I'm so upset about my service here. I thought they were trust worthy and I've been to this place before so I trusted them. My husband paid over $2439.61 to get my rear brakes done, rotors, wheel bearings, oil change, ball joints upper and lower, alignment, they had my car for 3 weeks I had to rent a vehicle. We did not question the price we just waited patiently for our jeep to be fixed. It's evident that the car was not touched. The jeep is screeching from the rotors rubbing together and the ball joints are ratting. I was unable to address this Friday because I had to attend my close family members funeral, but I'm beyond disappointed and mad. We are not rich, I do not have money to throw down the drain. I cannot believe after 3 weeks my car is exactly how I dropped it off. I will be contacting the better business bureau cause this is a form of theft. I don't know if a mechanic is trying to sabotage their business or what cause. If they are someone needs to be fired. I've never ever in my life dropped of a car to get fixed that came home in the same condition I dropped in off in. Is it because I'm a woman and my husband was not here to take the vehicle? Back in November, I had a very good experience at Executive Tire. The car had a tire with a slow leak, which I had understood to be very hard to fix. My solution? Buy new tires. I didn't want one new tire and three older ones, so I called and told them I wanted four new tires. Rick asked what the problem was, I explained, and he said I probably didn't need a new tire, and that, yes, a slow leak likely could be fixed. Ordered the tires from tirerack.com at a very reasonable price and had the tires replaced there. The owner is what I would call a gentleman pretending to run a business. In the one hour that I was sitting there, he was invariably polite and courteous to everyone on the phone or in person. The rest of the staff also reflect the same attitude. A person walked in and almost curtly demanded that his tires be inflated. Unexpectedly had to take my car here and service was great. I was getting a migraine at work one day so I decided I needed to gtfo and go home. I walked out to my car and found it with a totally flat tire. After wallowing in self pity for awhile, I got the spare put on but my tire was somehow totally destroyed so I need a new tire. My car would crank but not start after an extended vacation, and after failing to jump it, realized there was a bigger issue. After reading all the good reviews, I towed my car to Executive Wholesale Tire. The first problem is they told me on a Wednesday that they are available, and I could bring it in, and although they did a quick evaluation the next day, didn't look at my car until the following Wednesday. If a shop says I can bring my car without an appointment, it's implied they have the time to look at it, otherwise I would have expected a more honest answer saying they're pretty backed up. As part of the initial evaluation, they said I had very low oil, so they said they added some and tried starting it again, no dice. The next thing they did nearly a week later was a compression test on one cylinder. Low compression, and they say something is broken inside the engine, and I need a new engine. Before spending $5-$6k on a new engine (or more on a new car), I towed it to another mechanic for a second opinion. He looked at it, said there was STILL barely no oil, added some full synthetic to full, and the car started! Although some work still needs to be done (like new spark plugs and battery cleaning), it's a whole lot better than a new engine. Point is, I'm giving 2 stars because the guys I spoke with on the phone (Rick and Brandon) were nice and tried to be accommodating, but if you need emergency work, or any serious mechanical work done on your vehicle, I would recommend looking elsewhere. We recently moved back to MD and have been going through the exciting task of changing our license and car registration. We needed to get a state inspection done on both of our cars and found out that MD's prices for inspection is a huge range, which I find to be strange. Why is the price not state mandated? I called several places to "shop around" for quotes and Executive Wholesale Tire was the best ($80). Not only was the price competitive, but their customer service was great (I spoke with Ian) He was knowledgeable and patient with me on explaining the requirements for MD. Took my vehicle in recently because the Low Tire warning light came on even though we had just put air in all of the tires three weeks ago. Rick was a pleasure to work with and they checked all four tires plus the spare but couldn't find a leak. I accidentally learned about this place after ordering tires online from TireBuyer. It's one of the tire installers in my area listed on the TireBuyer web site. It was probably the best tire purchase and installation experience I've ever had. The tires were delivered to EWT by TireBuyer two business days after I ordered them, as promised. I had a 10:30 a.m. appointment at EWT and was all done by 11:40 a.m. The price for mounting and balancing was about 30% lower than the price from other tire dealers. The price of the tires from TireBuyer was lower than any wholesale club (Costco, Sam's, etc.) The guys at the desk were all friendly, efficient, and competent. They genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I used to buy tires at Costco, but from now on, I'm going to order tires online and have EWT install them. Unbelievable customer service. After special ordering tires over the phone (which I was not required to pay for in advance), they actually suggested I could get more life out of my old tires. Who tries to not sell you stuff when that is their business? When I told them of my current problem, they inspected and found an unrepairable puncture. Their