Next we got Meatballs as an appetizer. I would say there's nothing too special about these (which will be mirrored by most things later.) The meatballs tasted ~fine~, there wasn't anything special but also nothing off putting about it. For the main dishes I got the Black Truffle Pipette for $32. The dish came with braised short rib, but it was pretty disappointing with the portion of short rib. There were maybe 2 good bites of short rib in the entire dish. I also didn't get much of any black truffle taste, the pasta itself was somewhat bland in general. The next dish was Manicotta Della Casa for $23. This dish is hard to explain as it has a lot going on but essentially tastes like a pizza with all the toppings scraped off in a dish together with no crust. It wasn't bad by any means just a little interesting. Overall this was my second impression of the place, I haven't been impressed either time to be honest. I knew it was going to be like this due to the "tourist trap" energy it gives off. Don't get me wrong it's very fun, servers are good and lively, but I think the food just doesn't do it for me necessarily for the price point of the dishes.
