I saw a video online of this place and all I could see was their potato slice. I needed to try this potato slice. I drove here in the afternoon. It wasn't very busy. The outside area has a lot of parking. They have attractions outside lots to look at. Inside they have a little bit of seating not very much. They have their own ice cream station where they could put cereal on top of your ice cream. You can buy gelato as well to bring home. They make pizza, cheesesteaks, sandwiches. They have pictures of super Mario all over the inside, it is very cool. Right off the bat I ordered the potato slice, the mushroom Barada slice, and the eggplant slice. The star of the show the potato slice, was 10 out of 10. I could eat this for the rest of my life. It was perfect. I was also very excited about the mushroom slice. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly. They were sweet and so delicious. Lastly the eggplant slice, I loved as well. I like how they finely cut the eye plant across and put it on the slice. It wasn't greasy, which I was happy about. Good experience all around.

We came here for lunch, five of us! This place is cute, clean and fun! We tried a bunch of stuff from the menu and it was all delicious! The service is friendly and efficient!! Great for when you are running errands and need a quick stop for lunch or dinner! Great for cheese lovers too, like my son! Can wait to come back so we can try more items from the menu!

A must go, if you're into amazing pizza. This is super authentic to pizza I've had in Italy. First off, the decor is outstanding. So much fun and I was mesmerized just looking at all the cool murals and fun items placed all over the restaurant. The staff were super busy, but extremely nice and helpful. They explained all the options and even guided me through my very difficult pizza choosing decisions. I honestly would've tried all the different types of pizzas if I could. I thoroughly enjoyed the eggplant slice, mushroom and even the plain was delicious. Plenty of refreshing drinks to choose from as well and a little seating area inside. They have outdoor seating too with some fun games like foosball and cornhole. This is a great spot for an entertaining and delicious meal. Check it out, you won't be disappointed! Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the whole place just feels like a solid go-to spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner. We started with the fried calamari, and honestly... it was amazing. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the portion was generous. The only small note is that the seasoning was a bit strong/bold for our taste--almost like it needed a little more time to marinate or mellow so the flavors could balance better. Still, we cleaned the plate. It's the kind of appetizer that makes you keep reaching for just one more piece. For the mains, I ordered the Shed Burger and my wife went with the Steak House Burger (the one with bleu cheese, crispy onions, and house steak sauce). Both were excellent. The Shed Burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and stacked just right with the American and Swiss, lettuce, tomato, onion jam, and that signature Shed sauce. The Steak House Burger was equally impressive--the steak sauce and bleu cheese gave it a richer, more savory punch that my wife loved. Taste on both was awesome. The meat was cooked properly, the buns held up, and the overall flavor was spot-on comfort food done right. We also got the Shed Fries on the side and they were crispy and addictive with the dipping sauce. Everything felt fresh and made with care. Portions were solid, the atmosphere made it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal, and we left happy and already talking about what we'll order next time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, tasty meal in Plainview. We'll definitely be back.

Checking in was easy, finding our room, not so much. Hotel has ample signage and plenty of parking. Elevator is located at the far side of the building closest to the restaurant and some banquet rooms. We got out on our floor and had four hallways to chose from. Confusing. The two hallways on the far side of either direction takes you to the atrium walk ways that are located outside of rooms with sliding glass doors out to the atrium. Seemed a little invasive to walk by those rooms so late so opted for the inside corridor. Which was longer then making use of the atrium walk way. Having just has a hip replacement, this walls was not welcome. THANK GOD our room wasn't at the opposite end of the hotel, that wall would have taken me forever! Room was cleans s nicely appointed. For two tired people, it took us a few minutes to find the switches for the over bed wall light and the one above the entertainment center. Had a half decent sleep, do not think they had the foam pillows I usually get when I make use of the Marriott app which has all my preferences including foam pillows request. I did so the gentleman who checked us in to make sure they were foam. One does not get poked nor does a foam pillow deflat to a pancake width. Second night I had to make use of one of the couch pillows for support. Now I like to sleep in a little and my man is respectful for this and exited our room at 6:30a. Went to the lobby and started to look for the Marriott signature 24/7 coffee and hot water offering. Um, where is it?!? Husband told he had to wait for the restaurant to open and they will sell him a cup of coffee!?! Not Marriott staple service AT ALL! K I have to say, I am a previous Marriott employee and KNOW their standards and this did not meet. A man ended up stopping my man to ask him where he got the coffee from Dunkin doughnuts a few black cake away! He was told the same thing. Why would you send your guests out into territory that is unknown to them? We returned early evening and walked past the rooms with the sliding glass doors not caring now if we see something we shouldn't. No housekeeping as per our request since we were there for two nights only. Post stay: I wrote a review for the property and got a lovely, apologetic email. There is nothing they can do about the elevator being so far from a majority of their rooms. Major renovations would have to happen. He will speak with the restaurant for further understanding as to why a Marriott staple that travelers depend on is not present in their property. Most likely will not be back.

One of the front desk representatives was extremely rude and would benefit greatly from retraining, or perhaps a role behind the scenes where she does not interact with guests. When I showed her a photo of the conditions in our room, she simply asked to take a picture of it and then completely ignored me. On top of that service experience, we had to be reassigned to three different rooms before getting a decent one: * Room 1: Was not properly cleaned; there were hairs all over the bed and a filthy bathroom. * Room 2: Had what appeared to be blood stains on the bedding. * Room 3: Was acceptable by default, though the AC was weak and a fixture came off in the shower which were issues that only seemed minor compared to what we had just dealt with. To be fair, credit should be given to the representative who assisted with the room changes bevause she was helpful and apologetic. I also spoke with a manager at checkout to provide a brief rundown of this experience. While she apologized and offered to add some points to my account, the gesture felt minimal given the inconvenience of the situation. We were extremely disappointed with this stay. Had we been able to switch hotels last minute, we absolutely would have. This is simply not the level of hospitality or standards I have come to expect from the Marriott brand.

I looked at the menu on top of the order counter and ordered with the cashier. I had wanted to try the Roast Cubano, but she said it just gotten taken off the menu. Instead, I ordered the Roast Beef Melt ($16.20), Sweet Potato Tots ($6.99), and Coke ($2.75) to go. It took only a few minutes for my order to be ready. The Roast Beef Melt was a very good size and I was full just eating half of the sandwich. The ciabatta was super crunchy and crispy. The Roast Beef Melt had mozzarella, horseradish sauce, garlic butter, and crispy onions on everything ciabatta with a side of au jus. I took my first bites without dipping it into the au jus and the next few bites with the au jus. I don't think the au jus is needed, but a nice option. I don't really care for sweet potato, but I do love tots so I wanted to the Sweet Potato Tots. Though I didn't enjoy them as much as my husband who really likes sweet potato so he ate most of them. Roast Sandwich House can definitely be busy around noon, but it doesn't take too long for an order to be ready. There are also tables outside which can be enjoyable on a nice day.
