted and it was so bland and dry that I am almost certain that it had little to no sugar and/or cinnamon in it. When my girlfriend began to try it she couldn't agree more, she also noted that all she could smell were eggs. When I told one of the owners about it to see if I could exchange it for a peanut butter cookie his response was that I could buy another cookie with a rude attitude as if customer service wasn't important. So I left it at that and decided to leave. But on a side the seasalt cookie is amazing and probably the best cookie in town! They would be getting a 4 star review if the customer service from the owner was even marginal at best. read more

Delightful place, delightful food, delightful people. We both had the soyrizo breakfast burrito. It was the perfect size, not too big or small, and taste was amazing. Lattés were great as well (minor criticism: a place that encourages a plant-based diet should probably consider not charging 50 cents extra for a soy latté.) We were pretty full, but the atmosphere was so great and the sweets so luscious-looking that we stayed for cake. The coffee cake was amazing--perfect topping and not too sweet. I found out about Savage Goods because a coworker brought their vegan pastries to our event and I have been there so many times since. The staff is so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients within their food (which I find to be dang near impossible to come by when trying to order a vegan meal in this city) . And holy sh**, these are probably the best vegan donuts I have ever had, and I came from the Bay Area where the vegan donuts were aplenty. The blueberry and churro donuts have THE perfect taste and texture. Also, best tofu burrito in all the land, and the vegan burger on the pretzel bun is A1. The atmosphere is really bright and inviting and the art on the walls offers fantastic visuals as you sit and enjoy their delicious coffee & food. The prices are so very reasonable for the quality. 10/10 would highly highly recommend. read more

The pastries are great no doubt about that. However, when we got cappuccinos they were cold. After we went up there to mention it to them they said they can only make it that temperature. Ordered pies for office party. They were responsive and my pies were ready on time. Easy to pickup. As far as the pies, very good. Excellent quality and excellent price. The crust was very good and the pies were tasty. I had pecan and apple pies and i was very happy with the the finished product. So was the office considering they were gone quickly. Whenever I need pies,cakes, etc. this will be where I will go. Highly recommended. Update: 2nd time was just as good as first time.