prices (on parts and labor)are pretty good for the area. They are not always the cheapest, but they provide the best service between DC, Bethesda, and Rockville. They always explain what repairs they are doing before they make them, if you happen to have a budget, they will do their best to keep the cost down as much as possible. (though they still can't let you drive if the parts are unusable... duh) Who in their right mind would? They have been my vendor for tires, brakes, and even a new exhaust, which all were really good pricing with quick and friendly service. Their customer service rep, Rick Regnier, is the best...very knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. I have watched his interactions with customers and he is great with everyone that comes through the door...only recommends needed services and never tries to upsell. Their pricing is very competitive and they have excellent ASE certified mechanics. I originally went there for tires but now have them do all the routine maintenance on my 2001 Corolla which is still running great after all these years. I tried to set an appointment over the phone to have tires installed and it was not a good customer service experience. First, I wanted to inquire about the total estimate of the selected tires I wanted and was put on hold twice. it seemed as if the person there was not sure. Additionally, a text message was received a few minutes later from an unknown source to me, indicating the tires were unavailable. This seemed unprofessional as I did not recognize the name. I then did my own research to discover that the tires were in stock with tire rack. As a result I called back with the same " unenthusiastic" person and he stated he had already spoken to me an d the tires were out of stock. I informed him that they were in stock according to Tire Rack. He stated that I would need to order them then, since they could not. This made absolutely no sense to me I would have done so. However, I considered another vendor, based on this experience. The lack of effort to explain prior, the condescending attitude and poo communication to a potential new customer. it is obvious they don't value service here and I will not do business there, with my vehicle or several other colleagues I know. Perhaps one of the most overrated places I've had the misfortune of dealing with. Went to get a tire pressure sensor installed and the tech broke my lug. I finally went back to get it removed after trying to get scheduled numerous times as I needed to do my brakes and they charged me $150 to remove one lug nut. Said it wasn't their fault. Just poor customer service in my opinion. If you say that you break lug nuts like mine all the time perhaps you should take better care when removing them. Let's add insult to injury...they forgot to put my key back in my car and I was 40 min away trying to do my brakes when I realized it. This was the first time I had to change the tires on my car, and I had no idea what I was doing or what kind of tires to get. My boyfriend recommended this place and after reviewing several places on Yelp, I decided to go with Executive. I called the day before to schedule an appointment/make sure they had tires that would fit my Mazda3. I got there around 4:30 PM and was helped immediately. The guy at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable! He told me only the front two needed to be replaced and that there was a lot of tread left on my back tires. He gave me two options but recommended one that he used himself, however, he said both are good brands. The difference in prices was just a few dollars so I went with his recommendation and handed over my keys. They were done in about 20-25 minutes. This review is specifically for my first time at Executive Wholesale Tire for a tire repair. It was Friday afternoon and I was running around doing errands in Rockville when I realized one of my tires was low on air (again). I had pumped air into the tire a couple of times already over the last several weeks; so I was thinking there was a leak somewhere. I checked on Yelp! and searched for the term "tire repair" to find the closest high-rated place closest to where I was. Unfortunately, it wasn't this place; but after a bit of frustration with the first place I went to, I decided it was worth the additional 15-20 minutes drive to go to Executive Wholesale. And it was well worth it! Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly guys behind the counter; at first I was skeptical and thought "yeah, they're probably thinking, 'a woman who doesn't know much about cars and we can sucker into repairs she doesn't need'. Cynical I know, but you know exactly where I'm coming from, right? Anyway, I explained to them what I was there for and they said they were busy (it WAS Friday afternoon after all) but they can get me in and out in about an hour. Fair enough. I sat in their small, but tidy waiting room reading up on my WSJ news for the day and within less than an hour one of the guys called me up and said my car was done. WOW! He also showed me the nail that had been in my tire and told me there was also a leak along the perimeter of tire rim. I asked how much life my tires had and when I would need to replace them. He went back into the garage area and within minutes, he said my front tires were practically new (have had them for about 1.5yrs) and my rear tires still had about 5000-10,000 miles on them. Where previous tire places told me as recent as June that it was critical I change my rear tires ASAP, this place was honest about it. Like one of the previous reviewers said, "what tire place tells you you don't need new tires at this point?"... an honest one, that's what. And to top it off, it only cost me $25 (whereas the previous place quoted me at $35) in under an hour (without an appointment).
