Dominican Desayuno Dominicano / Dominican Breakfast

The workers here always so kind and patient! I come here specifically for the authentic Dominican dish options. I've gone more than one to order the Dominican breakfast (Tres Golpes) which tastes amazing each time!! They also have some options that caters to the Honduran culture although I haven't tried it. They also serve you A LOT on your plate so the price is well worth it. We ordered two dishes and two drinks (not shown in the picture) and paid $34.

Love it here!!!! I used the Too Good 2 Go app for this meal, and it did not disappoint!!! Great portions, big flavors, and plenty options! Great kind service always smiling. And a great space... not large, but great for a lunch stop or grab n go! Their juices are great too!! Highly recommend!

    Mixed plate. Great!

Quaint restaurant in Grand Prairie. I actually decided to order from too good to go. Everything was good and fresh and we were less than an hour from them. Losing. Everyone was nice and accommodating. The food was so good and they give you great portions. I will be back soon for the chicharon. It looks like that may be there best seller.

I've been eyeing this place for the past several months and finally got a chance to stop by on Sunday. Overall, the food was really good and I will visit again. I tried steak with peppers and onions, rice, mashed plantains and regular plantains. The steak was on the dry side, but flavorful. The other sides easily get a 10/10 for me which is crazy because I don't particularly like plantains. Service was good, but I did have to wait awhile for someone to help me who spoke English. I'll brush up on my Spanish and be prepared next time. It's a little hole in the wall place, very close to Ikea. Check them out!

The food was great, seasoned and plentiful. The only con is the place was too small for as much business they receive. It's time to expand.

Absolutely delicious! Ordered food for delivery after eating once in person. My in person experience had delicious food but it can be a little confusing trying to order as it is unclear how much items cost (it is sort of a hot lunch line) . But the food we ordered today was so flavorful, hot on arrival, and tasted fresh. Looking forward to eating leftovers tomorrow and trying again in person.

The chips are good and the bean dip and salsa are excellent. Today we split chicken and skirt steak fajitas. They were excellent! The biggest problem with steak fajitas is when the meat is tough or chewy, making it difficult to eat without pulling the meat out of the tortilla. The meat today was delicious and tender. Service was fantastic. Our server, Oscar was fast and attentive enough to make sure we were enjoying the meal, not too intrusive. The atmosphere feels more authentic than many larger chains. There are a lot of tables and it is not quiet, but not really noisy either. It was easy to carry on a quiet conversation. Would highly recommend. I have no idea why their Yelp rating isn't higher.

It's hard to overlook when it happens repeatedly. We're generous tippers and consistent customers, but this visit made it clear that it's time for us to move on. Low lighting, beautiful glassware, just an all around vibe. They were pretty slow but it was also a Wednesday night. Drinks were amazing and they had a lot of options. I got the Guava Sunset and it was so refreshing (pictured). We also got the ceviche which tasted very fresh and was a good portion for an appetizer. The filet was perfectly cooked and the chimichurri sauce was to die for. I forgot to take a picture of it because we dug in as soon as it landed on the table. Service felt very personable which I enjoyed. They also gave my date a rose at the end of our meal to give to me which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, great first impression and we will definitely be back! Or I may even bring the girlies for a girls night! Side note.. I'm not sure why reviews are so negative, as new restaurants deserve grace while they figure out what works for them and I think we all need to have a little patience and understanding.

I ended up grabbing street parking a few blocks over with a 2-Hr limit. Next, we had reservations at 8 PM and there really weren't many guests, which is pretty off for dinner time. The ambiance and overall aesthetic of the space is nice. The music isn't loud so you can easily carry a conversation. My personal highlight from the night was the complimentary alcohol-free shot the very kind bartender provided for me. I'm sober so I appreciated feeling like everyone else! Lastly, the food was terrible and over priced. I was hoping to like the lobster bisque but was greatly disappointment. It taste like velvetta cheese and was extremely bland and lumpy. Almost like they receive it frozen and heat it up before serving. Out of all the 4 dishes, only the lamb chops were really good. One of my friends got the chicken Alfredo and said it taste like warmed up Olive Garden. My other friend got the Carne de Fuego which is suppose to be Waygu beef and wasn't. With a price of $59 with ONLY 4 pieces of asparagus as a side, we were expecting more. I ended up sending the lobster bisque back and settling for the caesar salad (no protein) which was $15.
