The place has a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly. They took the time to get my nails perfect accept for the color I asked for. Well tried this place with my mom because her regular place was closed today. She had a mani/pedi, I had just a gel mani. First of all...nobody here spoke proper English. I understand them wanting to speak their language between themselves, but not one of them spoke enough English for me to decipher wtf they were asking me. My mom had to get her mani re-done because they didn't make sure the polish was dry before they put lotion all over it...The girl that did my mani was extremely rough, though she was nice. Overall they did an ok job, but way way overpriced. About the only thing they could properly say was "tip" over and over after we paid. Even though we had included tips for everyone who helped us! I don't live in Upland but my son has to come to this city for baseball. With that said, my hands and feet were really neglected and I needed a mani/pedi bad! I figured I could get them done in time to pickup my son. I was lucky to find Savy Nail down the street from where my son was. I was there first customer. I arrived at 9am and was greeted with a smile by the lady who helped me, her name was Tina. The salon is very clean and has many chairs to handle large parties. I purchased the Signature Pedi & Regular Mani. Tina did both for me. I was amazed by how detail oriented Tina was, she took her time to do both so well. Her massage was also awesome! She didn't talk much, but that's ok. I'm there to get my nails done and if she needs to not talk to focus on the task at hand, than I'm all for it! Both cost me $27....a fair price so I tipped her well. I was out of there by 10:20, hands down the best pedicure and manicure I've ever had. Thank you Tina you are very talented! read more

Decided to try out this places since it had been open for a week or so. I was a walk-in and waited about 20-30 minutes to get seated. They were pretty busy and under-staffed. Had a gel-mani and spa pedi done for around $47, and felt like I was overcharged. Where I could have gotten the same thing done at elegant nails for $41. Savy charges for anything extra...$3 to remove existing gel, which is dumb because isn't that what a nail salon does? And if I go back are you gonna charge me to remove the gel you put on in the first place? $3 for designs, $5 for callus treatment...I'm already up $11 in extras. Aside from that, the staff was nice and the salon was clean. Maybe I'll just go back to Theory on Foothill. I mean....if I'm gonna pay those prices I may as well go to a place that has proved to deserve it. read more

I have been coming here since January and this is the first I have gotten bad nails. She cut them way to short and they were all different length. The nails themselves are uneven. She cut me so bad on a couple nails that I could barely let her shape them. Before I had long coffin shaped nails and now they are short with some kind of weird shape. My mom recommended me to come here for my pedicure. I tend to get ingrown toes which at a point it was hard for me too walk. Nancy was amazing in knowing where to cut and get the pressure off. This place is disgusting, staff is unwilling to help, the lady that did my nails began to remove my polish she then proceeded to get a new piece of cotton and clean the polish off (I had black polish on) her hands and then began using the soiled cotton on my hands after using it on herself I called her out on it and she immediately stopped I then told her to stop what she was doing as I did not want her to continue further. She acted like she didn't understand what I was saying I told her I DO NOT want you to do my nails, she asked me "you don't want me to do for you" three times I finally had to tell someone else to tell her to get away from me. I also witnessed someone get a pedicure and when the next person came in for a pedi they sat her in the same seat without cleaning the basin. Just unsanitary and disgusting. This place went down hill. I moved away and recently came back and the lady i used to go to, helen, is gone. When the owner is there, things are fine. She did my nails my first time back and it went well. When it was time for a fill, i called and asked how long is the wait. I always have to take my toddler with me because im a single mom. So i make sure to get there right as they can take me because he wont sit still for long. They told me to come right away and they would take me. I got there within 7 minutes and waited 20 before calling us nails across the street where i ended up going, didnt have to wait and now go every 2 weeks for my fills. This is my second review I am leaving for savy nails and I can honestly say they were great from the start but now they're terrible. Not only do they complain when they do my nails ( because they're long) but they don't like to remove old acrylic for a fresh new set. I figured it was because they're usually busy and they don't like wasting their time doing tedious work. I don't get it because any other salon I go to has no problem doing it. They also like to start u off with one person then they let someone else polish your nails. I've gotten complaints from them because I didn't tip both people doing my nails. If I'm in a hurry and want a mani/pedi, they tell me I can't get both done at the same time or to come back in the following day. So here's my last issue, my nail just broke so I took the whole acrylic off. However when I pulled it off, it was green underneath!! So I've finally had it with these people and finally taking my business else where. By the way don the nice gentlemen that talks shit to u with a smile is always very happy but if you give him any suggestions he snaps at you. I think this place is going the wrong routes trying to save money when they're probably losing more of it. They should probably sterilize their tools more often too now. read more

My daughters and I, ages 4 and 17, went to get our nails and toes done. Was not happy with the results as I gave this place a last try after the last experience wasn't as pleasant as when we had first started going to this location. We ended up spending 3 hours there, just simple pedicures and manicures. They made my 4 year old wait 2 1/2 hours before they would even work on her, didnt finish with her when she wanted her flowers she made her wait another 1/2 hour just to get them done, with attitude from the nail technician to top it off. The nail polish ended up coming off the next day, not good. Will not be visiting this place again. read more

My friend and I have been coming here for at least 2 years. Today I personally had a good experience. My friend on the other hand did not. Kathy was her pedicurist. After she said no thank you to callus remover,she seemed annoyed. I was started at least 10 minutes before her and we both finished same time. She tipped her 1 dollar. They do a good job Nancy does my pedicure and is really good at getting the ingrown nails out with not too much pain, and I like the way she shapes my nails. But anyone of the ladies do a good job too. DO NOT GO HERE!!! My girlfriend came her and showed the lady a photo of some nails on her phone and she claimed she could do the same thing. She charged her 47 dollars and was moaning and sighing the whole time while doing the work. The lady was very rude and pushy. This place is terrible. When she was finished my girlfriends fingers were all cut up an the nails were different shapes and sizes. None of them were symetrical. When they were done we wanted to use debit and she complained about us not using cash. Once my girlfriend saw the horrible job she had done she immediately began to inform the employee.She tried complaining to the lady and asked her to refund her money and she told her she would need to take the nails off. This was OK seeing as how they were atrocious. She told my girlfriend to come back tomorrow morning but she couldn't. She needed it done that day so she left to feed my daughter because they had been there for hours. The employee promised she would take them off that same day but when she went back they ignored her and refused service. They refused to let her speak to a manager and wouldn't give us our money back. We had to contact our bank to submit a claim. We called them back to speak with a manager after we spoke with our bank and the man who answered the phone was screaming "I don't care about you stop calling" horrible business they should be shut down permanently. read more

I had to update this review because I've been coming here about once a month since I moved to the area and now I can speak from multiple visit experiences. This has got to be the best nail spot I've ever frequented. Consistent good service, friendly and always a great job. I finally splurged and got beyond the basic spa pedicure and spent $30 on the #3 callus remover, sea salt and massage package. I seriously feel like I have new feet. They feel clean and pretty and so relaxed. Michelle took her time and went above and beyond to give me the best massage I've ever had on my legs and feet. And to top things off, I had a gel manicure with Tina at the same time. My little beat up nails ended up looking soooo pretty. At one point they were both massaging me at the same time and I felt like a queen! I came in just to have pretty nails before I go on vacation to celebrate my wedding anniversary and I'm leaving beyond satisfied and on cloud 9!!! read more
