Wanted to try a new pizza place since we thought we needed a change from Ca'Dario and Bettina and ordered because of the sourdough advertised. The pizza had what looked and tasted like frozen crust, and overall had a very school cafeteria/frozen pizza taste. Rare raw and chilly day in Santa Barbara. 2:55pm on a Sunday. Too late for brunch or is it? Looks like my egg dish fantasy is about to die, then Yelp spits out 4 eggs and Pizza. Strange name, I like that and they serve Vietnamese dishes too. It's run by a cute couple in their 7th year of marriage, she's Vietnamese and a stickler for high quality food, he's a white local who has past experience working in the high end food industry. I ordered the Chicken Pho and my wife ordered the Banh Mi egg sandwich with freshly pickled veggies and toasted baguette. My wife is Vietnamese and she was impressed with the Banh Mi sandwhich. Eggs gently cooked on top of obviously freshly made pickeld veggies on toasted baguette that was both crisp, fluffy & light. My chicken pho was hands down the best chicken pho I have had and I have been to some of the top Pho restaurants in both little Saigon's in Orange County & San Jose area. Why? rice noodles cooked to the right texture. The bean sprouts where super crispy & fresh. She had thai basil which I haven't had in any of the other Vietnamese restaurants in town. Fresh and fragrant. I have to have my Pho with thai basil. The chicken was tender, which often isn't the case in Pho where some restaurants may cook the chicken in the soup and over cook it after a while. At 4eggsP they freshly cook the chicken to order and add it in. You can taste the difference this makes. Finally the broth. Clean with a lot of body. Home made with the balanced hint of star anise which goes so well with the thai basil and fresh jalapeño slices. I didn't feel the need to add any hoison or Sriracha sause. The soups blend of home made fresh ingredients and balance full bodied broth was simply perfect and didn't need a thing except for a good squeeze of lime. My wife rejoiced to finally find a place that has high quality Vietnamese food and will likely try their sourdough pizzas next. read more

Was hungry and looking up new places to try in Santa Barbara. I am a local and have seen many new places through out my years. As I was skipping along the internet I saw 4 eggs & pizza. Well glancing at the menu and see the combination of foods. To us at first glance the menu looked odd and not like something that I would normally try. From my experience when a place has more than one cuisine on the menu it usually does not turn out well. WAS I SURPRISED! Me and my partner had the pho and bahn mi sandwich. These two items did not disappoint. Me and my partner have traveled to south east Asia and these two dishes were very authentic and made to perfection! The husband and wife who run this place are very nice and amazing cooks. 10000% worth the try! I will be going back and trying the many other dishes very soon! read more

It is really rare to find a place that has a full English breakfast. They have it on the menu and it is delicious! The husband and wife that own the restaurant are super friendly and we had an overall great experience. This place has become one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It is out of the way and super charming - very relaxed. The Shakshuka is wonderful and unique, served in a small cast iron skillet. It is loaded with taste and such a surprise as very few places serve this dish. Next was the Banh Mi which was savory and fresh. Lastly, I think the pizza is, again, very unique. The sourdough crust is not wildly different from other crust but very enjoyable. The real pizza review came from my wife. I brought some home and she tried it. Half-way through her first piece, she asked where I got the pizza from. I told her and she was emphatic - this might be the best pizza in the city. Best most flavorful pho we've ever had. The aroma of the spices in the broth alone was enough to show how high quality it was. My boyfriend had the chicken pho with chicken broth and I had the veggie pho with vegan broth and both were so full of spice and flavor. I find that with most vegan pho broths, there's almost no taste but the flavors were so pronounced. Great for meat eaters, happy surprise for vegitarians. We were driving through the area and we needed a bite to eat. This place had positive reviews in yelp ( no clue why), so we took a chance. Boy, what a mistake!! We ordered the chicken curry, small beef pho, egg rolls. After seeing the food, im convinced all the food was store bought, ie trader joes. The curry was pretty much watered down soup. Unbelievably watery, nasty. The pho bowls were tiny, almost like a soup bowl. I had tiny bowl phos before in Vietnam but It was 2 dollars though! Not $16!! The beef egg rolls were presented like a dried up microwaved fruit. No greens, no cucumbers, etc. Just that sweet dip that's everywhere. Bad bad sign. The egg rolls itself hardly had any beef, it was all air, all crunch. Store bought for sure! I'm guessing they're fooling the locals there somehow. Some of the clientele probably cant tell how bad and unauthentic this place is. Shame on the owners. Terrible service too. Last tip: don't pretip when ordering from the counter. The young woman working there has no clue. We had to ask for literally everything. Utensils, napkins, condiments, etc Its just uncomfortable asking for things that should be on thr table already. Probably my favorite pizza in SB. All the ingredients are really quality. My friend who's worked at a pizza joint in LA says this is the best pizza he's had. I'm inclined to agree. No gimmicks or signature touches, just a very well-made pizza. And most importantly, the quality (especially of the crust) has been almost exactly the same every time I've come. The pho is also surprisingly good. Nice cuts of meat in there. Portion of noodles could be larger, though. read more

I have already come here multiple times and it is a great place. Always get the pho and the Bahn mi which are both outstanding and very authentic. The broth in the pho ranks up there as one of the best I have had. Ron the owner and his wife are also very friendly. The food is great, which sucks because you can't enjoy a meal there without hearing the husband berate, belittle, and disrespect his wife (who makes the famous pho). It's a super uncomfortable atmosphere because of that, and it really sounds like he just doesn't like women. I'd rather spend the day with my divorced parents than eat at this restaurant, at least then I'd get free food. Or order online and spend the extra bucks. read more
