I love coming here before the farmers markets on Saturday morning! The coffee and staff is amazing and has me coming back for more. I love the rotating specials and how they team up with Farm Dog Fresh (the peach fest was so good!!!). It can get busy, but I have always found a table to sit at along with enjoying the live music! You'll be able to find free off street parking, it's in a cute neighborhood.

Stopped by 5 Points Coffee and Tea on a Saturday morning with a line out the door! You can order either inside or at their pickup window from the side. Loved their monthly specials (cheddar thyme muffin and almond joy latte), will definitely come back to check their seasonal specials. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available with live music playing. The café is also very dog-friendly!

This is a hidden jem. I went for a new experience. They have seating inside and a very nice patio outside. I was going to get a drink and leave, but the enjoyable music made me stay. The live music that was not overly loud and was relaxing. I ordered an Iced Moonberry Latte. It was delicious. The taste of lavender and blueberry were subtle, they were not strong or over powering. While listening to the music I decided to go back in and try the Irish Sausage Roll which was pretty good. It was a sausage wrapped in a puff pastry. The ambience was very pleasant. Not only was the staff very friendly, but other customers as well. It was a great experience in which I can't wait to go back.

Being a fan of the occasional cup of London Fog, I knew I had to try the Dublin Fog. By far, this was the best chai I've ever gotten. I highly recommend a refreshing Iced Dublin Fog during this summer heat wave! Side note: if you like shops for carbs, they also have delicious baked goods from their bakery.

5 Points is a cute little Irish coffee shop tucked away in a residential area of West Park. Despite being off the beaten path it was consistently busy while we were there. They offered a French press option, which I have not seen at other coffee shops in the area. It was the perfect amount for two people. 5 Points also had vegan options. The Winter Bread was tasty and if you really liked it you could buy an entire loaf. The dining room was small and cozy. They have ample outdoor seating in the warmer months. The staff were friendly. We had a larger order and it was brought to our table. If i am in the area I would definitely stop in again.

UPDATED REVIEW (March 2023) -- My precious review from 2019 is below. I came back years later in March 2023 after originally visiting this little cafe. I visited the weekend of St Patrick's Day on a Saturday morning. This is an Irish cafe that my friend Teagan suggested we come visit so I met my friend here for tea/coffee. There is seating at the back entrance but it is cold because it's outside with no heat but it is covered. TIP -- Instead of the front entrance, order from the back entrance which may be quicker than standing in the long front entrance line. DRINKS -- I don't drink coffee but my friend Teagan ordered a coffee drink with I think some Irish creme and she loved her drink. I was going to order a cup of tea but I just drank some tea when I returned back to my apartment. FOOD (breakfast baguette - 3/5) -- I had such a nice and long chat with my friend that I only ordered food as I left. I tried the Irish Breakfast Baguette ($7.50) that my friend told me about. She had already hers and ate it before I arrived (I was late to our hangout). I ordered mine to go after hanging out with my friend (chat). The Irish Breakfast Baguette sandwich is only served on weekends. It tasted good and has a generous amount of bacon and sausage. It comes with a toasted buttered baguette, scrambled eggs, Irish sausage, Irish bacon, Irish tomato relish (Ballymaloe), and Dubliner cheese. The bread that I got (baguette) was not buttered and having butter on it would have been nice because it was hard since it was toasted. I quickly ate mine in my car before going So, I rate the Irish Breakfast Baguette (3/5). SERVICE -- is still very good and I have no complaints (5/5) AMBIANCE (5/5) -- This is a family friend cafe that gets BUSY on weekends. Because it is so small, there was a line when I arrived but my friend was at the back so I met her at the back entrance and there was no line to order. The ambiance is welcoming and there were 2 live musicians playing inside (one played the harp and the other played a violin). One of them also sang and her voice was good.

    Dog-friendly patio

Great live music on a Saturday morning. Our dog found some shade and was offered a biscuit. There was a water bowl for dogs on the sidewalk. Quiche and ham and cheese puff were yummy and coffee was spot on.

Goals is to become a "local" at this place and be recognized because we love our neighborhood coffee place here!

Cute little Irish coffee place with lots of Irish heritage vibes. Their lattes are on point! (pun intended)... The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I got the oat milk chocolate orange latte and my wife got the oat milk Merry Mint Mocha. Both were made professionally with the right froth temperature. Not sure why but currently only half of the inside area is open, nothing makes any sense these days. They have an outside patio area and also a covered patio section. This would be a great place to get work or studying done especially if they ever open up the whole interior seating. If you're looking for great fancy lattes and in the area, this is the place to check out!

THEY WROTE HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON MY CUP TODAY!!! i love this place!! they really made me feel special and good today on my birthday!! couldn't be more thankful for this place!!!

I had a latte with oat milk and sugar free Irish cream syrup. The flavor was lacking, I could only taste the oat milk. Limited options for plant milks, they only offer oat. I expect more from coffee shops, usually they have almond milk too. The sitting area was pretty basic, nothing cozy that would make me want to sit and drink my coffee there. I took it to go and did not finish it. The baristas were helpful in answering my questions about the drink offerings, I was satisfied with their service.

