Stopped in again for carry out. Took a picture of the beautiful restaurant, very clean and historic. The food was done fast because we were early for dinner. I had the Phad Kee Mao with pork, a stir fried noodle dish with egg, peppers, tomatoes, onions, bamboo shoots, basil, and spicy basil sauce. At first I thought it looked a little dry, but it was perfect. I was amazed how well seasoned it was. The basil sauce gave it a fresh out of the garden taste. The sauce wasn't too spicy, but left that nice warm feeling. The onions and peppers were nice and sweet. The dish has the perfect balance of salty, sweet, spicy, and texture. We got the spring rolls and chicken wings to start. Spring rolls were perfectly assembled and delicious. Chicken wings were some of the best in a spicy/sweet sauce. Yum! For main, I chose a red curry and my friend chose something with noodles in a bowl. They'll go crazy with spices - his "17" was definitely hot. I could smell it from across the table. My "3" was just right to make my nose run a little but I could still taste the vegetables and the curry. Me and my family visit Jeff City quite frequently, we live about 30 minutes away, and each time we visit this hidden gem of a spot and it never fails us! The owners were absolutely adorable, and remembered us. They were so sweet, patient, and served with a smile. The service was amazing! We drove from St. Louis and arrived about 20 min before they were closing on Sunday night. They were kind enough to serve us but rushed the food out too quickly -- rice noodles in Pad See Ew were still harder than they should have been. Both the Pad See Ew and Cashew Chicken entrees were small portions and too sweet for our taste, but that's often dependent on the chef's tastes. When traveling we usually order 2 entrees for 3 of us, plus an appetizer, so that we don't have leftovers. Our 2 entrees were not really big enough to share. I was discriminated against at this Thai restaurant in Jefferson City Missouri located downtown. Someone told me about the restaurant I thought since it was Friday, April 3 at 6:45 PM after work to stop by and check the restaurant out I came there. It was tables and chairs sitting outside where you can either dine inside or dine outside. It was a beautiful day so I decided to dine outside. I placed my order. The lady came out with my food. I didn't get a chance to eat my food. She immediately handed me the bill normally when I go to restaurants and dine in I don't have to pay immediately so I was confused I noticed a white family next to me at the table. I asked them was they charged immediately after they ordered their food and they told me no, at this point, I felt hurt. I was embarrassed. I felt sick to my stomach. I asked the lady who owns the restaurant I had my card on the table. I asked her why was I immediately charged in the next table to me wasn't immediately charged she explained to me that some people came in a couple of weeks ago and ran a $68 tab and they didn't pay and left. I explained to her that I am not that type of people and that I work really hard and I wouldn't dare do that and she kept telling me well I have to pay I have to pay at this point. I was so hurt. I didn't want to eat the food so I just got up and walked and started crying cause I clearly was just discriminated against so I left her with the food that I paid for. I didn't ask her for nothing back. I just walked away because I felt really bad that I was just the discriminated against at this restaurant. I felt that if she or anybody left without paying, why does she still give people the option to dine out and eat I was just very hurt. I wouldn't recommend no one going to this restaurant. This is America. This is a business and you have to be equal with everybody so no I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. They don't like Black people. They think we all are criminals read more

They are slightly below the average when it comes to Thai food. Tom yum soup wasn't lemony. There was barely any meat in Mongolian beef and it was too watery. The satay chicken was ok. The price of Mongolian beef was $1 less in menu compared to the bill. The owners are nice couple though. read more

(GOAT). 2 sets of couples arrived at the establishment AFTER we entered. The appetizer was very tasty- peanut sauce and cucumber sauce was AMAZING. We were given 3 chicken appetizer. She insisted it was ok and it was Pad Thai without peanuts!?!? This place is pretty Americanized Thai food. From previous Yelp photos it looks like they had more interesting dishes in the past that they no longer offer. What they have left on their menu is very basic and catered towards a very Americanized palette. Hopefully they go back to their Thai roots and offer more authentic tasting Thai food. The dishes we had were pretty bland and not very spicy even tho we requested spice level 8 out of 10. We had to ask for a side of peppers to spice it up ourselves. The service is nice and the outdoor dining space is a bonus when the weather is nice 1. Beef salad - you can see from the photos the beef isn't of good quality.
