They have a server name, Diana, who is absolutely amazing I thought I was cool but she told me three leches cake was her favorite and I just had to try it. OMG it was amazing in the top it all off. Our margaritas are absolutely wonderful. I thought I was just coming for a California burrito and by the time I walked out, I had had dessert as well as an appetizer and two drinks. I stopped by Super Taco for a beef taco for lunch. My order was a small order to go, and just meant to hold me over til dinner time in 3 hours. It has been awhile since I've been here, so I was reminded what a cute family friendly place to stop for a meal. The beef taco was good, and a little bit bigger than a street taco, with a little beef and lots of fresh lettuce and pico. It seemed more like a taco salad in a soft corn tortilla. The service is great because the staff that took my order was very nice. While waiting for my taco, I really wished it was dinner time already and had time to dine in with a complete meal, but that will happen, and I'll keep you posted. read more

Food - 3.7 Service - 4.4 (Christian attentive, polite and energetic) Friday night date and wifey wanted a margarita and Mexican food, so Super Taco is one of our usual local places my wife enjoys. When we arrived it was quiet and only a few tables seated but after we sat the restaurant got a huge rush, but service, food and drinks kept flowing. Chips and salsa arrived even before we got our drink order in: a blackberry mojito and a tall Modélo Negro. For dinner I went in a different direction and ordered the shrimp soup while my wife ordered the fried tilapia (her favorite. Food comes out in a timely manner especially even though they (the kitchen) got slammed. We enjoyed each other company while eating and Christian kept tabs on us throughout our entire stay! I enjoyed the soup and my wife quietly ate with a smile but I stole some of her rice and beans from her plate and created small shrimp tacos, LOL Another wonderful meal here! This is our go-to weekend Mexican food spot for one reason in particular... the menudo. It is hands down the best in a 15 mile radius, minimum. I try it everywhere I go, and even the other Super Taco on Calvine is nowhere near the same flavor/authenticity. This time however, last minute I changed my mind and got a loaded veggie burrito and café de la holla. Two things I never do. First, the coffee. You can't get café de la holla many places but both Super Tacos make it, if you haven't had it before definitely try it if you like cinnamon, it's complex, lightly sweet naturally, and quite delicious. Next the burrito. I got a veggie burrito but added fajita veggies, extra cheese, and pico de gallo. It came with eggs, cheese, beans, and potatoes already. Some restaurants these days have breakfast burritos for $15+ which is nuts for such inexpensive ingredients. Here they start at $10 and go up only a couple bucks for premium changes like steak. It was delicious and huge. Here is the overflowing half I had to take home because I was stuffed. Restaurant is always clean, today it was super quiet (Saturday and I usually come Sunday), and the a service was quick and attentive. Elk Grove does NOT have many solid choices for Mexican, come here and at least try the Menudo... plus they always have specials on table top menu/ads. read more

Stopped in during their HH. They have HH Mon-Fri 3-6p. It was busy. I had a modelo and ordered #5 the Enchilada & Burrito both with chicken. Loved the chicken enchilada. The chips & salsa are good. Super taco has been around for a long time! It's a favorite go to spot for a lot of families. Over the years the quality seems to have gone down though and prices have gone up. It's still a good spot but doesn't hit like it used to, at least not the last few times I have gotten food. One thing that does remain the same is their tasty mild salsa. read more

We wanted to grab some tacos for lunch and found this place online. It's a casual sit down restaurant with table service. My memory is a little fuzzy, but we ordered the super taco and I *think* two a la carte tacos. It was pretty standard fare - the tacos were OK. The bill came (I can't recall if the waitress actually brought a bill or verbally told us the total and handed us the charge machine) and it felt a bit high - the total cost including tax and a normal tip was close to $35. No drinks, no appetizers besides the chips and salsa they brought out. I was mentally doing the math in my head and wondered why it was a tad on the high side, but we paid and left without seeing the itemized receipt. I'm not super compelled to return for the price paid and average food. Two stars would be more accurate, but I'm rounding up to three since I don't know for sure whether the bill was correct or not. Either way, $35 is bit pricey for our really modest meal. read more

Excellent experience! I was pleasantly greeted and got shown to a table quickly. The server Alondra was extremely friendly and helpful. She encouraged me to order the birria tacos with cheese and they were delicious. I've tried birria tacos at other places but these were definitely one for the books. They were crispy and filled with meat and the dipping sauce added the perfect touch. Alondra served my food quickly and checked in on me which is rare nowadays. Just got home after buying a combo meal. The meat was burnt and dried out. The food was just plain out right nasty. The food is so bad, I would almost think it was done deliberately. I wouldn't recommend this place under any circumstances. I spent over $21 for food I wouldn't feed to my dog. read more

If your cooking fresh food there's no need to use a MICROWAVE I sat there and saw them microwave plastic containers over and over , are people not aware that when you microwave plastics you are ingesting microplastics that cause heart disease, oxidative dress, lung issues, metabolic and hormone issues but then again your food cause these issue as well since your not using avocado oil or olive oil to cook.