My favorite Cleveland coffee shop! I used to live down the street and would walk here almost daily. Now, I travel 30+ minutes to get Irish town bend fix. Their convenient outdoor walk up window is enclosed and enforces all necessary covid precautions. Owner is very friendly and staff is 5 stars.

Pro Tip: Visit to get a pic by their cool Lakewood mural inside the store…read more Walking into Burning River Coffee was a bit like stumbling into a local secret - a combo of smoke shop and coffee shop. The front is unassuming, and this combo isn't something you see every day, but somehow, it works... or at least, it's interesting enough to give it a shot. I visited the coffee shop side while working nearby (walking distance) at the co-working center (Icon Cowork). I ordered the red eye. Honestly? It delivered. It wired me for days. It was extremely strong and not well crafted (too much, definitely not barista made). But boy did it do its job. While at the coffee shop, I noticed a small menu of other drinks and no baked goods in the case. It just really had the basics. Service was very quick. The barista (who worked both sides of the house) was nice enough, but the vibe was more transactional than inviting. Not rude, just kind of indifferent. The space had enough tables to sit at and very quiet atmosphere. One thing I couldn't ignore was the scent of vape juice hanging in the air. It didn't bother me personally, but I can see how that could be a turn-off if you're expecting more of a traditional coffee shop aesthetic. Of note is that both sides of the business have the same entrance. They're working on dividing the space into two separate ones according to my quick chat with the employee. Currently the coffee shop has no age restrictions while the smoke shop is 21+. Overall? Burning River Coffee is quirky and good for a simple cup of coffee. It's not a textbook coffee shop experience -- it's its own thing. Just don't expect the usual indie-coffeehouse playlist and aesthetic. Expect something unexpected and different.

Another "don't judge a book by its cover" review. It is more of a coffee bar inside a vape shop,…read morethan it is an actual coffee shop. The location is great to walk to neighborhood shops and restaurants in Lakewood. The friendly staffer really worked her latte magic! She said she always adds a little bit of vanilla to punch up the flavors of the lattes. The coffees were so good. I also appreciated that they used lots of ice....perfectly cold and creamy. The baked goods looked nothing like the pictures on Yelp, but they did have several vegan and gf options. This morning they also had fresh cinnamon rolls.

They had definitely outgrown their old space, so it's exciting to see them just down the street in a new home thats size finally matches the amount of people who are dying for a coffee and crepe. The new spot has two giant rooms with plenty of seating, including the cutest little VHS corner. There's so much more room now to really enjoy the quaint grandma's living room vibe that Brewellas has always been iconic for. Their coffee and crepes are always delicious. Currently they don't have a huge seasonal menu like they normally would, but the classics + pistachio are more than enough for me right now! I cannot wait to go back!

I most recently stopped in during fall to winter transition when the cafe was already dressed up for Christmas - paper snowflakes descending from the ceiling, read bows and stockings adorning the walls, and a Christmas tree in the window. So festive! AMBIANCE: Cafe is one open space with vintage vibes - floral and funky wallpaper, vintage and artisan accessories sold at the cafe, and antique gold frames decorating the walls. The vibes are cozy and calm. The back of the cafe features barista lounge where baristas can relax during their shift, which is a nice amenity. The tables at the cafe get very quickly filled. I almost always get my order to go due to the lack of seating options. My only hesitation about visiting is the lack of one seat options/nooks. I sometimes like to go to a cafe to sit down for a while, read a book, and just pause. There are no options to have this experience here. While I always want to linger, I just take my order to go. If you do manage to get a table as a solo guest, there are some books by the checkout that I'm sure you can borrow. FOOD/DRINKS: Brewella's always invents fun seasonal specials - drinks and food. I always order from the seasonal menu. I also always order crepes. It's hard to find crepes around here that are well prepared. They get them just right at this cafe every single time. This time I ordered Merry Maple Latte ($5), Pear & Brie Crepe ($11). I wasn't crazy about either choice. Merry Maple Latte was too heavy on the milk that overpowered the flavors. I couldn't taste maple at all. Pear & Brie Crepe also didn't hit the spot due to pears. They were too mushy for my liking and too artificially flavored. I feel like pear jam substitute would be a better choice. While I wouldn't order these specific menu items again, I always love crepes and lattes at Brewella's. SERVICE: The service is pretty transactional. I tend to chat with the baristas at other local cafes, often know their names, and enjoy the interaction. Here the service is quick but there are no warm interactions. It's really what I like the least about Brewella's, there's a lack of connection. PARKING: Only street parking available. Parking is a bit hard to come by during the weekends. I plan to arrive early in the day for my next Brewella's visit and bring some friends to enjoy the table seating. I can't wait to see Valentine's Day decor at Brewella's and new drink creations! If you love holiday decor and inventive seasonal drinks this the place for you!
