But since our dog had a butt mishap (aka we tried to trim his butt at home) we thought he needed some professional help. We called this place and got an appointment the next day. If you are new they require rabies documentation for your first visit. During the phone call, they just ask general questions on your dog's name, weight, your info, and times you can come in. In addition, they are very upfront with their fees. We told them our dog weight/breed so the receptionist gave us a range so we knew what to expect. I believe they give a range because until they see the dog, they won't know what extra things might need to be done. The day of the visit, we felt very welcomed and seeing all the dogs in the back and in the front waiting area gave our mind ease. Our dog is quite shy and a scaredy cat (except at the dog park, go figure lol). Upon checking in, one of the groomers came out saw his butt and knew he needed to be saved from a haircut got wrong. Although shy, as soon as we let him behind the gate with the groomer, he was quite willing to follow them...but very slow. They gave him a little butt trim and a very good wash that including nail trimming which took roughly 3-4 hours. When picked up he smelled so good, looked extremely happy and calm, and had the cutest bandana on him. The price we paid was less than what we were quoted on which was awesome. But this is probably because he didn't need much of a cut. We definitely plan to use this place in the future as all staff was very kind, all the dogs we saw in the establishment (including ours) were quite calm/happy/excited. The price is reasonable and I like that you can get quoted where they give you a range from the cheapest it could be to the most expensive.

Danielle is friendly and reliable and most of all - she does a great job. We always go with a short cut on our Maltese for ease of maintenance and Danielle's cuts are very consistent. Our dog always looks the same, which is a big positive in my book. Other groomers have delivered inconsistent looks when we simply wanted the same haircut. The convenience of the mobile service is hard to beat too. It's a little more expensive than service at a brick and mortar building, but it's worth it in my opinion. You won't regret going with this business for your furry friend's grooming needs. Most groomers do multiple dogs at once--and your dog sits in a cage in the meantime. Not great. Maria is working with just one dog --yours--from start to finish--so it's way less stress for your baby. I should also mention that Maria is the best, kindest, most competent dog groomer in the DMV. Full stop. If you have a small dog, don't even *think* about going anywhere else! Not only will your furbaby be gorgeously groomed, you will have the peace of mind of knowing he is being cared for by 1) someone who genuinely loves dogs, and 2) is also incredibly talented and experienced. The owner went on to say that if I wanted to bring my dog back in 3-4 weeks, she would just do just the haircut. 4 weeks later, I set up an appointment for just a haircut, and confirmed it right then and there - just a haircut. Yes, they understood. I then confirmed again when I dropped the dog off. They understood. When I picked them up, they had done a full groom, which looked fine but wasn't what i asked for. The owner implied I had misunderstood, but wouldn't address that she had said I could come back for just a cut, and she would not answer questions about why her staff had agreed repeatedly to just a cut. She just kept saying she didn't understand the confusion, and I had to pay $150 because they had done a full groom. she wasn't even aware of how much they charged for a full groom at first. She discounted 20%. Her response to me saying I wouldn't be bringing her my business anymore was, "That's fine". This business is not registered with the BBB. I recommend you go elsewhere, but get everything in writing if you bring your animal here.
