Amazing guys! Chris and Dave feel like old school shop guys. My dad was a mechanic and these guys seem like they're cut from the same mold. But younger of course! What I mean is that they've got integrity. Honest, down to earth dudes that love cars! We took our Honda Pilot in for the"big service." Timing belt. Water pump. They found some other things that we knew were problematic but held off because we didn't have a shop. But I'm glad these were the guys recommended by my Subaru shop (Andrewtech). Talked shop with Chris and love this dude already. They took care of our Honda like it was theirs. Prices were more than reasonable. They even fixed an issue of neglect by the dealer. You'd think the dealer can do something as simple as an oil change but nope, they messed that up too! No worries because I'm taking it to SB Automotive from now on! What a great experience at SB Automotive! I was referred here from a friend and am thankful to have found this place. They brought my car back right away and got me out of there in a reasonable amount of time given that I needed my front brakes replaced and an oil change. They were friendly and honest and not only answered my questions but explained everything that needed to be done in great detail AND explained things to watch out for later. I used to bring my old Honda CR-V here for oil changes, tire rotation, or plugging a hole in my tire from a nail. The car had over 250k miles. They always took good care of her. My husband does most of the work on our cars. But there are some things that requires special machines. We received word of mouth recommendation for this shop due to it's quality of work, pricing, and their ability to work on modified cars. We were looking for a wheel/tire balancing service, although it's nothing crazy - it was for our oversized tire picky setup for our 21 Jeep Wrangler. I called to make an appointment for the wheel/tire balancing. Even though they were completely booked for the rest of the week, they were still able to fit me in. My previous wheel/tires were road forced balanced 5000 miles ago. Here, they use laser balancing. After I received my newly balanced wheel/tires - it was evident that we should've used a laser balancing service in the first place. The ride was smooth and quiet and unlike before, our wrangler drove straight over bumps with no bump steer! It was straight and true over all the bumps. Physically comparing, the laser balancing also used less weights compared to road force. I'm a true believer for laser balancing now! With that said, not only did it this place make time for us in their busy schedule, they made our Wrangler drive like new! We dealt with Chris and David. They were very polite and informative on the phone. They gave me a standard price quote for four wheels/tires balancing but actually charged me less than the quote = WIN! I'm stoked!! I'll start there before I rant, in a good way of course. I reached out to SB Automotive and I got a quick prompt response from Chris. First impression was great I got the answers I wanted and arraigned for my car to get dropped off. I've known David through a friend, as an outsider I always followed his work and always was a fan. I never had any lack of confidence in the work which is why I elected them. I didn't have not one worry whatsoever, at all! You know that feeling where you just know everything is going to be alright? That was me. From first email to drop off to social media updates (lol) wasn't expecting to have them post my car to picking up my car it was all too easy. Mind you what I got done on my car is minuscule in comparison to what these guys do. They do some really really intense projects. I work in the car industry (Car Audio) not in the Auto Tech side of the world and I can honestly relate to their work ethic as it's what I believe in and do. I own a ford ranger 2000 and a couple of weeks ago it began making some horrible noises coming from the engine. I spoke to a cousin of mine who referred me to Chris @ SBautomotive. Spoke witth Chris on the phone he sounded like a very knowledgeable guy. I got my truck towed to sbautomotive since it wasn't driveable, turns out it had a crack in the head gasket. They have a sign on the street so you can easily pull in to find and it's right next to prestige . Chris and Dave know their stuff and are always willing to work with you , and give diagnosis and list of what needs to be done first . The list was clear organized and prices along with the total . They also can email it to you which is helpful. They are quick with labor and work , but the only wait times are for parts arrival. But they always keep you updated . The drop off box is big and obvious so you can't miss which is also helpful. they're nice and friendly guys , customer service 100. For any clarification or questions you can always call as well. The waiting room is comfortable with a water cooler and a few magazines . Chris was smart and he knew what I would need done next and prioritized. Repairing a car cost money which is to be expected especially if you want your car to last . Not cheap but quality and that is what is important , you have to invest in your car. I rely on them the most because they are dependable , knowledgable , experienced, and won't leave you stranded and safety comes first . Great customer service by experienced and professional mechanics. My car had the same issue for years. I tried getting it fixed a couple times but the places I took it to would fix something thinking that was the root of the problem and it never was. Finally I gave up because the issue wasn't giving me any crazy warning lights and my car wasn't breaking down but it was annoying and it did have some signs that it could be something bigger so I was worried about getting "exploratory" work done because I didn't want to get hit with a big bill.
