They were contacted through our insurance company. After a long wait, we were informed that they were not coming. Still stranded.

Like others who have commented, when I asked for a supervisor, I was told the supervisor wasn't there. The second time I used them, they were flat out rude to me. The only reason I used them was because they were automatically sent by the roadside assistance service. I am needing a tow soon and am willing to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement so that I can specify a towing company who is actually decent -- Tug-N-Grin is absolutely awesome, it is a husband and wife owned business and I will never go with anyone else, even though it means paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement. 24/7 Towing? Scammers, liars and cheats!

I pay $290 to get my car unstuck from a parking spot. Trust me, me and my boyfriend shovel the hell out of that parking spot but we can't get the car out, I really have to get it towed. The work takes like 2 minutes (the best hourly rate I have ever seen for a job) and they got there within 30 minutes from the moment I call them around noon when Ron's towing doesn't have any trucks available to dispatch. The lady on the phone did said the price is $265 and up so, $290 is very close.

I am writing this review on behalf of my son, a young soldier stationed at Ft. Wainwright. This is…read moregoing to be a long story, so if your here just for the review, trust me when I tell you it's rare to find decent, honest and honorable companies these days. Suffice to say that Preferred Towing is most certainly one of the "good guys" and I wholeheartedly recommend them! Read on for more details on how they helped my son. Aliases will be used to preserve OpSec protocols. For weeks we have planned to send our youngest son (we'll call him J here) from New Jersey to Fairbanks to spend Christmas with his brother (we'll call him D here). D's car died while driving yesterday, was disabled, and needed a tow. We didn't know what was wrong. It could be any number of things. But the bad news was that D had already called his mechanic and they wouldn't even be able to look at the car for a couple weeks! D called home and told his brother to cancel the trip! It seemed like an active time together for the two brothers was going to be squashed, and even the simple task of pickup at the airport on Christmas Eve was now a problem. D called Preferred Towing. The driver arrived quickly and D explained the symptoms of the car. The tow operator could have just hooked the car and towed it. Instead, he believed he knew what was wrong. Within minutes of tinkering under the hood D's car was running!! Preferred Towing not only saved the day, but they saved the whole Christmas vacation together for my two sons! They can now go snowboarding and have the freedom to drive around together next weekend. We are so thankful that companies like Preferred Towing have such compassionate, knowledgeable and caring employees! I even tried to buy the crew at Preferred Towing lunch on me but they wouldn't accept! They believe that doing the right thing is is own reward! If you're ever having car trouble in Fairbanks, Alaska give the good folks at Preferred Towing a call (907-456-6767)!

Buyer beware!! Warning!! Buyer beware!! Alert!!…read more If you go here..., spray paint the parts you plan on having replaced before you get any work done! I was billed multiple times for work that was not completed, parts were not replaced or they were replaced with junk and I was charged. If you have front end work done. Make sure your steering wheel is aligned with straight tires as they do not! Trace back any wiring you may have had done as they do not remove burs from the metal or use protective materials for the wires to prevent corrosion or vibrations that can ultimately lead to a vehicle fire. There is no warranty with the substandard shade tree mechanics they have working for them. The down time from needing to repeatedly bring my equipment back for repairs was phenomenal. I had brand new led light bars stolen and numerous parts supposedly replaced or repaired. If you confront the owners they just give you the run around full of excuses. Then when they get sick of hearing you complain they threaten to call the police on you. This is the most unprofessional automotive place I've dealt with in 23 years as a local Fairbanks Alaskan resident. In short, save your money and go somewhere else. Hire the Girl Scouts. I'm sure they are more competent and competitive.
