If you aren't coming to this salon then you are doing something wrong because everything about this place is oh-so right! I have never loved a salon and group of women more. They are all so kind and helpful. In the middle of April, I had an AWFUL experience at White Lotus Salon where they destroyed my hair and made me look like a tiger (I was so ashamed and didn't want to go anywhere public). They not only paired me up with he perfect stylist (Chauntel/Chaunty), but they gave me the option to come in the next day! I had a 5pm hair appointment (if I can remember correctly) and even though they closed at 7pm, Chaunty did not give up on me. She stayed with me until 10pm (even thought everyone had left) and made me feel beautiful. I also did not arrive home with wet hair. Danielle colored my hair mid May and did a very sloppy job. The cut was uneven and she didn't cover my roots. The foil wrapping job was unprofessional and sloppy. She also ruined my healthy hair by pulling the beach through the ends. I just got it fixed and it's going to take a while to get it healthy again. She foiled my hair quicker than anybody else ever had. That was my first hint things wouldn't go well. She lacks skill and doesn't have attention to detail. read more

My new favourite salon!! I was in Gilbert for a wedding just before the Covid happened and I didn't get a chance to pamper myself before I flew in from Florida. Based on a google search I came across Savante salon and booked an appointment. I am so happy I did! My cut and colour came out perfect, I was so hesitant at trying a new hair dresser but Stephanie made me feel so comfortable. I showed her a few pictures of the blonde I was looking for and she gave her own suggestions as to what I can do. I am so glad I listened to her, I get tons of compliments on my hair to this day. I went there after buying a groupon. The ladies that did my nails were decently nice, and did an alright job. I understand there are probably people who bring their unruly children to the salon, but I felt judged for bringing my 8 month old, who didn't make a peep! The bang for your buck was extremely low. The groupon was $35 for a mani-pedi, with shellac for your finger nails. The pedicure was "dry" which was a fancy term for nail polish on your toes, so I paid an extra $15 for a real pedicure which didn't include hot stones, hot towels, or anything extra. Very basic. It was all basic. My manicure didn't even include lotion on my hands. I ended up spending over 65 after tip, and left feeling unsatisfied, Almost as if i had been somewhat robbed. Catelin is my absolute favorite!!!! I came to AZ from CA because of the quarantine and found this awesome salon based off their reviews to begin with. Everyone's super nice and welcoming- no awkward vibes whatsoever. Now let's talk about my stylist. I asked for a "simple" full hilight when that's probably the most opposite of what I really needed. I had about 4+ inches of dark roots and by the grace of god was turned back into a seamless blonde. She spent her time and I value her so much because of it. 1,000 percent recommend her to anyone looking for flawless color and a MICRO-trim. That's right, she listens, too :). I came here with a groupon for $35 for a mani and pedi which was overall mediocre. The manicure was not even at all and was the worst painting i've ever gotten. The groupon also offered half off a hair cut, which was mediocre as well. The salon itself is small and cramped. The two pedicure chairs and the hair washing station are all crammed into a tiny room. This was not relaxing to me. I felt I icompletely unsatisfied considering I ended up spending $93 with my added haircut and their tips. I really should have tipped off the groupon price rather than the full price... I would not come here again, even if they had another groupon. read more

I first came to the salon with a Groupon for a mani/pedi and they totally won me over! Not only was the nail service spectacular I added a waxing which was awesome. They are extremely attentive to your needs and their service. I now go to them for all my beauty services (hair, nails, and waxing) because the atmosphere and service is so professional. If you have no concerns of contracting COVID, then this is your salon. They have no problem calling you to see if you want to come back and patronize their business, but taking measures to make sure that their clients are safe is not a priority. I am at fault for not asking what precautions they are taking, but I would think a high end salon would ensure their customers safety. After sending my elderly parents there I found out that the only person wearing a mask was their beautician. My parents asked if she was only wearing this because they were, and she said no, she wears her all the time. Kudos to the one person employed there that cares. When I called and asked why they are not taking these precautions and why we were not informed, I was told that they have it listed on their door. That does a lot of good when you're calling in for an appointment. Again, my bad for not asking. We will not be returning and hopefully they inform their patrons in the future so they can make the decision that is best for them before they arrive. read more

