F(orget) all of them! Dodson Pest Control in Leesburg was 100% different. My apologies for not remembering the name of the man with whom I spoke. But he asked about my issue and gave me his cell number so I could send some pictures of what I was seeing. He called back immediately and asked for a couple more pics from a different angle. He gave me his assessment that it was unlikely to be critters or wasps etc as I suspected. I told him I could easily go up in the attic for a look at the inside and he simply told me what to look for. Turned out not to be what either of us thought. I called him back, telling him i was ready to sign for service or regular visits or whatever; I was so grateful for help, just over the phone. But he said he wasn't going to take my money; the thing I discovered was a dead nest and I could easily remove it myself if I as willing and able. I still haven't paid him a cent. He only spent 30 or so minutes of his time, including some text messages this morning. But that was invaluable to me! I'm hoping to find pests now so I can sign on with him. Please give this company a call if you need services like theirs. They deserve our business more than any other company's services I have employed in my 20+ years of being a homeowner.

In fact, they told us that their professional services weren't really needed for this and that it was something we could handle with a simple off-the-shelf spray. They responded immediately and sent a technician out the same day, who set up traps--one of which successfully caught the rat. Unfortunately, the rat escaped the following day when they returned to retrieve the trap. However, they came back again at no additional charge, replaced the bait, and provided us with a clear plan moving forward. During that visit, they also discovered a dead rat under our refrigerator (we're not sure how long it had been there). Thanks to their responsiveness and thoroughness, we now have real peace of mind.
