This place is a great hidden gem thats tucked away from public view from state street. Ive tried all the pho spots in town and this one, customer who is flavorful broth, I've ever experienced. The portions are definitely smaller than some of the other spots in town, but the flavor definitely makes up for it. Last time I went, I tried the bahn mi. A little on the smaller side, but the flavor was wonderful, and super authentic with nice crispy, but chewy bread. Make sure to ask for it with the pate, as it brings the authenticity and flavor to a whole Nother level. They also have fresh coconut so you can drink at it, which is pretty cool. New favorite place in town ! They have some of the best fresh tofu spring rolls I have had in town. It's not just rice paper filled with mixed greens. It actually has some substance. The tofu is made really well and also has flavor and the peanut sauce is delicious. Seems like they make it here from scratch or some kind of twist on it because it has a really great flavor.. my favorite is that they also have little pots of tea if you were going to be sitting in and you can add different kinds of flowers to it. a restaurant and they also have cute outdoor seating in a little courtyard. read more

Costumer service great ! I was greeted as soon as i walked in, which was welcoming. I am not from around town, and the chilly weather made me crave a warm bowl of Pho Gà. I was not impressed, to be honest. I ordered a small chicken pho bowl. The presentation was ok. It had 7 tiny (1x1cm) chuncks of chicken, and the broth did not meet my expectations. However, the shrimp sping rolls were delicious. The peanut butter sauce could be better. Pricey* If you haven't tried good Pho, this will do. Hidden off state street, in the Victoria court yard, you will find this cute lil restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Came for a quick lunch with my oldest, and she wanted pho. After wandering state st for a second, we found the restaurant and decided to sit in the lovely patio, with shade. I ordered the banh mi with pork, and a small pho for my daughter. The lady asked if I wanted the banh mi spicy with jalepenos and I said yes! After a few minutes our food came out. The banh mi was tasty, bread had a crunchy crust, but soft interior. Pork was tender and flavorful. Fresh cilantro and pickled veggies. The jalepenos added little heat too. The pho was another level. I've had quite a few in my time and around town, but was blown away by flavor of the broth, tender cuts of meat, and side toppings, and that was all from just a slurp bite from the lil ones bowl! So, I've been coming here for a couple years now. The pho has been the best in town (not much competition to begin with tbh) but recently this place has been doing things that ticked me off. 1. Price for a beef pho is now $17-18 with tax. It used to be $14 and even back then it was overpriced for what you get. The ingredients are dirt cheap that's why pho places in LA and OC are $12-13 for a bowl. 2. Portions are basically for a small child. If you get pho for take out they literally give it to you in a small takeout box. Finish it in 4 bites lol did I even eat anything? 3. They seem to think it's okay to give you stale/old wrinkly basil. One time I went, they didn't even have sprouts. But they made me pay the same price, and it's not like they gave me more onions to replace the sprouts. It was just literally same amount of everything, but without sprouts. Still $17. Don't let them get away with this kind of service. read more

Growing up in 626 and eating my way through Westminster for most of my adult life, I was a little hesitant to give this place a try and wondered how authentic could the pho be when they also offer pizza and Korean options. When we went into this restaurant, it was a rainy and "cool" Friday. We were looking to just get warmed up and when we saw "Pho" we said, why not try? As we live in South Bay, we get to eat Pho quite often but when we got our order of Fresh Spring rolls and the Pho, we were quite surprised for how tasty they were! The soup is flavorful but not overpowering. It leaves your mouth feeling satisfied and clean. You don't reach for water or drinks but you reach for another spoonful of that delicious soup! If we lived closer, we would be there weekly but it's too far for us. But I am glad we found this place. Now we will need an excuse to go to SB more often, Crossing fingers that my child will get into UCSB! We ended up ordering the extra fresh spring rolls so we did not get to try the desserts or Vietnamese coffee, can't wait to try them next time! read more

They have a lot of other eclectic options as well, but my wife and I have never tried anything besides the Pho and spring rolls. Walking down State Street we smelled this delicious aroma wafting out of Victoria Court. We followed the delightful smell through the court and found a small pho restaurant. We left because we had other business to attend to, but the smell was so good we remembered it to come back and try it. We came back later in the day and it did not disappoint. Ordered their ribeye pho as well as beef fried spring rolls. The flavor of the pho was exquisite. It was some of the best pho broth we've had. Beef quality was good, and the egg rolls paired nicely with this sweet/spicy sauce that was a nice blend of both flavors. 10/10 recommend, very very impressed. read more

A small mom and pops inside the plaza needs to have better service and bigger dishes so people walk inside as it can't be Seen on the street. I came to SB for a wedding & stopped by this place on our trip back with our family, a party of 15. The Pho is not bad but the small bowl is very small, like kids size. It seems that the people here are not Vietnamese & the waitress did not understand English well. Also it seems that they are not used to a large party so they seemed a bit unorganized with our order, forgetting which is which. The waitress also got stressed out & was giving me attitude when I asked her to take a picture for the group. I would recommend improving the service & the dish portion. read more

Please do not tip here, the owner takes all cash tips from the jar as well as most card transaction tips, if anything hand them the cash instead. Wow, I honestly feel really bad for the employees that have to work here. I came a few days ago, the lady working up front looked extremely overwhelmed and stressed. As I was paying for my to go pho, she said to not tip because "we don't get it". More employees working up front informed me not to tip because the owners take all of the cash as well as most of the kiosk tips. The owners were out of town as well, please don't give your money to this place and do not tip because they won't get it unless you hand it straight to them. Also the large beef pho for 19.99 is very small portion, not enough for what you pay for. Saigon and Sachi have great portioned well tasting pho alternative to this. read more

I really want to love this place. So far I like it okay and I'm coming back one more time at least. Actually the first time I got the Banh Mi sandwich and it was pretty good. So that might be set my time back for any time. This most recent time I really wanted to try the shakshuka. I just found a really good but it was so disappointing. Maybe that's what it is but it tasted pretty much like a marinara sauce with supposed to eggs. And the bread was just some sandwich roll. Nothing like in the menu pic. The Chicken Alfredo pizza was pretty bland but luckily I packed along some hot sauce and ended up scooping the shakshuka on top to make it much better. Since going last I've been toldbby others that the Pho bowls are really good. I'll be back to try that and update and hopefully move more toward really liking this place. read more

Compared to the places around it I guess it looks a bit less impressive, but the food is still really really good. really nice place, with the hanging lights, plants, wreaths, lanterns and more. you can ask for a heater if you want and they have indoor and outdoor dining. there's a large variety of different foods, but we only tried the pho and pizza(I recommend garlic chicken alfredo) both were really good :D the service is also pretty good and the guy who served us was very nice :) overall, 100% recommend!! read more
