    Large Veggie broth, Vietnamese Pho
    Celine P.

I love this cozy nook. There's a lot of fun options on the menu like boba and banh mi, but we ordered hot soups for the cold winter afternoon. They offered cabbage instead of bean sprouts which was flabbergasting but when we asked for bean sprouts, they brought it to us. The soup was the perfect amount of hot temperature, which wasn't scalding but warmed up my soul. I thought the noodles were a bit over cooked since they were choppy and sticky to each other, but my love thought they were fine. I inhaled the soup though. Super flavorful. Would come again.

Bahn Mi bread and flavor with pork were perfect. Loved extra jalapeños in mine

Ambiance on patio at Victoria court was lovely. Quiet, brick with climbing ivy. Food was great and they bring food out to patio. Enjoyed my meal. Boba texture not great.

I got the pho beef rib eye. The broth had no depth to it, just tasted like salt. Noodles were on the overcooked side. Also I wasn't given any bean sprouts, instead they served cabbage on the side...the lime was brown and Thai basil was old. For the amount you're paying you'd think you'd get quality ingredients. The restaurant was very hot inside, so I sat outside. The service was quick, you just pay and order at the counter.

I came here specifically for Pho after reading the great reviews, but unfortunately I was left disappointed. I ordered a large bowl of the chicken pho, which included fresh toppings such as basil, jalapenos, one lime, cabbage and bean sprouts (upon request). The one thing to be aware if ordering the chicken pho, is that the chicken is cut up into bite sized pieces which sink to the very bottom of the bowl. I was expecting the chicken to at least be larger in size and noticeable. It left me wondering if they accidentally served me a veggie pho, but eventually I came across the small chunks of chicken. I was also hoping for a rich flavorful broth, but that wasn't the case and it seemed to lack seasoning or something. I can't pinpoint what was missing, but I have tried more flavorful pho's from other places. The pho wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either at a price point of $17.99 for a large. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant itself is very cute and clean. They also have outdoor seating in the patio area, with heaters provided if dining here at night. Overall, everyone has different expectations when it comes to food but this place just wasn't for me.

    Bravo. We made it!

Absolutely amazing pho! We loved it so much that we ordered extra to take home. The ambiance inside and outside the restaurant had a wonderful, relaxing vibe. What truly made the experience incredible was the warm hospitality of the staff, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and engaging with pleasant small talk. I will definitely be coming back. Even reheated at home, the pho tasted fresh and flavorful, a real sign of quality ingredients. Highly recommended!

This place is AMAZING!!! My first time trying Vietnamese food and I'm so hooked. The Pho was amazing, as was the curry and spring rolls! Highly recommend! Nice local family too!

I discovered this place 2 years ago when it was still 4 Eggs and Pizza and was so happy to find a hidden gem tucked away with authentic tasting Pho! There's indoor and outdoor seating and it's nested away between some small businesses in Victoria Court. It's typically pretty quiet and good service. If you want something a little more refreshing this summer I'd recommend the vermicelli bowl!

We found SB Pho on Yelp and went to the restaurant without the reservation. SB Pho is not on the main State Street. It's inside this little europe style food court, which is very cute. We got our table right away upon arrival. We sat outside since it's not that cold and really enjoyed the environment there. We ordered their PHO with beef ribeye small size ($15.99), which was amazing! The broth was super delicious, which was over my expectations. The beef rebeye was very tender. They use the cabbage to replace the bean sprouts, which I was worried about in the beginning since this is not how traditional PHO does, but it turned out very good. They also don't use MSG in the soup, which is very healthy. We also tried Lavender Chamomile Hot Tea ($5.99/pot), which smelled really good and tasted good as well. It's a good bombination with our PHO. The service was good. We will definitely recommend SB Pho to our friends and will visit again to try some other dishes in the future.

I came here because I was craving something soupy and pho sounds just perfect. The owner suggested their new spicy pho and it was delicious and flavorful! My only thing is the noodles were a bit overcooked that it was breaking. Other than that, I very much enjoyed the environment and the new spicy pho that hits. Oh, can't forget the Thai tea too. 10/10!! Would love to come back if I ever come to visit Santa Barbara again.

Got the beef pho - shredded cabbage instead of bean sprouts & no fresh Thai basil. Cost cutting measures? Won't try this place again.

One of the best spring rolls. I recommend the spring rolls with the fish sauce. The beef pho soup base is excellent. No MSG. A must try.

My date, a steak professional and strict carnivore, rated it "good." I, on the other hand, thought it was super delicious! The booth seating was comfortable, too. Service was great overall--except that we were given someone else's tab. Fortunately, the total was about the same as what our steak dinner would have cost, so I didn't realize there was a mistake until I got home. That's when things got a little frustrating. I tried calling the restaurant several times to correct the error, but no one ever picked up. By late morning the next day, I finally got through, and a woman told me the manager would call me at noon to help sort things out. Unfortunately, noon came and went, and I never heard from him. I'm curious whether my message actually got through and whether the manager will eventually call me. Fortunately, I'm local, so I'll stop by the restaurant on my evening walk and take care of it in person. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner and would happily go back--but if you need to reach them, don't rely on the phone!

Nuzz really enjoyed the bacon. The POTATOES though!! So good. Thinly sliced, thicker than a potato chip, perfectly salted and super crispy. The side portion was generous too. Our total was about $53 for the avocado toast with add-ons, potatoes, cold brew, water and tip. I'm glad we shared because that felt pretty steep for one breakfast! SCORE 0 HEALTH HAZARD 10…read more This is our third time we've had issues with the staff. Today is our last time going here. There was only one person in line and 4 staff members behind the counter standing around talking to each other. Nobody greeted us or asked for our bakery order. When I said excuse me to a dirty blond girl she replied "WHAT!" and continued to joke with a co worker. When the cashier finished with their customer they walked away and even though they saw we were waiting to be helped. I looked around and saw nobody helping seated customers or us at the bakery counter. Finally, the dirty blonde ask what we need and my response was "WHAT" ?! At this point we should have left and gone to Lilac Patisserie however we proceeded to give her our order. I told another customer behind us that rudeness seems to be the norm, and she agreed. I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. It was also an epiphany that they don't treat everyone this way. It could be you next time. Please go somewhere else. We will never go to anywhere but Lilac Patisserie which is to the left as you exit Andersons, past the stop light. You will definitely get your money's worth and the staff is friendly, professional, and greet you immediately as you reach the counter.
