Popped in for a few drinks. 10/10 experience! Sat at the bar and asked for some recommendations and the bartender did not disappoint. He set us up with their Spicy Margherita and it was AMAZING. He told us a little bit more in depth about how they create it fresh there and use a spicy tequila and muddle jalepeños in with the brown sugar syrup that they use to make it so so delicious. We loved it so much that after we left to explore a couple other bars we just couldn't find anything that could match how good those spicy Margaritas were so we went back and got one to-go! Went out to dinner with my friend to Savannah Tequila Company for the first time and had a BLAST. Such an amazing dinner experience. Our waiter was Brandon and was so kind, funny and recommended the best dishes + drinks. All the staff at the restaurant was incredibly kind. We sat at the bar and got drinks and guacamole. The guacamole was delicious very fresh and lime flavor forward. The spicy margarita was good spicy for sure, the matcha sour was delicious but you couldn't taste the matcha at all. The bartenders were really sweet. The one who took our order went out of his way to suggest a tajin rim to our spicy Marg which i really appreciated. I would love to come back and eat dinner here. read more

We drove into Savannah after driving almost 7 hrs and after checking into our hotel, we walked 15 min to the restaurant only to be greeted with the manager's nasty attitude and the hostess's not so welcoming looks. We walked in about an hour before closing and when we asked for a table, the manager was clearly bothered that we had walked in an hour before closing and so much so, that she went to say something to the kitchen staff and all of them turned to look at us at the door. Keep in mind that the restaurant was nearly empty and they claimed that accommodating us was going to be a little difficult and would take some time. The hostess would walk back and forth to the hostess stand a few times and the manager always walking right behind her looking down at her watch as if we were an inconvenience to them and yet they still hadn't finished setting up our table in an almost empty dining room. After waiting a while, the hostess told us the table was ready, but after experiencing the manager's attitude and the hostess's lack of a sense of urgency to set up our table, I was completely over it and told them we were leaving immediately and I told the hostess, "tell you manager I said "thanks!" and stormed out. We were all really excited and hungry and looking forward to eating at this restaurant and ready to experience a piece of Savannah, only to have had such a bad welcoming on our first night there. If I could, I'd give them a zero star rating!!! read more

The guacamole here is some of the best I've ever eaten, you need to try it! The chicken burrito was huge and more than I could eat BUT it lacked flavor. I kept adding salsa to it because it just didn't have much flavor which was surprising with everything that is in and on it. What a wonderful experience with Maura! Her warmth and exceptional service started our first vacation post-COVID perfectly and I couldn't ask for anything more! Staying at the hotel and reviewing all the wonderful food offerings beforehand, we closed in on this restaurant for the first night and Stone & Webster the third. What a delight to run into Zee, the manager, as we wandered about this gorgeous hotel. From the various seating selections (bar, kitchen area, family style and group settings) we opted for a superb table for two. To set the pace, started off with their house margarita, plus a 2 ounce pour of the Resparado G4 to sip during the meal. We don't eat a lot, so shared two dishes: the Alhambra and Carne Asada. Please, let me tell you if you have had the privilege of eating seriously authentic cuisine from Mexico - and I mean Mexico - then you will understand the absolute nuances of this cuisine. It was made with love. And so authentic. We asked to, and had the privilege of, meeting this vibrant 30 year old chef, Chef Najera. His eyes sparkle when he speaks of his food! The restaurant has an extensive margarita/ tequila offering, which compliments the food. Fruit forward, as my non drinking spouse would say. He so enjoyed his non alcoholic margarita! And that was a treat indeed! Okay, onto to the two dishes: the Alambre showcased succulent shrimp, with a Chihuahua Cheese, and peppers, onions, bacon and house chorizo. The wonderful goodness left on the plate was sopped up by our flour tortillas. Their Carne Asada was ONE OF THE BEST STEAKS He ever had. Smokey, earth, charred. I don't like workout poor reviews but this place is just not worth it if you are looking for a good meal. So many other places to try. First, chips and salsa costs $9! At that price you feel you have to eat your weight in them. I know it is Marriott and the location but still. Red salsa was so bland. The Kessler margarita was okay, but you sit there watching people with their giant drinks walk by knowing they spent half of what you did. Nothing exceptional. I sent my meal back since it was annihilated. I usually just suck it up but for the price I was not paying that. Service was great, but the rest lacked. read more

One of the Plant Riverside District's' flagship restaurants. Not your neighborhood Mexican spot, but not swanky either; the frequency of kids is a key indicator. Obviously, there is a huge emphasis upon tequila, but the flavorful food can be nearly as intoxicating. Dining/drinking inside is nice, but you lose all connection to the river & riverwalk. The BEST addition to the Plant Riverside District. It is a pricier option for Mexican but it is totally worth it. The drinks are phenomenal and I haven't gone wrong with any food selection. The guacamole was very good. Most of our party enjoyed their food. However one of us got 3 beef tacos and there was literally a tablespoon of beef in them. They were LOADED with cabbage, way too much, but when they took some off , there was just a tiny bit of meat. It's a lot to pay for basically cabbage tacos. read more

oh my gosh if i could give this place ten stars i would. so i have allergies to dairy, gluten, onion, and garlic. which is a wild list of allergies, and it makes it really difficult to eat out at restaurants. i went into dinner tonight expecting to not be able to eat anything other than plain tortilla chips, but i was proved wrong! the staff was SO kind and helpful with creating something i could eat. the chef came out to hand me my food himself and to ensure that what he made would work. not only was it safe for me to eat, but it was INCREDIBLE. everything tasted so fresh and so yummy. i truly cannot rave enough about how caring the staff was. truly an amazing restaurant and i will definitely be coming back!! read more