Danielle has been my hair stylist for over a year. I'm finding it hard to find the words to express how thankful I am that I have found her. She is young, fun and energetic. She understands what I am trying to explain when I can't completely describe what I am wanting. I feel very comfortable with letting her take some liberties with my hair. I have never been one to be "fixie" if you will, so I trust her judgement when she suggests something. I was so elated that she was able to rearrange her schedule to be able to do my hair for my wedding. I had been planning on a family friend flying in to do my hair, but with COVID 19 we had to rethink how we were going to still have our special day on a very special date. I had an appointment to get my hair done two weeks before my wedding and Danielle and I were talking about the wedding and I mentioned that with COVID thing's had changed and I didn't have anyone to do my hair. I was asking if there was anything she could suggest for someone who is a novice when it comes to actually doing anything with my hair. She said "Just a minute." She left and came back a few minutes and said " I can do it. I have my manager looking at my schedule to see where we can move a couple of clients." I have been going to Lori for about two years now to have my nails done, but I will not be going back. It's the accumulative of many reasons over the past few months of why I won't be back. She had messaged me on more than a couple of occasions on the day of my appointment to reschedule because something had come up, and when she would message me about the change, she never asked & basically would let me know in a very pushy text that she would not be able to see me at my scheduled time. For example I had an appointment with her that I had scheduled a month in advance and when I showed up at the salon she was still in CA, but had not bothered to text me about her needing to cancel/reschedule my appt. She is frequently going out of town & is focused on quantity over quality by trying to accommodate as many of her clients as possible in between her trips to CA which would result in a shoddy nail job and the nails would not "stick" for lack of a better word. And when she did need to cancel or reschedule me she would not have anything available for at least another week sometimes two. I am not a big fan of change, but I would much rather go to someone who will do my nails that actually enjoys their job and will give the same quality service to each of their clients and not have the need to rush through in order to see as many clients as possible in a four day window. read more

I found two gems at Savante Salon: Stephanie (salon owner) and Kelly (nail tech). When looking for a stylist and a nail tech, I read great reviews for this salon. I emailed Stephanie and she answered me right away. I was able to get appointments quickly and I knew that Stephanie and her salon were customer-oriented. Everyone here is friendly and I have never felt awkward walking into the salon. Stephanie is warm and welcoming and was able to listen and interpret what I wanted but couldn't describe. She visualizes how the color and style of my hair compliments my face. I always look forward to my appointments and come away feeling fabulous! I had my hair and make up done for myself and my 2 bridesmaids. We are from out of state, but had our wedding in the Phoenix area. I showed the stylist a pic from Pinterest so she would have an idea of what I wanted. My hair is straight and flat, so for my wedding I wanted it to be full and wavy. I told her that I didn't want flat hair. She totally disregarded what I said and did her own thing. So what was my hair like for my wedding? STRAIGHT, FLAT, and UGLY. The bridesmaids wanted their hair pulled back into a bun. Buns are supposed to be round and stick out from the head. Well they were flat to the head. A pancake on the back of the head!!! I was so mad. I can't bear to see my wedding photos.I looked hideous. As I had no experience with this salon I was going off the reviews which on the surface look good, but the message I want to convey is DON'T HIRE THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING. I was charged $600 for a crappy job. I should have put my regular stylist here in my own state in my suitcase and brought her to Arizona for my wedding. Love this place! Found it by accident while looking for a salon that sold Kevin Murphy products but am so glad I did! Lucy is amazing with color. I came in after having had my hair so badly damaged by another salon that it was breaking off on chunks. Lucy came up with a game plan of lightly weaving just the roots and putting extensions in until my hair grew back enough to leave long on its own. I am super picky with hair color. As a blonde it is so hard to get blonde right... I've had stylists turn it yellow, orange, green and grey. Lucy did a perfect blonde color. I am extremely happy. I found Savante Salon through a Dealfind coupon, and let me tell you - I'M SO GLAD I DID!! Like many of us, I have gone all over town trying to find a good, solid, reliable, affordable stylist. The great news is, it looks like my search is finally over! Marlene did the most wonderful job on my hair - cut, color and style - and she had the whole thing done in an hour and a half! The results? Let me put it this way....my boyfriend has not stopped telling me how beautiful my hair looks - and YOU KNOW how rare it is for a guy to mention things like that! I've also gotten a lot of compliments from the people I work with and from my fellow bandmates. Marlene is so amazing that after my appointment was finished I did something I almost NEVER do - I set another one! Regarding the salon itself, it's a cute little place that's clean and pleasant. The staff is very friendly, from the time I made the appointment over the phone to the time I left the salon. One more thing - my biggest pet peeve at salons is when the stylists gossip amongst themselves as if their clients aren't even sitting in front of them. Guess what?
