Great coffee shop! My husband and I both ordered their house made chai! Yum! Definitely recommend. Nice and clean ambiance. Lots of seating! Service was quick and friendly. Had a great experience.

Super friendly staff, metered parking lot, fun flavor combinations. However, I do think they can work on their matcha drinks more. I love the strawberry matcha combo but there is almost no matcha flavor. The drink may look matcha green but idk how much matcha is actually in the drink. I think they need to add another scope or two of matcha and really spend time blending it. All I tasted was strawberry milk really.

Walked into Goodkind on a Saturday with the line almost out the door! Our orders were taken quickly and we didn't wait long for drinks. The black sesame latte is one of their fall specials, though it did not have a very strong sesame flavor at all. Very large shop with 2 seating areas; plenty of outlets and tables to fit any size party! Be mindful that they are laptop free on weekends, so take your studying elsewhere!

Swung by early Saturday afternoon and ordered a cookie butter latte! Service was quick and very friendly. The cookie butter latte was good, but I wish it was a bit sweeter. Interior is really cute and they had a good amount of seating for people who wanted to hang or do some work!

We came in before heading to the park. I just wanted a shot of espresso to wake me up. My friends got the CLV (cold brew with lime and vanilla) and a key lime iced latte. The CLV was very refreshing. Light on the cold brew flavor too. I'd get that next time! It's a wonderfully decorated coffee shop. We parallel parked right in front of it. Can't wait to come back!

The regular menu is great. My favorite specialty might be the Ube Latte and for tea-lovers the Red Latte is delightful. I also really enjoy getting a cinnamon roll whenever it's available.

A friend of mine posted their summer menu and immediately I knew I had to go! With coffees such as Key Lime, Espresso Cola, and Creamsicle who wouldn't want to try something? I got the Key Line latte with oat milk. Absolutely delicious! Like please if you go there in time try it! The please while on the smaller size is great for photos or a cute little coffee date. The staff were so nice, and helpful when I was deciding. I'm already making plans to go back before the summer flavors leave!

Cute little spot in Lakewood! There's seating inside, and a few spots outside too. There's menu is super fun with lots of diverse options. I got the strawberry matcha and it was quite yummy! The employees were super kind. Just note that it's laptop free on the weekends!

My mother and I will come here relatively often to crotchet and people watch at the seats by the window, I really like the remodel they did, it feels more spacious and feels clean and calm in the cafe! The menu is small and simple but the quality is good and strong, I'm not a huge coffee drinker and their coffee is too sting for me but I really like their Chi lattes! Since it is a small place they don't have a huge staff so it can be really busy sometimes but the drinks are worth the wait and staff is patient and attentive!

Hipster neighborhood cafe. Since its recent renovation, the interior is slightly less vintage cozy (gone are the loveseats and leather stools), but the baristas and staff are just as friendly as ever. You'll find excellent basic brews here along with a rotating seasonal menu with quirky creations such as cold brew with rhubarb syrup or with lime juice and vanilla. To munch on, there's a small selection of pastries from local bakeries, or you can get a burrito and other packaged goods from a local chef/caterer formerly from Tartine Bistro. Most patrons are locals in the area and it's gratifying to see the relationship between baristas and the customers. Come often enough, and they'll definitely remember your order. If you've got a pup, they're sure to get a treat too. Being pretty small, there's only a few round tables big enough to squeeze 1-2 people, and a larger dining table with some outlets that you'll be lucky to snag. Music is pretty dependent on the staff's whims but feel free to make requests. One feature that I'm glad wasn't replaced in the redecoration are the restrooms with their old-timey encyclopedia wallpaper. While the font is a little too small to read from the comfort of the toilet seat, it's an inspiring setting for anyone looking to do some creative work.

All-around solid coffee. I'd recommend their lattes more than a cold brew or an espresso. So great if you like lattes.

The coffee was good. The decorations were cute. Only negative was that the baristas seemed unhappy.

Pro Tip: Visit to get a pic by their cool Lakewood mural inside the store…read more Walking into Burning River Coffee was a bit like stumbling into a local secret - a combo of smoke shop and coffee shop. The front is unassuming, and this combo isn't something you see every day, but somehow, it works... or at least, it's interesting enough to give it a shot. I visited the coffee shop side while working nearby (walking distance) at the co-working center (Icon Cowork). I ordered the red eye. Honestly? It delivered. It wired me for days. It was extremely strong and not well crafted (too much, definitely not barista made). But boy did it do its job. While at the coffee shop, I noticed a small menu of other drinks and no baked goods in the case. It just really had the basics. Service was very quick. The barista (who worked both sides of the house) was nice enough, but the vibe was more transactional than inviting. Not rude, just kind of indifferent. The space had enough tables to sit at and very quiet atmosphere. One thing I couldn't ignore was the scent of vape juice hanging in the air. It didn't bother me personally, but I can see how that could be a turn-off if you're expecting more of a traditional coffee shop aesthetic. Of note is that both sides of the business have the same entrance. They're working on dividing the space into two separate ones according to my quick chat with the employee. Currently the coffee shop has no age restrictions while the smoke shop is 21+. Overall? Burning River Coffee is quirky and good for a simple cup of coffee. It's not a textbook coffee shop experience -- it's its own thing. Just don't expect the usual indie-coffeehouse playlist and aesthetic. Expect something unexpected and different.

Another "don't judge a book by its cover" review. It is more of a coffee bar inside a vape shop,…read morethan it is an actual coffee shop. The location is great to walk to neighborhood shops and restaurants in Lakewood. The friendly staffer really worked her latte magic! She said she always adds a little bit of vanilla to punch up the flavors of the lattes. The coffees were so good. I also appreciated that they used lots of ice....perfectly cold and creamy. The baked goods looked nothing like the pictures on Yelp, but they did have several vegan and gf options. This morning they also had fresh cinnamon rolls.

While we were enjoying our coffee a gentleman came in and drew an amazing drawing on their chalkboard commemorating Women's History Month. When he was finished he chatted with staff and drank his coffee. One customer pulled up a chair behind the counter. The entire experience seemed wholesome and genuine. The coffee was very good and we enjoyed chatting with the couple at the table next to us. When they left we ended up chatting with a couple at another table. Everyone was very friendly. The decor is cute and seating is comfortable. Visiting Savor the Moment was a great way to start the day.

I liked that there was a mix of tables and counter seating. We had an egg and bacon sandwich on a croissant. There were a few bread and meat options to pick from. Solid and reasonably priced. I'm snobby about coffee and tend to avoid my standard drip when the menu features flavored roasts so I went big and got a peanut butter mocha. It was dessert in the morning and it was delicious. There are lots of items for sale. I bought a possum and spaceship mounted to a small geode. I can almost certainly say it was one-of-a-kind. Anyway, loved the experience and will be back.
