They have a tons of options and toppings so you can customize your bowl exactly how you want. Solid local place! Similar to chipotle and fresh ingredients. This new place opened up recently and I opted to try it on a Friday for lunch. It was really busy inside when my fiancé and I went. You order the same exact way as chipotle. Pick out your base, choice of rice, beans, protein, various salsas, etc. they had brown rice or cilantro lime rice too. Everything tasted really good and fresh. I was really impressed. They had their house sauce which tasted like Smokey salsa. It wasn't bad but wasn't for me. We ordered 2 chicken bowls to our own style and the chicken was really tender. It was also really well seasoned. I also really liked their pickled onions! The star of the show. The staff were really friendly and nice and even asked if it was enough of rice for each of us! There are a few tables to sit at, it's a little small inside though. read more

I've had a lot of burritos in my day and the best way I'd describe Savi is it sits between a really good taqueria and Chipotle. Better than Chipotle but a step below a good taqueria. The honey chicken was grilled really well and the ingredients tasted fresh but the overall flavor of my burrito was not taqueria level. Not sure the lime rice had any lime juice in it. The black beans were basic but the tomatillo salsa was fantastic. I also added grilled veggies and the guac - both were thumbs up. The restaurant concept of this is sort of like a Chipotle but way better and homemade recipes and salsa and meat too. . Did you have your tacos to Burrito bowls and queso birria tacos as well. . I love getting the burrito bowl because it has a nice cilantro lime rice and the topping that I chose was the carne asada and they don't skimp out on the meat. Also they do have your sauces like corn salsa to your mile medium and spicy salsa and fire Habaneros also as well. And there is also homemade guacamole which tastes just like the Chipotle one. Also I do love the extra touch of the pickle onions and jalapeno. . I also really like their queso media Taco which was very cheesy and oily also dipping in the sauce was really amazing. I told them that I can just do a cilantro lime rice and some birria taco dipping sauce on the side and add some onions and cilantro and call it a day which is so good. . The ambience here is casual and friendly family and kids welcoming as well . Also a great spot for grabbing go . Also the service was friendly and they are quick with making your order as well . Tried this place out during their soft opening. Foodwise, I don't think it is better than what it's being compared to. For one, the rice is underseasoned. The orange sauce does save it. I also don't think the guacamole is as good. Pricesise, it was the same. Service is hard to review, because they are still getting their workflow, but one guy asked us the same question like 4 times. Took my little family to Savi, and boy, they did not disappoint with the flavors! The kids enjoyed their chicken quesadillas, the perfect amount of flavor and not too spicy for them. Food: I got a bowl with white rice, black beans, nd honey chili chicken for the protein. For toppings, I got fajita veggies, pickled onions, salsa verde, sour cream, cheese, orange sauce, and cilantro lime sauce. My bowl was a 10/10 Everything had flavor, nd the sauces went really well together. My only complaint was that I wish the scoops were a little more even. They gave me a good scoop of white rice, but the beans were a little smaller, nd I wish the chicken scoop was closer to 4 oz. It seemed like it was just a tiny bit under a full serving. However, this was during the soft opening, so not too much on em fr. I'm sure they're still gettin everything figured out. Service: I could tell the employees were still learning, which is understandable since it was a soft opening. Everything seemed fresh, but while I was getting served, I could barely hear the guy helping me or asking me questions. I lowkey ignored what he was asking because I couldn't hear him so I just proceeded to tell him what I wanted in my bowl. When they rang me up, they actually gave me a greater discount than the original soft opening promo since they were running out of some stuff, which was cool. I came in around 8:15-8:30ish, so I think some of the stuff running low was probably because it was later in the day. Overall, the food was GREAT. Just tried Savi Grill for the first time and I'm already planning my next visit. If you're into build-your-own-bowl style like Chipotle, this is that concept done right. The flavors are next level. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not the assembly-line blandness you sometimes get at the bigger chains. The proteins actually had flavor on their own, and their house-made salsas are some of the best I've ever had. Beyond the food, the staff were genuinely friendly and made the whole experience feel personal instead of transactional. They were happy to answer questions and the restaurant itself was spotless (clean tables, clean floors, and clean prep area). You could tell they take pride in the space. Honestly, this puts the big-name competitors on notice. If you want Chipotle-style convenience with way better execution, I highly recommend giving Savi Grill a shot.
