He was so kind and even let us drop of goods by our Airbnb before picking an amazing rooftop bar in town for our final drop off. We will definitely be using this tour company again.

We had signed up for the "drag queen pub crawl" through "The American Tour Company". The tour was scheduled for Saturday, March 16 from 7:30-9:30 pm. (Tour confirmation number 213334114). We showed up just before 7:00 at the designated meeting spot (117 Whitaker). We wait until nearly 8:00 pm. No one shows to do the tour. I tried calling the number on the confirmation (833.644.8687); it makes a loud screechy noise and then says "this call cannot be completed as dialed". I also emailed the email address included on the confirmation and have not received a response (heather@ahappyguide.com). After we returned back to our condo at Hilton Head and did a lot of dogging online, we found the tour had been "rescheduled" for 5:00 pm. We received no email or no phone call regarding the rescheduled tour. Even if we had, a 5:00 tour would not have worked with our travel plans. You can't just Willy nilly change a scheduled tour time by more than 2 hours...who does that?!?! We have requested a refund from the tour company (through the email noted earlier), but I fully anticipate we will not be issued a refund. Savannah visitors deserve better. I have reported this incident to the Better Business Bureau, the Savannah Convention and Visitors Office and the Savannah Chamber of Commerce. I plan to call the Savannah permitting office on Monday and file a complaint with them as well. I want a full refund, but honestly I don't expect I will ever receive any contact back from this company for this tour. Stay away from this tour and this company. Completely disreputable!

From the peacefulness of the Angel Oak tree to the tea garden, lunch at the winery and ending downtown....guaranteed a great time! Look no further. The Isle of the Palms beach was beautiful and just what we needed. We saw areas of Charleston that is not covered on typical Charleston tours. He took photos for us, set up the table for lunch, and ensured we were enjoying ourselves. The winery was awesome and we had a great time and met some more educators on the tour. Everything was excellent! Kudos to this company and David for a job well done! I told Cultur5 Travel they hit it on the nail with Holy City Transportation. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

Passing through Savannah on road trip we were just in town for one day and a night, so had to…read moreprioritize what we wanted to do. With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.

We were able to ask more questions. We started at Johnson square and ended at Forsyth park. We walked the downtown area and learned a great deal of history about Savanna. Our guide was very knowledgeable and appeared to be passionate about history. i loved that he spoke about the good, bad and ugly of the historical moments.
